been running a very similar build lately on ranger veteran for the past few months and i gotta say, man i love the grudge-raker. it may have a few weaknesses but it's just so much fun to use. glad to see you back choco🙌
With the shield and axe, I've found possibly the best attack combo. "Shield bash, strong attack strong attack, repeat" Essentially pushing them twice, then one sweeping cut, then repeating it. That patterns is insane at controlling hordes.
I just tried a few games with this build, which seems to be a variation from a RoyalW/Cheese build. It's absolutely incredible. The amount of TH generated is unbeatable, and you can handle chokepoint flanks easily.
I wonder why I never see anyone using the push+heavy1+heavy2+repeat combo of Axe+Shield, it has GREAT CC capability, really great cleave and decent dmg for hordes. I NEVER die when I use that combo when playing with...well, any bardin career.
@@maboris yeah but the thing with this combo is you can just keep on doing it and you're pretty much invincible with hordes. But I suppose choco kinda wants to show off the grudgeraker as well :/
There's obviously differences between PC and console. I know everyone's aware of that, but I'm curious as to what most people's opinions would be in regards to builds and weaponry when playing on console. I see a lot of great concepts for builds online, but they're always geared towards PC and I'm wondering how well that'll translate. Some of the ones I've tried work really well and other ones seem to flop and I'm just trying to figure out if it's the HP difference. The horde frequency difference or if I'm just a terrible player. Any in all opinions are welcome as long as they're kind
I know this is a pretty old comment, but the "breakpoints" are different, aka, the power/stat values needed are different for things like 1 or 2 shot body/headshots, whether or not you can stagger certain enemies out of attacks, etc
@@danielsterling4918 no, it's no problem that it's an old comment and in fact I appreciate any responses that can help. So thank you!! Since I posted that some of the things I thought were real.... Turned out to be real. Not only was the information dad in mind but employees have posted about the fact that PC has larger numbers of enemies where console has higher HP and DP for enemies. I was really trying to find out if someone had a website with builds based on console players because every time I find any websites with builds they're for PC players and then those builds are subjected to the difference in HP and DP from the enemies. I am at this point aware of the break points but when I posted this I definitely wasn't lol. Again, thanks for reaching out to help. Things like that are always appreciated. Enjoy your gaming!
If you like shields and want a shit ton of thp and cc run hammer and shield and do the heavy heavy combo with drunken brawler. Great Axe is good fun with Drunken Brawler too
It's happened because packmaster was attacked by a gas rat. It's an old bug which affects all monsters (but ratogre/mino/spawn can totally ignore gas by doing combo attack).
I can barely manage on champion with 3 other peeps. So my question is How on earth are you doing this on Cataclysm when this supposed to be End of Times as it says in the difficulty select screen xD Man this is impressive

As much as I like the design of Grudgeraker I can never get it to work. What is the weapon even good for? Even looking at this video the weapon's damage seems rather pitiful, taking two shots to kill a Packmaster. What does this weapon do that a handgun, crossbow, etc. can't?
I like to think that in every successful solo run on cata, why the skaven and north landers bother when one Uberseik 5 member can single handedly take out an army
It's tough for true solo but works great in normal games. Every build has some sort of weakness. This excels at hordes/unarmored enemies with the grudgeraker and is good against elites with the axe+shield. Its weakness is specials. Also with a strength potion and ult, you can clear patrols. Keep in mind his breakpoints are off or built for something different and hunter is better than scrounger.
Yea it was strange but it looked like he was trying to use the monster and kill it after he got the cart in place. I suppose there would be more bosses spawning on cata? So having one rat ogre chase him through out level was better, maybe? I think he was in really good position to kill him when they were at the rising circular ramp cause there was infinite ammo and he could have been grinding him down without much effort. But I suck even on legend, so what do I know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ :-D
