On the quick discussion about watching football in America @ 24:00 (I'm Canadian and it's pretty similar we just have to pay for more content) they do have Matchday Live and a lot of other content on DAZN when watching the Premier League and it definitely adds to the experience instead of just having advertising throughout the halftime break. This also means since I can watch the Premier League, LaLiga, etc. here I do not care one bit about MLS lol.

American here. Peacock is a streaming service that has the rights to all the prem games. NBC is the big national cable network that shows a few free games per week. They have sister channels (USA Network, NBCSN, etc.) that have the games if they show multiple during the same kickoff time. But if you want to have access to all the games every week you need to buy Peacock.

Football in America is rather interesting. Like it’s not as big yet, but they r making decent efforts to show America football. I pay $5 a month and get the whole UCL experience, and I get Peacock/NBC for free with my tv provider to watch the prem. Most of the games r available to watch in some sort of way, it’s just that u have to have certain subscriptions to access them. With RU-vid and other platforms we mainly watch u guys in the UK, because we have a STRONG lack in American presence for the football community on RU-vid. It’s growing, but it’ll take time before it gets to a decent height, and the football here in America will NEVER amount to the level of Europe.

Football is actually growing big time in America as well. They usually like to mix in Americans w UK announcers… ie Tim Howard with the uk announcers on nbc and now all the games are on a $5-month subscription service
On Peacock idk the cost but it's been fun to hear Tim Howard as a born and raised Coloradan (I.e. a rapids fan lol)... football is a lot bigger here, I played in some large clubs as a kid, but unfortunately in school it's discouraged for American football or basketball or something (same thing I struggled with, I chose basketball and in the end wish I played "sorry for the crime but I'll call it soccer" the whole time cuz I had multiple teammates go d1 and d2 and I coulda had so much fun in college instead

To explain watching football in America, we have NBC sports which holds the rights to the premier league broadcasting in America, so NBC owns peacock. NBC puts some games on the peacock app, and other games on the NBC sports channel, so unless you have NBC sports and also pay for peacock you have no idea if you can even watch your club every week, cause it's one or the other.

I can never take Fpl too serious because I only do things I want to happen irl. Always ramsdale and two other arsenal players. I can never put Kane or son.. And anyone else in the top four race like Man U or wolves I can't either
