Not sure if it does but if it's linked to Google Maps or can sync with G'Maps it should since Google Maps uses Learning Software & Real-Time Data from millions of other users to calculate the average traffic speed and/or report incident locations.
It would be nice if you could run the satellite view as the truck route instead of switching back and forth. I have a garmin and I have an Apple tablet mounted to my dash so I can run a truck route and satellite view at the same time

He didn't, he synced the tnd with his phone, he clearly says its connected to his phone. Would like to see if you actually CAN download Google maps on it. I think that would make for a very nice system to add. I'm not a truck driver myself but I do take long drives back home to Northern Idaho and don't have normal built in gps. I think this would be great to have...
