I really thought we had this one in the bag in the 3rd period with a 3-2 lead until Mika showed up huge for yinz and delivered the game tying goal! Shesterkin was up and down all series but a complete team will find ways to pick each other up when key guys are struggling.. early in the series when Zibanijad wasn't playing his best other guys stepped up like Vatrano! It hurts to lose a series like this! It hurts like hell but I've seen a handful of cups in my lifetime literally (5) and you guys have a really loyal fanbase! I think winning this in 7, esp coming back the way we did is going to fuel us for a much deeper run than many me be expecting after this...i think Iggy settles down, Panarin/Mika take over coming opponents, and Tyler Motte's return has more impact than many may expect (though i cant help but feel like having Goodrow and even Blais could be the diff in the playoffs)
