What's in my Range Bag? 5.11 Tactical Range Ready Bag Review 

I carry acetaminophen and ibuprofen in my range bag. Especially shooting inside, you can get a heck of a headache! Your shooting partners will really appreciate that, and band aids.

After about six months of competition, you should re-make this video about how your range bag has changed. When I first got my new range bag I put every magazine I owned in the bag, loaded. I always carried about four handguns in it. I think that's why I have shoulder issues today. Six months later I was paring it down to what I needed for that range trip. I didn't carry 100 rounds of .38 Special if I wasn't going to be shooting .38 Special on that trip. I got little bottles and tubes of cleaner and lubricants to keep the weight down. I don't carry a complete cleaning kit, I carry only what I have found that I need for the range trip. I carry some cleaning pieces that my experience has taught me that I need. Like a bailout or get home bag, everything continues to change over time.

Range finder, binocular, shot timer, brass bag, eye protection, gloves, small tool kit containing the proper tools for your optics/mounts/etc

I use a Midway USA bag of the same design, but mine is slightly smaller overall. It is very easy to overload, and being all black, things get lost in it. I cut apart a cardboard box to fit the floor of the removable "stage bag." I laminated (glued) two pieces of cardboard together and then spray painted it white to help me see inside the bag! I also carry a Harbor Freight LED flashlight inside, with an orange lanyard on it, and I end up using that flashlight all of the time since we shoot indoors. The water bottle pocket is one of my favorite features of that bag. My first aid kit is in one of the side pockets along with a second flashlight that is dedicated just for that purpose. Please go into your trauma kit for us.

I am a recent follower and a relatively noobie to handguns. I too have a "collection" of blue OR towels, more essential then baling wire and bubble gum around the house and shop. Since I retired my stash has started to dwindle !

I would add gun lube and a nylon mallet. Might not need it honestly depending on the person but you never know. Especially weather conditions and where you are located because I was at the range the other day and my 1911 .45 jammed up on me and it was cuz the line dried out and it was just cleaned a few weeks prior to the incident.

I have a range bag. It's an old gym bag. It does the job. But I hate it. It's only one large pocket space with two small pockets on the side. My wife is going to start hating you as much as she hates me lol
