The coverage of the Scottish game is poor as it is, especially in comparison to how BT presented the product. Secondly you have someone like Kris Boyd whose only input is to court controversy with farcical views. I understand we need representation on both sides of the Glasgow divide, but there are plenty of broadcasters of a Rangers persuasion out there that could add so much more than him. He is a real turn off. I can’t say I’m a huge Chris Sutton fan but at least we get a professional in sight to the game and he champions Scottish football more than anyone. Also, when Celtic aren’t performing to their levels, like this season, he is the first one to fire both barrells and rightly so.
