Friends this video should have atleast 100 million views. I was born in Bihar, grew up in Jharkhand, studied in Odisha and I am a bengali. I have been listening to this song for a long time. In my native place, Saraswati puja visarjan dance or any Baraat dance is incomplete without this song.
this song reached northern coasts of AP way back in 70s. By 90s it is repeatedly played in all india radio vizag station and is already super popular in the surrounding regions, anyone who lived in this regions can identify the song. Although, they were not very aware of its origins or its language, but many dubs/ spin-offs/ interpretations were created and commonly heard.
There are many native Odia population in Vizag , Srikakulam and Vizinagaram... Mostly at time of Kalinga Rule and Port and naval job much Odia ppl migrated to Vizag ....
