This is the first video I’ve seen where this (BMS) needed to be done with an aux battery replacement. I currently have a 2019 (US) Evoque and I think the aux battery needs to be replaced. I don’t have any fault codes, the only thing that has happened is the start/stop has stopped working. Looking to get the ICARSOFT LRV 3.0 just to have a vehicle specific diagnostic tool. I have a 2020 evoque and having gearbox fault and low battery issues , I replaced the main battery and that didn't fix the issue, the dealership is telling me my model doesn't have an auxiliary battery ... I think they are incorrect.
I think your right and the dealer is wrong from what I’ve seen and read Your battery might be in a different position check online I think newer ones are under the bonnet by the bulkhead area
