We had some ground that my dad and grandad rented for twenty plus years. There was one field we called the triangle field it was good cotton ground in the early 80's we planted it to winter wheat and we tteated it like most of winter wheat chisel plow disc, harrowed, and drilled the following june it cut right at 70 BPA we quit in the farming in the mid 80's but a neighbor bought it in late 90's and several years ago 2014 or 2015 his son grew 100 bushel soybeans on that triangle field. That was and still is a good deep loam soil field.
