Thank you for the videos, I’ve been wanting to rear, engine, and transmission swap my 2002 ranger with hopefully the same year explorer parts. Could you give a ballpark price of everything ? after you got the the rear and 5.0.
An 02 is a bit more involved. Thats a PATS vehicle. As far as price, several thousand. Been putting it together the last few years. The first explorer i picked ip wadms a 96 5.0 with a bad engine. I pulled moat of the stuff i needed for my 97 ranger 5.0 swap. $400 for that explorer Then i bought the 97 explorer parts and block for $600 Then i bought a 99 explorer with a blown 5.0 for $200 Got the T5 from a 91 foxbody for like $400 Iv put about $800 into the T5. And about 2000ish into misc parts for the swap But im also doing a 2000 ranger 5.0, which is why i pulled apart the 99 explorer.
