Random Reaction Monday! | First Time Reaction to GOT7 "NANANA" MV 

Jackson took off 3 months of his solo schedules to prepare for GOT7’s comeback as he felt that it was important to prioritize the group! GOT7 as a group are also credited as the “Executive Producer” of their album a first in kpop. The entire album has writing & producing credits for the members

Jay B (the leader aka the long hair one) learned legally how to obtain their rights, in the end JYP gave it to them but he still organized a team and ect to make this comeback happen. Got7 said they were planning this for a year. They didn’t go to court for this though, it didn’t take too long to get the rights it took like a year which is unheard of. Got7 members are under different companies but together as a group they are under Warner Music Korea. The members companies support them as a group and helped with the comeback so they love Got7 as much as Got7 loves themselves lol. Our fandom is Ahgase (you pronounce it as Ah-Ga-Say) which translates to Baby Bird in English hence the birds in the music video is supposed to be the fandom. The last part of the video is them being genuinely happy because they are a family and love one another. There are 4 Korean members and 3 foreign ones Korean members are: Jay B (the leader) he’s under H1GHER Music Jinyoung he sang after Yugyeom and he’s under BH Entertainment Youngjae he sang the hook with Jackson he’s under Sublime Agency Yugyeom (the maknae) he sang first and he’s under AOMG Foreign members are: Mark (the oldest, he’s American with Taiwanese decent) he’s the one with the peacock and he was the rapper with the deep tone and he’s under CAA but he’s also kind of independent Jackson (Chinese you know who he is) Bambam (Thai he’s the one with the pink outfit and the green scarf) he’s under ABYSS Company Nanana isn’t a romance song it’s a song for the fans. Na means Me in Korean, so replace nanana with me. “The one who makes you smile nanana”. It’s directed towards us 💚🥰.

Luckily they didn’t have to go to court. JayB had to do some legwork in collecting all the needed documents and such, but he said that the company had agreed to give them the name rights without going through a legal battle. I’ve been a K-Pop fan for quite a while and I’ve some really terrible behavior from a number of companies after a contract ended, but I don’t recall JYPEn. ever interfering with or causing issues for their former artists; and I can’t recall any instances of people talking badly about JYP or JYPEnt after leaving. Mostly the departures have seemed quite amicable. When 2PM’s contracts were ending, everyone but Taecyeon (who chose to sign with an agency that could better support his acting aspirations; but he’s still an active member of 2PM) chose to renew with JYPE. And I’m pretty sure I read that JayB said in an interview the main reason the group decided to leave the company was so that they could focus on their individual paths more freely. JYPEnt is good at creating groups, promoting them, and treating them well (not saying they don’t have any issues, all companies do), but they don’t seem to be very good when it comes to promoting members individually (aside from things like music show/radio show hosting or appearances; though they’re trying to now with Twice’s Nayeon making her solo debut soon). I’m not sure if it’s bc they don’t have the staff to properly support to many individual activities or if they just prefer to focus on group activities. JYPEnt definitely has room for improvement, but I don’t think it’s too bad of a company.

yup.. thankz to Jay B's hard work in sorting out the legal documents in getting all the trademark, we r blessed with this comeback.. well, long story short they've been mistreated due to the image company create on them.. unlike Stray Kidz that initially build for "self-produce concept", Got7 is group that supposed to portray "company color".. but anyway, they did leave on the good term, despite all those issues.. it's not any of the members label, Got7 is a free group, but the distributions will be done under Warner Music Korea.. this vibe is actually more on Got7's real color music.. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
