I think this video is proof that feints are truly readable. All you need is single-digit ping with fiber internet, a 500 hz monitor, an unholy monster of a pc to keep up with that monitor, and a keyboard with all its keys remapped to 's.' Dragging advocates really need to quit their complaining and just get good.

I actually showed this game and chiv to a WoW streamer the other day cause he was talking about how high skill cap of a game WoW is.... and i was telling him he should try a game like this that basically has infinite skill cap and therefore higher than WoW. Dude got so pressed and angry he not only tried making fun of the game while having no argument against its higher skill cap... he also then banned me from his channel. The only reason I quit is because the maps were bad/lacking and NA is impossible to play seriously on, resulting in you gambling all your parries even with easy reads because if you hard read too well it just won't go through. Other than that I don't know why people had a problem with the game.

Well, arena shooters are outdated and that's why it's a dead genre. Team Fortress 2 is the closest you got to a relatively alive arena shooter style of gameplay. But i'd rather stick with this.

what is this one handed malarchy, press q morph same swing, gone are the days of swing manip and classic fw, ducks, crazy swings and shit talk head games. I miss mor before we all decided we needed the optimum setup to compete. randomize weapons in the comp scene, give 10 seconds for a pre round gameplan and let the players use their heads to come to a win.

2:08 on NA most of the players are on US central because each individual region is so dead its easier for everyone to just meet in the middle. that means most players have 60-100 ping which isnt the worst, but it doesnt feel as good as 20-40 ping

Hey I heard you're the best player. I started playing this game recently (30 hours). I come from a fighting game background (masters SF6). Really enjoying Mordhau. I think there is a huge skill ceiling in the game which is why I am interested. I've been doing a lot of research and I think the game has a lot of depth. Anyways, I'm surprised by the comment section. First of all, what is a reader? All I see is your opponent being predictive by spamming a feign before they attack. Now I understand Mordhau doesn't have frame data and that you guys call it "Initiative" or something like that, but if we're looking at this from a frame advantage perspective, technically they should give up their initiative the moment they go into a feign from a parry. As long as you do an accelerated swing after their feign, you should always take the initiative. Worst case scenario is that they parry you swing and you start over again. I do not see an issue with spamming feigns and I actually think it is a good thing considering how generous this game is with stamina. I played For Honor when it first came out and I think you can only feign like 3 times before you get exhausted. Players should be chaining multiple feigns and spending their stamina to open up their opponent or mix them up. My two cents from a silver noob
