I did have as high of an EX level on Hyoh, Taivas, or Roca. So I swapped Taivas for my EX3 Ibarra, loaded Hyoh up on LB gauge fill rate/fill so he'd be maxed LB by turn 4, and used Roca for the LB Damage field on turn 2 instead of Taivas. Worked out well, got rank 1, thanks for the strat!
Is any of the equipment from this event useful in the future? Even Ulric's Kukur +4? I can understand the killer ability being the most worth it. But I just don't feel like putting effort in for usless items.
side question: Do you have an updated generalized OTK team for the early parts of vision world and dark visions now? something seems to have changed with my old one and it's not showing the proper number of effective attacks for a reason I can't seem to figure out.
try it! even weak ex3 units hit harder than strong ex1 so my guess is no. I downloaded sinzar's spreadsheet and modified it to put in the top units as ex2 or ex1 units because none of my are ex3 and it's not pretty. I would have to check to make sure but for example an ex3 2b I think is stronger than any of the ex1 units that are better than it and most of the ex2s. You normally get a huge static boost of 500 or 1000 at ex2 and then the vision card at ex3 along with better stats.
Well, despite the stupid glitch that makes my Duane LB hit for 0 damage for whatever reason I still managed to score rank 1 with a similar strat as this one. He was my original replacement for Taivas, but I ended up using Deva Akstar instead and his Quadcast Devastating Slash. The only difference is that I bursted on turn 5 using Melissa 400% stat boost on Hyoh (probably can be done on turn 4 as well, if you have her at EX3 and uses her SLB to lower her own cooldown on turn 2 and the Abyssal inbue on turn 3). And the killers buffs on both Hyoh and Akstar. With that Hyoh can possible cap 9.99b damage, as mine with almost round 18k ATK managed to dish 9,1b by himself. Also, even though my Deva Akstar only had 15k atk, he still managed to hit for 6.4b. My EX1 Voidmage Roca only has 12k MAG and no 150% amp, so she can only do about 2.1~3.2b. And my EX2 Aya can only reach around 15500ATK with the gear I have available and hit around 4.5~5.5b And finally Ellesperis with 14kATK and DV Large Sword can dish around 3.5b. I managed to clear the fight a little over 27b total damage. I assume that if people replaces Taivas or Akstar with BV Ibara it is a even rasier clear.
i have melissa roca ellisperis hyoh aya brea but dartk only gives me 5 b damage because all my guys are ex1 or ex2. the light build gets me up with 14b and is way closer just because I have more ex levels in light.
melissa is ex 2 roca ex 2 ellesperes ex 1 hyoh ex1 aya brea ex 2. Long time vet. my ex 3 units are 2b, tsukiko, genesis, ace, A2, flaring aether rain. This is an easy rank 1 for whales. By the time my units go ex3 from the shard dungeon they are always power crept. I'm pretty happy my genesis is still good, he just got to ex3. My best build will have to be fire because I can get my genesis to 10b and rain can still hit pretty hard. I also have true king noctis but have to wait until he gets to ex2 because ex1 has no amplify. Actually . . . true king noctis is such a great leader, I think i'll try a light party, ex3 2b, ex2 richt ex3 flaring aether rain, tsukiko. and ex1 noctis. Onlly 25b might be possible.
@@APlaceNtheWoods I already started on doing that recently but I won't have time before DV ends. I've had Tactics (Ramza, Agrias, Orlandeau)A2, and Hyoh in the mission dungeon. I know A2 isn't worth but she's like 15 frags away from 3/3 now when I've had her in there since being 1/3. I was planning on pulling on Noctis banner for at least one copy of him and Taivas so I can bring Taivas to 2/3
Not sure if it is a bug in my account/device or a general bug in this particular fight/update, but my Duane damage doesn't seem to be registering correctly at all. Or at least he is not being affected by stat buffs and elemental imbues. All the runs I did, he deals like 40k damage and one particular run he literally did 0 damage. Wtf is this? Can someone who has Duane test and give me feedback to see if the game is also broken to everyone else or it is just for me?
Yeah, it seems like some or every hit of his LB are not registering at all under some circumstance. All that is left to know is if this is only happening in my game, or if it is a general bug.
Bruh this is a Dark team... Simple put a Blade of Vengeance Ibara or Duane on his place if you have them, to just support chain LB burst and finish and you should be good. Maybe even Rinoa and Edea will suffice.
Did 30.7b with EX3 Sylvie, EX2 Esper Taivas, EX3 2B, EX1(!) Ellesperis, EX1(!) Esper Neilikka and EX3 Richt. Using EX1 units in a rank 1 clear feels odd, maybe this VW is really easy hahaha
.......... 25 billion being an easy score to get for Veterans.... T'is to laugh Sinzar. More like the players that focused only on getting the Global original units. I'm a Veteran and ever since gumi changed the score, I haven't achieved rank 1 in the Vision worlds. I'm going to revist your JP clear to see if I get lucky lol.
