Wanted a bit more sound from the 2022 Range Rover Sport and decided to delete the mufflers. Similar like I did to my 2018 Velar. Came out pretty nice and next on the list is ECU and Upper Pulley
On the supersprint store these are like $690 before tax, curious if you asked a local shop how much to make some before you ordered? I'm guessing a muffler shop could have made these and installed for a couple hundred easy. I didn't even see these for a 2022 V8 just the V6 supercharged, guessing that's why they didn't fit.
Clint, great work. Hey, I have a 2021 in Carpathian Grey. I'm trying to paint the muffler tip surround. Did you paint yours or replace with a painted one? Not sure how to remove as well. Can you help? Thanks, Todd
Removal means cutting them off. I removed the mufflers by cutting and installing new straight backs. If you do that then perhaps powder coat black or ceramic coat since gets hot. Mine are stainless and left them bare since can't see muffler hanging down since deleted
@@ClintEwingFreestyle Sir, sorry I didn't mean the actual muffler or exhaust tips. Rather the surrounds that attach to the rear bumper. They are just for looks and come with the stainless steel look from the factory. Yours look like you painted them black to blend with the bumper. That is exactly what I want to to. Do you have a video on how to remove those and what you used to paint black? Your help is appreciated. THank you!
Car sounds amazing, I need to upgrade my exhaust on my Range Rover sport. How do you like the upgrade. I just tuned it and now need to upgrade my exhaust
Well we all know women know best. 😂 I’ve scoured videos all over and your rover sounds the best out of all of them and seems to be the simplest way labor wise as well. So thank you.
Dont do it. I just did it to my 14' 5.0 SC and although it sounds incredible, its too droney at motorway/ cruise speeds. My kids in the back, cant hear me talking to them (no change there then) 😂
