There is just nothing like a 1911. This is true from the angles of the grip to the feel of that safety when it’s disengaged. And when you pull that trigger... Continue reading at www.thearmoryl...
I have an original EMP 3” and it’s a great little gun. There are a few things Springfield should do to make the gun better. The front strap should be checkered, or textured, in some way. The rear sight should just be a black serrated sight; the two dots aren’t needed. The proprietary guide rod assembly is a negative to me. EGW makes a flat wire guide rod for 3” guns, like the Colt Defender, that I need to test for reliability in my EMP. I wish Springfield would make an all Stainless version of this gun (frame and slide) with black G10 grips, like VZ Alien grips, and a magwell. I’d buy one in both 3” and 4” if they did. My EMP has been flawless. Thanks for the video; I enjoyed it.
It’s definitely concealable. I can tell by the way it looks like a die cast miniature in your hands. 😂 Your videos are really good these days. Concise speaking. Cool guns. T Rex arms just released a new chest rig. We would love to hear what you think!!! Thanks
I thought I wanted one of these but when I saw the Springfield EMP 9 I went with it instead. It cost a little more than the Ronin but is every bit worth it. Unfortunately my wife has claimed it and now I'll have to get another one.
I have an original EMP 3” built in 2007. I love this gun, but the take down process is impossible. I have scars on both hands from disassembly. My gun loves Winchester white box 124 grain NATO ammo.
Great review as always... I just got my EMP California edition yesterday and cannot wait to try it out. I did have a question, I see you tried +P ammo, but in the manual, it says it's not recommended? of did I mis understand?
This gun is such a POS. Everyone that has bought one with their own money has had issues with it. Only people who got one free from Springfiend has good things to say about it.
