My first short I created for Nickelodeon/Frederator, for the Random Cartoons show. It features the voices of Candi Milo, André Sogliuzzo, and yours truly. Also listen for composer Shawn Patterson, of Robot Chicken fame! Hope you likey!
@@georgiecarapella3274 People only want copy paste junk like Adventure Time and Steven Universe or baby trash like Teen Titans Go. Nothing is original anymore 😔
@@georgiecarapella3274 Exactly! If it's not a reboot it's something we've seen a hundred times! Give us something new, something great, something like Yaki and Yumi!😭
this show feels like a target at me, both the main characters are my favorite mythical and real animals, the style is something I'd take inspiration from as a child, I love this
Yaki = Ren Hoek (less violent then Ren) Yumi = Cow I would love to see this become a series, I feel the characters would develop into something unique in an episodic format. .I love the art style here has fairly distinct feel to it.
Yumi: Personally Yaki, I am not hungry at all. I am above eating. _(She says while eating everything in sight and doesn’t even share the only actual food she has)_
Glad this randomly showed up in my recommendations! It's so cute! I agree with the other comments saying it's like Ren and Stimpy meets Cow and Chicken, and the mix isn't bad. I actually like the dragon design despite usually disliking the "pink because girl" decisions. The pink fits with her character. Hope this blows up one day and gets picked up by someone.
Funny that alot of people don't know that almost every comedy cartoon during the 90s and 2000s were inspired by Ren and Stimpy. Heck, almost all of them worked for that show.
That's your opinion. And I respect it. I'm just saying almost every comedy cartoon was inspired by Ren and Stimpy. Remember that Ren and Stimpy was the first cartoon to bring back actual cartoon humor since the Pink Panther shorts.
OH MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS! This just opened up a vault of old Cartoon knowledge, and I must reclaim what was forgotten. Again, thank you so much!
The art is beautiful. Normally when I see flat colors like this I think it's going to be cheaply tween animated. But this is gorgeously animated. Especially the eating and the break dancer.
The only reason i couldn't see this as a legit Internet series for the channel, (Besides animation budget) is, if it's technically copyrighted under Nick, since it appeared under Their name in the random cartoons part, that'd be BS if it were true.
Oh, wow! So you created, drew, storyboarded, and it appears even did some of the voices! Too cool. Felt very '90s. More modern TV cartoonists could probably learn a thing or two from you about what works and is entertaining!
@haneefal-amin Both Solomon Fix is an interesting Premise A Winnie the Pooh parody basically A teddy bear that's always optimistic in an always cynical world. Even when he's broken to pieces, he still keeps going That's actually a good lesson for kids Boneheads can be good just for how strange the style is Plus it's nice seeing a prehistoric world that doesn't really resemble our own
Looks like cow and chicken meets my little pony Wasn't a fan of either cartoon but the 2 combined somehow works quite well, such a shame it got left in the dust 4:56 Also, did that octopus just fucking dab?!?
