@@krayzietj well we did get it like 3 years ago. And are almost done paying it off and it currently has 140k miles right now . We’ve drove it to Mexico twice and back talking about 36 hours of trip one way
@@brendamora5509 thats cool and all buy for 20k you could of gotten a brand new car, it was a good purchase for sure though. Im debating if I should get it but im waiting for the price to drop.
Just had my 4.2 done.. Both back boxes deleted & one of the resonators (theirs 2 at the centre on the supercharged).. Straight stainless to back.. Sounds Great when you floor it 👍👍
@@ShirleyAerial Hi mate, no sorry never got round to it. Got the pull by coppers, said it was too loud (antisocial) gave me a couple of weeks to sort it so got 2 small stainless back boxes put on, still sounds good.. Good luck mate, you'll love the sound, a real head turner 👍
@@richardneill3571 hey just remove the 2 big middle resonators , if you have the catalytic converters removed it’ll sound alot louder (annoyingly loud i dont recommend)
I have a 2008 supercharged 4.2L V8, I believe yours is a little newer than mine but I wanted to see with you if you think it would be possible with mine. I’ve read through some of your comments but just wanted to make sure as yours sounds killer!
Hi, if your car is a 2008 then mine is slightly older than yours - 2005. All that’s been done is the 2 centre silencers (resonators) have been removed and replaced with a straight piece of exhaust pipe. Thanks
@@kellyg8604 hi I’m collecting a 4.4 V8 next week (not supercharged) I’d imagine I could do similar to it though. Two questions…does it flag up any error codes at all? Rough costs? Thanks
@@kellyg8604 Hey again! I'm just about to rip apart my Range Rover (in the next couple days) so I wanted to just make sure I've got everything right. Ill be ripping out both the centre resonators and replacing with a straight pipe (or two). The garage suggested to do so with stainless steel as it holds up a little better but just worried that may change the sound of it! Also just wanted to ask if you achieved those pops and burbles just from the resonator delete or did you also work on that separately. I really appreciate your responses by the way! Thanks
I am looking to buy one. How expensive are they to run fuel wise and tax? I will use it at the weekends and important trips. Are they reliable? Anything to look out for mainly? Thank you
Great video. I'm looking at buying a 13/14 5.0 V8 very soon, so I would imagine I could get a very similar, if not louder (because bigger) sound out of it.... Is this a Cat-Back system (in other words, just pipe from the cat, to the very back of the car? Or is there still any boxes/baffles/silencers still there behind the cat? For the record, what I'm planning is a larger supercharger bottom pulley wheel, an ECU tuning, and possibly a sports exhaust. Hoping for about 550-635bhp? BUT, after shelling out for the first two, maybe I will be relieved to cancel the third and replace with a couple of feet of exhaust pipe, and someone to weld them. That's IF that would do a similar, or almost as good job. 😳😂
Hi, All that’s been done is centre resonator’s have been removed, the cat’s and rear back boxes are still in place. I’d image it would be even louder if it was just a straight pipe from the down pipes to the rear - it’s loud enough as it is to live with on a daily basis. People seem to get decent results with the smaller supercharger pulleys alone. I don’t think remapping the 4.2’s is worth it as they don’t get much more power for the cost. I’m not sure about the 5.0, they’re a fair bit faster than the 4.2 to begin with lol. Let me know how you get on with yours. 👍
Hello! I did my muffler delete - sounds awesome, however the sound turns on and off (usually after 15 min drive when it gets warm or sometimes not at all). Any changes in ECU required?
@@kellyg8604 Thanks for the insight. They look like black OEM wheels. I have the same silver and honestly never considered black wheels... Your video has totally changed my mind. Great RR!
Hey, that sound amazing, please can you give me more details about you exhaust system? below you wrote - centre silencer removed, what about catalyst exhaust system, resonator, rear silencer? Thx
