Rangers are gonna have to start taking advantage of walks and with the bases loaded. Their numbers this year with the bases juiced are not very good and thats a real concern as qe reach the end of July and into August. The pitching has been good for the most part but the bats need to start picking up the slack. Yes both Semien and Seager are getting hot at the right time but the others have to wake up and start having consistent at bats. The trade deadline is coming up too and we all know that Chris Young is gonna have to decide that he wants to do with the current roster. To me this team desperately needs Josh Jung back in the worst way so it can balanced out the lineup. I think when Jung and Carter come back off the IL, the lineuo should be more consistent I believe. This is what it could look like if those guys come back from injury: 2B Marcus Semien SS Corey Seager 3B Josh Jung 1B Nathaniel Lowe RF Adolis Garcia DH Josh Smith LF Wyatt Langford C Jonah Heim CF Evan Carter I think Taveras is becomes more expendable also and you have to consider moving him for at least another bat if you dont believe that Josh Smith can play DH everyday. To me personally I would check in with the A's and see what they want for Brent Rooker or maybe go to Toronto and see what they want for Vlad Jr. The farm system for the Rangers is still in good shape so I dont think it would take much to get a trade done for either one of those guys. Then all of the sudden, your lineup looks more balanced than what it is now. For me it looks like they both touched the bag at the same time, however, the first base umpire called it in favor of the Rangers,now in the event there is no convincing evidence to overturn the call, the call in the field should prevail.
