Ok I’ll bite. I’ve been a devoted rainbow-wearer for ~20 years. Got made fun of recently for rocking them at the range. But then, in a moment of beautiful epiphany, I stumbled across your vids. I am now vindicated in knowing there are at least two of us dumb enough to live this way. Keep the legend alive, brother in thongs.

I make a decent living. But guess what? I have a family, I have bills, financial obligations to older relatives that we care for. I, like many others here, don't have the luxury of living in our parents basement spending 100% of our income on toys. For that reason alone is why I appreciate the business model of companies like PSA and Tacticon. Keep on keeping on.

So full disclosure: I am poor! I am on a fixed disability income, which isn't much. But whatever is remaining after rent, bills, a little bit of fuel, and then food, goes towards ammo. I may only get 1 range day a month depending on health and whether or not I'm in the hospital again. But, I go whenever possible...to train! I aim (pun intended) for about (100rnds) .22lr to warmup, and a minimum of (100rnds) or 9mm. I usually go with 150-200 of 9mm, because I want to devote X amount to both my carry, and home defense guns. Nonetheless, I'm poor, and I train! Also, rocking flops in the snow!? You're my F'ing HERO!

4:50 Dry fire is incredibly valuable and cheap. However I do like to occasionally start off a range day with a cold start to get an idea of my performance without warming up.

I've used this example before with being a mechanic: just because you have SnapOn tools doesn't make you a good technician and just because you have gearwrench tools doesn't make you a bad tech, it's how you use it and your experience with the tool.

I watched a trijicon go down on tfb the other day just from getting wet. Back up irons to me are essential. Personal choice just me. But what does that tell us? All optics fail all of them. I have never had irons fail me. And #2 cardio. On a separate note you are a badass walking around in that snow.

That "dont dry fire" comment was also silly because you can warm up in real life... I dry fire from the holster about ten times before I leave the door, with and without light. Same idea but less frequently with knife draw. I think daily warm up is a good part of a carry routine.

I have heard that preparation is also vital after that dude slides it in your back door. Preperation H that is.

I wore sandals the other day to the range and my speed, accuracy, and draw improved drastically!

I found out, by stealing a pair of slides from my son to run to the store, that I liked them substantially more than flops. That was like 7 years or so ago. With slides, I can still wear wool socks. If it's cold, thicker wool socks. Up a ladder, on a roof, doing landscaping, working on my truck, just about anything. I've even been on my Harley with slides on, though I usually wear boots or riding shoes on a bike. Too easy to lose toes. Anything else, yes slides or sandals. My favorites were the hemp rope "Jesus" sandals. Stopped wearing them only because they got destroyed and I've not come across another pair. My grandfather tried mine on, the last 7 years of his life, I think I saw him in shoes only at a funeral. Though, he too was a flop guy during the summer or when not at work. Can't wear flops in an operating room, lol. But I work for myself, I do what I want 😂. Now my brother's wife also wears slides everywhere. I will admit though, that it takes the right pair of slides. Ive had some that just wnt to slip off your feet. Others, you can run in, climb, go hiking...whatever, they stay on. I definitely support the flops and training. So always remember kids, Good Flops and Good Training Prevent Flops in Training

Cobian are great for the money..fellow flop-rocker here🤙🏽. Since I was laid-off by my old USMC job, and lost the boots, I wear flops always everywhere. Frame houses, trail run, make love..all the best things can be very effectively and enjoyably experienced in flops. Gang brutha 🤙🏽

Don’t get me wrong, optics are great, and I love them for 100+ yards. I even like a good red dot, for 100-. However, I was initially trained on iron sights, and still train with them. “The key is to prepare for anything in any situation.”

Currently running a set of midwest industries combat fixed iron sights on my 12.5 and they work great. Working on getting a new optic to put on it. Might go to an eotech exps-3 but they're definitely expensive

I do skip cardio occasionally,, however I always stretch my hammys. I even stetch them when drinking at the bar, the smoking patio has a ledge in the perfect height to do 90° leg stretches.

If you train every day. The cheapest gun out there can outshoot a D.D any time if you can't afford to train. More money isn't always more better. Your videos ar awesome. Have bought multiple things from you guys. All works great for the average guy. Just don't be poor.
