Random Acts of Kindness: Paying for People's Groceries 

I have done this at a grocery store several times where someone didnt have enough money. One time I was in a Subway. Very hot day here in Arizona. A woman was in there with her child. They were so thirsty. She didnt have enough change to buy a drink. The staff member said they were out of water cups and couldn't give a regular cup. It is Arizona law that any business has to give you water for free. You could tell the woman didnt have much money. I bought them lunch and drinks and bottles water for later. She couldn't stop crying and her boy who was 6 years on his OWN thanked me 3x telling me he was so hungry and thirsty and his momma is doing everything to give them food. I told her to wait in the subway for me I would be right back. I gave her $100.00. She kept crying and thanking me. As I look back I feel she may have been a victim of domestic violence and I wish I would have tried to ask more. I hope she is okay. I think about her and her child often

The person who immediately cry when told their groceries is being paid, are the ones who had hardest time.. I know it cause i have experienced myself, when you're your rock bottom and suddenly there is a gelping hand from other, you just can't help yourself but to cry..

I did that once I saw a little girl. She was doing some shopping for her alcoholic mother She didn’t have enough money So i payed and ask her if she needs more help. It was a good feeling Since that day I do what ever i can and afford a day to help somebody else

I can see the change in the world when I see these kind of videos....I could be in the saddest and don’t give a shit attuned but I watch these videos and it makes me change my heart

I used to be able to do this and it make a great impact on my life. I can no longer do these things because due to unfortunate circumstances I am unable to have much mobility. But I do keep snacks in my backpack and try to do what I can. Thank you for this Video. God Bless you.👼

I have done this myself many times, but I never let them see who I am. Last time, I put gift cards in sealed envelopes with a message and short Bible verse on the outside. I walked around the small grocery store in town randomly leaving them on top of products on the shelves so the next person who walked by and looked at the shelf for an item would see it and pick it up. I have also gave the cashier a gift card if I was the only one in line at the time and asked them to use it for groceries for as many people they could until it was used up. I prefer anonymity when I help, give or give charitable donations. The thanks and glory should go to God in everything we do. Good works don't get you into heaven, but being the recipient of good works can change a persons life forever. I commend her actions, but I would personally never let anyone know that I was the one who did it. And I would never record anything like this. That is just my personal decisions. Nevertheless, I want to thank this lady for her unselfish gift of love that she has given on this day. God Bless 🥰

i helped a syrian refugee kid once. he bought everything he needed for a fish dinner on a goverment food stamp but he hadnt enough credit/value on the stamp so he put back the fish he was nervous for the line i think.. i was thinking whats the point of the fish dinner if he put back the fish lol.. and not some of the unnessary things he was going to buy. the kid was happy for me buying dinner. told him to go get candy for the foodstamp instead xD

Tell you what. One of the big supermarkets around here 'upgraded' their EBT system, 'forgot' to tell anyone, including customers...and the EBT cards suddenly could not be accepted in the new computer. So, people who could not pay cash for their groceries had to put stuff back. The store took three days to even put a sign up. I happened to be on the line that day, having just been paid well for an unexpected side job. And, when my embarrassed neighbor turned round, to put back his groceries, I quietly paid for them. And for the lady behind him, who had heard what was going on, and was about to put her items back as well. This was nothing fancy, no caviar - just milk, bread, eggs, instant coffee. I am ashamed for the store for not making a better plan, because neighbors in need went hungry because of 'computer errors' - how crappo is that? I was glad to help, and ended up paying for three or four neighbors, all great people. The new system was finally put in place, after nearly a week of this nonsense.(I no longer shop at that store.)

It's when I see these kind of acts of kindness it makes me want to do the same. I might not have a lot of money but what I do have I don't mind sharing. I know that I have paid things forward a time or two in my life. People have helped me through some humbling times.

i wish to see someone with a trolley full of grocery and once paid for tell the cashier that was all yours by the way ...you punched or scanned it hey....how lucky would that smiley face be that day ??? one day it will happen , wouldn't it rich folks are and to be ?
