I was there that day as a Falkirk supporter and they were buying up tickets meant for Falkirk fans and were in the same end as us which is something their fans were bad for all over other Scottish football grounds except for Celtics ground who made sure none of them got in the home end.
As big Yogi said "aye, it was a dump, but it was OUR DUMP!" Nothing was ever the same for me after the very last game at Brockville. The new stadium as nice as it is, can never replace what we had at Brockville. Some of the best times of my life was following Falkirk everywhere with a good bunch of lads. Sadly lost touch with most as we got married, raised families, moved out the area etc. "Social media" hadn't exploded onto the scene yet so if you lost a phone number it was difficult to get back in touch. Anyhoo.....great memories next to the telephone pole at the Hope Street end, in Tropix before and after the game, . I hope all the troops are still happy and healthy. C.O.Y.B. 😊🙏❤
