Great kit, and well done vid. I recently learned the lesson of keeping a rod for stuck casings, the hard way. Thank you 👍

Appreciate the kind words! I haven’t had to add anything else, so this is still my go-to setup.

Cleaning rod to push out stuck casings is an awesome thing to have that is often overlooked. Same with the lead removal wipes! I didn't even know lead wipes were a thing until about a year ago.

Thankfully, I’ve never had to use the cleaning rod, but better to have and not need than need and not have! I use those wipes before I even get in my truck! Don’t want to be exposed to that stuff more than needed 💪🏼

Thanks 👊🏼 many trips to the range and forgetting equipment has gotten me to this point. Any suggestions I might have forgotten?

@@tailgatetactical3260 TT - you have it covered well. I add some cheap dollar store paper plates - using some painters tape to tape to the target after it's been tattered a bit - gives me a more narrowed target( your orange spots pretty much do the same . be safe. ~ JDS/CT

I buy the 18x18x24 boxes at menards and cut them into IPSC sillouete targets. for $2.48 you can make 4 sillouettes plus 4 C zone targets

Would you normally take some dummy rounds with you in the range bag? Seems like a logical place to keep them for practice purposes.

I usually make it a point to keep dummy rounds separate from live ammo, that way it minimizes the chance of mixing them up. Instead of simulating malfunctions (which might be a good thing to do), I usually have a buddy load a random number of bullets in my mags so I get surprised when I run out.

why do you bring a medkit if they have them there? assuming you're going to a public ranged that is staffed in some way

What's going on man, I wanted to know your philosophy on handguns, I own 3 currently, is it counter productive to own more than 2 pistols because of course training and ammo is important, but what's your philosophy
@tailgatetactical3260

My philosophy is to own as many firearms as I realistically can. Do I train with them all, no. I do consistently train with any firearm I’m using for self-defense, like what I’m conceal carrying or for home defense. Now, is it more important to own many firearms or to train? Both are important, but if you don’t train, what good are they. I prioritize buying ammo and training over buying a new firearm. Hope that helps.
