My 2016 Disco Sport was stuck in Reverse. Very easy to remove selector. Filled in the online form Sunday collected Monday lunch time. Hopefully turn around is as quick as advertised. Updates to follow. ECU testing confirmed delivery on Tuesday and returned back to me repaired Friday lunchtime. First class service and lifetime warranty. Would not hesitate to use again and highly recommend. Thanks ECU testing!!!

I did my discovery 2016 and it fixed the problem. I was a little nervous shipping from Canada but the service was fantastic and I recommend.

Whoever designed that gear selector deliberately designed it to fail because they know most Jag owners will take it to a dealership and pay $$$$ to replace the whole module. You really need to ask, what is the reason/benefit for the gear selector dial to RISE? There is literally no need for it to do this...It is simply a deliberate point of failure designed to create profit later down the road. It is why I refuse to buy modern vehicles that have this type of design. My recommendation for anyone who is planning to own this type of car for a long time, you need to get VERY familiar with automotive electrical companies such as ECU TESTING who will repair the original module. That is the future of car repairs....fixing electronic modules.

Issue Evoque 2014 gear selector intermittently will rise but not turn. I do the reset then it’s fine can go for weeks without issue. Just had it to JLR they want £4K to repair and replace gearbox. It drives fine tho. Don’t think it’s the gearbox

I have 2017 Landrover discovery sport. The gear box and parking brake faults came up. The gear selector failed to rotate but it will rise when I switch the car one. But it’s stuck in parking brake and it won’t move to other gear modes. Please help. Am in USA now. How much will it cost to send the part and get it replaced or rebuilt? My company has been using ecu testing for over 13 years and had good experiences and ok ones but one thing i will say is I've never had a part turned around in 2-3 days 🤣😂 it's always "we have a high demand at present blaa blaa" and never had one returned less than 2 weeks. Still happy with their work though. We have just had a customer saying the video says 2 day turnaround, Please don't put that on the video's it doesn't help anyone.
