❤I’m so glad you’re back John! You’ve been missed. Thank you for these podcasts, they’re my favorite thing on RU-vid at this point. You always speak about interesting topics and your voice is so soothing to listen to. ♥️
So happy to see you dropping another VORW podcast! ^^ It really is such a lovely treat when one gets released. I'm working on the backlog currently, still lots to catch up on. I hope you and yours are well, take care John.
10:10 You always have interesting topics to talk about...and I care!❤ 1:13:56 Thank you for mentioning the names of the SW radio stations, now I can refer to my list and check out the shows :)
To him, listing out all the defunct short wave radio stations must feel like that moment where Mr. incredible sees the names of all the dead super heroes.
It's really sad to hear about the decline of shortwave... makes me want to finally buy a radio. I've been wanting to for a long time since I saw one of your videos about them years ago.
Salutations, sir! I am very glad you're back! I've been thinking of getting a shortwave radio, lately. Perhaps I'll be able to tune in more often! I always enjoy hearing your voice! Cheers!
How come you don't post your radio broadcasts every time you do them? I noticed you have done many, but I can't catch them live since I sleep at 3am. But I'm just curious why you don't record and post the raw radio every time you do it. 😅❤
I, too, have found that the quality of a lot of fast food chains has declined. Perhaps it has to do w/cost, and increasing prices of food. I cook at home 99% of the time, as I'm always disappointed after paying for fast food or a restaurant chain...and wishing I'd just cooked. I used to like BK's impossible whopper, and then they became sloppier, and drier. Now I'll only go to local, family owned restaurants when I want take out (Japanese, Chinese, or Italian most of the time). Chik Fil-a is the only exception, in my opinion, where the food is consistently great. You pay a little more for it, but it's great. I wish there was one closer to me.
Nobody asked me, but I'd like to request you continue this show at least once a month and ask listeners what they would like you to discuss prior to broadcast or maybe have some guests or live callers or even pre-recorded if you need to censor this in any way for decency. You really have an opportunity to make this better, solicit a sponsor and increase this style and format to eclipse the views on your food reviews, which are okay, but you're more intelligent and better than that intellectually in my opinion after hearing many of these vorw shows.
time travel and multiverses. CERN Large Hadron collider. Michio Kaku could be your first interview, a brilliant mind Quantum computing, Types of civilizations. I challenge you to challenge yourself John
I would hate guests on the show tbh, John's voice and opinions are calming and intriguing to listen to on their own, I think guests would ruin the experience. There are already too many podcasts like that... John's is unique in that it's more like a traditional radio show.
To be honest I prefer the podcast as is without guests. I enjoy John's calm voice while listening to his topics of interest and responding to listener emails.
He likes doing food reviews, even if you think he’s better than that. Did you check out how it all started? He started off doing energy drink reviews. He loves doing that.
When you are doing reviews, you can only look that one product from that one restaurant and need to avoid generalizing. This is my specific experience. Your mileage may vary. And that seems to be what you do for the most part. If you get a badly prepared item, for instance, you say that and tell people that what they will receive might be different. And that's a good way to cover that type of situation. Tell us what you experienced, and we'll decide for ourselves what we think of the chain.
I order there every morning morning spending 13 dollars. I'm on the fence but they have a staff that hones in the correct order. I hate their biscuits, they are dry and stale. Help me chick FIL a. I'm tired of stale, rock hard, dry bland biscuits. It's infuriating.
