Since you wanted to knowwhat it's about, the lyrics are written by Hazrat Ameer Khusro(R.A) for his spiritual master Hazrat Nizamuddin Awliya (R.A) whose tombs are now together in Delhi, India. Hazrat Nizamuddin Awliya was one of the great Sufi saints of the Indian Subcontinent and Hazrat Ameer Khusro was one of his closest disciples. You can read more about them online.
@@MsMatch2u I’m not sure, but it’s asking for AlLah’s Rehmat on that person. Can be ashab, can be recent scholars and leaders even like Allama Muhammad Iqbal (RA), can also be your grandfather or father or friend or any Muslim (submitted to/servant of God/AlLah). Wa’AlLahu Aalam.
These are Muslim saints, who not only created the beautiful language of Urdu, but also created a unique way of praising Allah and his messanger Mohammad. Qawalis are a celebration of all that is beautiful in life. Prayers are for Thanking Allah and asking for forgiveness and mercy. Qawali is a celebration of the bounty.
This actually a pure "SOFI" song and the singers are praising to their religious master called "Murshid". in Persian/Urdu language. The word "Rang" (colour) is representing a religious gathering/celebration at shrine of Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya.
I don't know what to say about this song, completely speechless. I am not sure I have heard a better musical performance anywhere!! I can listen to this at anytime and anywhere, it gives me a spiritual experience like no other!! RIP Amjad Sabri! You shall be missed!
By his signing and poetry some hearts are moved to joy and tears, and others to thoughts of murder... it is beyond my comprehension, why ? I hardly ever listen to qawalis but the tragedy, like you, makes me cry for my country.. Why can we not be normal
@@tariq_sharif Some things are very emotional specially when it comes to your nation or country, but I really hope these insane people who take lives just for money, get normal & stop doing it cuz they have no idea what it feels like.
This is not a song but a "Qawali" which is is a devotion to Sufism (spiritual devotees)...plz also react on "Gharoli" by Nescafe basement and "Naina moray" by Coke studio....💝✌
I dont know if anyone commented this but the word 'Allah' at 8:22 by Amjad sabri is traditional in Sabri Family . Love your reactions seda ❤️ Next one - raag by Rahat fateh ali khan por favor And Merry Christmas in advance 🌟
@@akhtarhussain1105 That's not what he is saying. It is a tradition in the Sabri family to add the word "Allah" in the qawalli even though it is not actually present in the lyrics. The specific intonation can feel jarring to someone who doesn't know this tradition (listen to 8:22, you'll understand). It also serves a musical purpose, but that's too complex to explain in a RU-vid comment.
The Qawwali, this style of lyrics and music, comes from a very mystic experience, that is why the lyrics are mostly parabolas. "The colour" for instance, does not mean the colour itself, it rather means "the grade, the difference, the power, the very effect..." of the " inner light" the "follower" receives from his spiritual guide or "the Auliya" in the lyrics. "The Bride", is the common parabola in mystic poetry for "the absolute truth" beyond everything, where the inner "journey" to God Himself begins and never ends, where the "seeker" find the True Love, and he is absolutely delighted withe what he witnesses, hears, sees, feels, touches etc... the music itself must express the inner events, and the percussion an "imitation" of the rhythm of heartbeat ❤️
This was written in a acceptance and celebration of Holi festival by Islamic poet. It was a time when people were not divided by religions. People respected others beliefs. The songs talk about Holi festival.
The way you were moving you head shows how you understand these songs, ofcourse these songs are infectious and make you move but for a person who is not familiar to this kind of music it says alot that you are getting it so quickly. Qawali and Sufi music does take you to another level, the Nusreat Fateh Ali Khan uncle of Rahat is known to be the greatest vocalist in the world, Jeff Buckley said he is my Elvis and covered his songs in Urdu even thou he did not understand his language and also did a special interview of his ido Nusrat, his compositions, vocals everything was perfect but unfortunately his videos is old, do check him out, there is no one better in South Asia still his songs are covered againa nd again. BTW All coke Studios songs are recorded in one take but sometimes one take some mistake happens so they start al lover again or like rehearsals are done then main performance but here they did it the first time without any mistakes. Please react to Atif Aslam Jalpari
It always feels like I’m loosing myself in this kinda music. There is something so special and magical about this music and I really love it. I will definitely check some songs from Nusrat, thanks for recommending me this. 😊
Dont be sorry about your English its perfect. Its very spiritual song which is called Qawali, and i can see you enjoying it in a very spiritual way. Rahat is the great singer...RIP Amjad Sabri the legend of Qawali
This form of singing call QAWALI this is basically group singing. This is written for Nazam uddin Ulia a Holy person, centuries ago. Like Iben Al Arabi.

U R RIGHT , This Is Spiritual Song , ISLAMIC Thoughts, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Father Nasrat Fateh Ali Khans He Also Same . But His Voice Is... What I Will Say !! Wow.
This song/Qawalli always hits me different. Not just for the beautiful lyrics, exceptional talent/vocals and soulful music, but because of the fact that this was Amjad Sabri's last performance. The world truly lost a music legend with his demise. May God bless him and give peace to his soul. Amazing reaction Seda, as always. And thanks for reacting to my suggestion.
The late amjad sabri not only played songs but he also many times prayed the kalaam of Ramadan Transmissions but unforfunatly he was killed in 2016 on 16th Ramadan and he is our martyr may ge rest in peace
This is a last performance of Amjad sabri saab tge legend of the legends. he is the inspiration of many other popular pakistani singer and the qawali tajdar e haram is originally sung by him and when atif was reprising this in coke studio they get permission from him ist and he appreciates atif ao much for his performance on his qawali i will recommend tajdar e haram original amjad sabri saab version i think you should react to this as well
Wow I was just watching your reaction to chaap tilak and I'm so glad you reacted to this video and one of the first to see your reaction to Rang. You didn't turn on the translation though!
I did.☺️ I just didn’t record the video instead I downloaded it afterwards to insert it into my reaction video and unfortunately there is no option to download it with the lyrics/translation.
Hi, Seda Nur if you're seeing my comment. Music of this type is called the music of mystics. Or the Kalam of Sufi. Qawali is a huge part of music......Mr.Amjad Sabri left us with this last gift......
