W1Z25 Yes, it did feel like that. As Yahtzee said on FEAR 3 "if there's anything less scary than a tactical shooter, it's a co-op tactical shooter". It feels like the same applies to The Forest. The cannibals quickly became background noise as we started play-fighting with their severed arms.

Edit - that's also partially why I leave such large breaks between Alien Isolation playthroughs. I intentionally forget the sounds and sights of Sevastapol, to avoid being desensitised.
