My name is “Wingit” and I am attempting an Appalachian Trail 2024 Thru Hike - without much of a plan, in fact, I am Winging it along the way. Here is another day I am grateful to share with everyone.
September 20th, 2024 was the one year anniversary of me beginning this RU-vid Channel and this particular video contains a clip I used when I uploaded one of the first videos to this channel. This was before the idea ever came to my mind to hike the Appalachian Trail, before I ever had a beard and before I ever grew my hair long.
This video contains the exact words from a friends text message; a friend who soon after he texted me passed from his addiction. His words led me to begin this Channel and are also prophetic in language that resemble the Appalachian Trail.
I wanted to take a day and honor this anniversary. In this last year I have been on an adventure of a lifetime. I gave away all my possessions and lived in a tent for 75 days and have also been in the mountains of 14 different states along the Appalachian Trail as I continue north to Mt Katahdin. I have also gained almost 1500 subscribers along the way, fulfilling Stephen’s words or reaching others. I am beyond blessed for the experiences I am having and the guiding words of a friend.
