Whether a blue blaze, taking a zero for health, well being with good company, pounding the miles out with, or without that good company, or enjoying the quietest surrounding; you have milked all the facets of the trail, like Greg from "Meet the Fockers" just milking every drop 😅! @@Jessicabtx this meant so much to me. Thank you. I still have some miles to go, and the title of the video was apparently misleading a bit. It was my attempt to clarify why finishing isn’t more important to me than not finishing. I am in Maine and trekking north, only a few short weeks remain. I so appreciate this message. Made me smile.
I understood the message you spoke about in the prior video. It’s been obvious, that you value what you are doing. I do believe that your words are inspirational…. because I’ve been inspired as have many others. I imagine that most of the hikers who took that first step….have no idea of the specific “why”. What they gain after that first step will or should become clear… don’t you think? Anyway.. you’ve done a great hike … be safe!✌️🙂💚
@@tresannrn8454 sometimes it is difficult to communicate in words exactly what we mean to say. My intent doesn’t matter as much as how it is perceived. Hence feeling the need to clarify a bit. I do feel like clarity comes at odd times, and usually in hindsight. I have a saying that I never fully realize anything, I get realization when I get it; not when I want it. I assume it is the same for most everyone. I don’t know what I don’t know and I will know when I am supposed to know. The pieces of the puzzle come together and help me to trust the path I am on, but they are only pieces and I hope I never finish this puzzle. As always, thank you so much for all that you are and for being with me on this journey. Your presence strengthens my resolve.
