Replaced suspension/steering parts? Or suffering with uneven tyre wear/bad handling? Then a wheel alignment is probably needed, these cars don't require any extra special treatment over most vehicles on the road, so I'll take you through the basic procedure of setting the tracking using the Trackace setup

with regards to pulling, it will not pull from front toe as the wheels will auto center, pulling can be from the rear wheels thrust line not being down the center of the car. this can happen even when the rear wheels are toe'ed correctly. but because the rears cant steer like the front, they cant auto center. thats why the string system is better (used by rally and f1 cars - look for images on google). its better because it creates 2 parralell line down each side that are parallel to the center line of the car. this ensures that fron and rear wheels are in line with each other factoring in toe spec (for example, my 850 is 4 mins total at the back and 20 mins total at the front). this is all ive learnt from reading and watching videos and will hopefully help others.

@@RoughRestos it's getting quite close now. Still got to cut the ramps about and make them suitable for the RR, then shorten the legs to suit the ramps. That's the last of the big stuff. On the smaller stuff I'm putting all the electrics in the backset and trying to route sensor cables away from noise. Good fun, I like electric stuff, it's clean dust free, quite, and rewarding :)

general rule of thumb toe in for road cars to give straight line stability, track cars normally run toe out on the front to give more steering response (twitchy in my experience)
