We Are Legend, yes I watch all their videos, I also think Mat is one of the best reviewers out there...Ciro and Mat are in my top 7 best car reviewers list
I seriously love the style and delivery of the presenter. That intro was just super cool. History (good background), content and context all packaged with flair.
The velar pricing makes sense in the UK, where our roads are much smaller than other parts of the world. In the Yorkshire dales, you'd expect many many Range Rovers and yet, there simply aren't any. Everyone drives small cars to nip around the tiny B roads. This fits perfectly with all of those people who need a family car, but can't have a sport simply because they would endlessly need to stop and reverse their car back down narrow country lanes.
So refreshing to see Cairo dressed up a bit, better than usual. Gone are that sweater pants, highlighting his small hands, and two sizes too small t shirts, highlighting his love for pizza.
Ciro, I really enjoyed this review bro, nice one! oh, & I definitely Love the Velar... I'm somar going to buy the dust cloth, can't have those finger prints on "my piano black display" lol
Sport is a bigger heavier duty vehicle that can tow 3.5 tons and can be fitted with third row child seats. Also has an optional two speed transfer case that those who use these vehicles to tow near the limit or drive them on farms and construction sites should consider. For towing it is low range reverse that gives the extra versatility and torque at the wheels.
One suggestion: Can you tell prizes in € , £, or $ ..coz many of followers dont know that Rs...and personally i need check on gChrome after every review. Nice video, keep it up
+Martin Nikolovski Hi Martin, thanks for the comment. I think we can add it in the description. The problem is that South Africa has a complex system of import duties, so in most cases our prices and overseas prices are wildly different.
Amazing car but I think at that already very expensive price there should be a v8 option seeing as they can't really say a v8 option would make it too "pricy"
Guys 😂😂😂.... At R1.4m 😂😂😂😂. NO WAYS, upcoming AMG GLC63 S should be around that price range (working from the german website) ... has a 375kw V8, brand new 4matic+ system from the E63 S ... and its 0-100 isn’t 5.7 but 3.7 seconds! If you want a V6 get the AMG GLC43 which makes better noise and is also faster to 100 at 4.9, and at R1.4m has all the possible options loaded😂😂. Nice try Velar! You are pretty but not worth R1.4m for top spec model nor will you go off road which makes the GLC 63 S and equal contender and better value for money...
Unfortunately the Merc you talk of is going to be more than what you work with on the German website. Mercedes is German, and German cars have to be imported into South Africa. That should add quite a cost on its own.
Funny how you said a Range Rover wont go off road. Please come back and make a statement when you find a Mercedes for the price, comfort, and tech of the Velar which can out perform a Range Rover off road. The Velar is amazing at off road and I'm speaking from experience as I own a Velar and boy is it capable. It has tackled everything I've thrown at it. Mud, Sand or Rocks there was nothing it could not do. While Land Rover haven't got the pricing right they have definitely got the car right. They have made a beautiful car all while keeping the values and off road capabilities of a Land Rover.
How was the Evoque? My father and I think its time to upgrade my mom from her now-outdated Audi A4 (B7). We are thinking of the Evoque. A stylish, capable and right-size SUV. Some people might call it a crossover, but to me it looks more geared towards being an SUV. Out of experience, how would you rate the Evoque out of 10?
@@jeff1595 I worked for them 😂 as emergency service on road, hate them 😑 I actually like looks & everything but they use cheap parts which are unreliable..
@@Diogo_A which one is better please advice me....between the Range Rover Velar OR the 2021 BMW X5 M30d.... Well I know the BMW X5 beats the RR Velar in all aspects ....the Range Rover is a good boy...but the X5 is a bad boy😈😈😈....more especially when you fit it with the X5M rims & P Zero tyres with loads of grip on the road, it becomes something else...... Well I'm actually a big BMW fan...so I obviously prefer the X5 over any Range Rover ....but my problem is ...I wanna keep a low profile...so I wonder if it's possible to keep a low key profile or life while driving an X5🤔🤔🤔 SO I ended up thinkin that the Range rover velar would be a good car to keep a low profile than a BMW X5🤷♂️..... But this Velar looks like its for women.....I wouldn't 3xpect a man to come out of a Velar🤷♂️....but from a BMW X5, I'd expect a real man to come out from it....although some believe BMW X5's are driven by those men who get money illegally....... So in my case man....what would you choose between a Range Rover Velar and a 2021 BMW X5 if you wanted to keep a low profile?.....remember....I live in a suburb full of whites and Indians or blacks that own Mercedes G63s, BMW M8s, Merc C63s, BMW M4, Nissan GTR, Range Rovers etc....
@@ksg5375 mate go with BMW it can be low profile the velar you will definitely draw attention, I don't know what it is but some people think it's gangster car but yh BMW is more reliable then Range. Good luck bro
@@Diogo_A Thanks man...It's jist that as a BMW fan, I was going to get the X5...& do a few exterior changes on it.. like: -Adding the X5M Mirrors -Adding the X5M rear wing or spoiler -Adding the X5M rims & Pirelli P Zero tyres -Adding the X5M bumper & grille Then it will surely look aggressive..... But again, thank you man🙏 ....
