Yh I wanna say blood money is my favourite because it was my first hitman gsme but no way the new games have improved upon everything.When new games of series are that much better than the old ones you know that the makers know what they are doing.

That was the intention. Linear gameplay and cutscenes. Unfortunately it failed. Thankfully, they recouped and went back to the proper Hitman formula with the WOA trilogy.
I liked it because of the story. The main issue for me was a lot of those levels were getting from one place to another without being caught. That's not really the point of Hitman games.
@@bluejays25 it was also mostly about hiding from cops than blending into the crowd and eliminating your target without anyone suspecting you. Sure there some levels that are exactly that like chinatown level but still
I honestly think Contracts is the GOAT. It’s so fucking dark and eerie that it sends a chill down your spine when you’re playing it. And that soundtrack… oh that soundtrack…

It was my first hitman game, I was 11 and wanted to play hitman so i looked on the disc games shelf in my home and saw hitman absolution for PS3. Played the hell outta it.
Hitman Blood Money is truly the best. The startled feeling of being discovered and a gunshot going off while you're working secretly is something you won't find in the next Hitman parts. So yea, HitMan Blood Money is the G.O.A.T
I don't see anything special about blood money and don't understand the hype about it I preferred absolution more and my favorite one was silent assassin
@@zakidjellouli2682 it was the first one to have distractions and you could take someone hostage to use as a human shield, and it really broadened the ways you could take someone out. The rehab resort was such a fun level, you had like 30 ways to eliminate each target and had the option to save agent Smith once again
By far one of my favorite levels, and one of my favorite speedruns. That level was too good. You can spend more time playing Berlin than youll spend on entire campaigns in TripleA games
That’s pretty fair but regardless making an average (at best) game like Absolution off the back of an already existing and largely successful IP with a relatively large and loyal fanbase like Hitman’s was a huge waste of potential that ultimately set the entire franchise back quite a bit and should be considered a failure in the wider context of the series’s development. There’s probably still a few people out there who haven’t played the new Hitman trilogy because they played Absolution and either didn’t like it or just thought it was kinda mid and aren’t really interested in any new Hitman games because of it. Personally Hitman is my favourite game series of all time and even I only began playing the new trilogy pretty recently despite it being out for years because I didn’t feel like paying for/playing another game like Absolution.

hit man is one of those games I never seen being bad no big changes that ruin the game new maps new targets it’s like the first hit man game but with big dlcs

@@justacuppa32g Well, no movie is 100% accurate to any source material. This movie which was based on the game is more accurate and did justice than other movies based on games. Plus the new trilogy of hitman games really sucked too storywise and how bright, colorful, soulless it was compared to older ones
Hitman absolution is alright ...are you kidding meeh ...it's the part that not only took Hitman graphics to next level ..and man the story and villains and levels...still remembering the escaping from police level ..it's a great game ❤️❤️❤️
It completely ignores everything that makes hitman great, it's not a good game, it can be fun, but to say it's on the same level as the others in terms of design I just don't think is true

Seeing all the references to the past I. Hitman 3, like the mention of Caruso in Mendoza, or the progression of Orson as he keeps showing up, makes it all tie back together. Or at least for me
The new Hitman games are as the short describes perfect, they’re probably the best and funniest games in the series, I still laugh at the electric chair kill in the murder mystery level in Hitman 3 because that photo is just so good
I loved Absolution, then again it was my first Hitman game I played to completion, so I'm probably biased. 47's one-liner at the end sticks with me to this day.
Blood money is king in my book. I know it’s probably just nostalgic bias but damn was that a fantastic game. The weapon customization, the story, locations, targets, newspaper pages at the end of a mission. Just fabulous
In my opinion, the best in order are: - Silent Assassin (Gripping story from start to finish, always felt on edge & probably the one Hitman game in which you the Hunter felt hunted too which made for an exceptional thrilling experience throughout). - Codename 47 (Yes, because it was ahead of it’s time, way way ahead of games in 2000 & the story is brilliant!) - Blood Money - Absolution - Contracts (ranked last because of the use of redoing some old missions but great nontheless. The new one’s are all masterpieces too but it would be unfair to rank them in the same group as the originals.
I don't think it's unfair to rank the new games with the old ones, honestly. I think Hitman 3 is the best Hitman game, but Hitman 2 and Hitman all have places they fit in. Hitman 2 isn't as good as Silent Assassin but I think it's better than Codename 47, and same with Hitman if for no other reason than its gorgeous cutscenes and Providence.
Here's a hint from a guy who just started playing ABSOLUTION in 2024. If your tired of having to watch the movies before the levels, just hold circle after the bar code goes away. I was getting annoyed by having to rewatch these long cinema scenes and i tried every button... Lol Not until level 8 i found out you can just press or hold circle O, and your in the game mode.
Nah nah Hitman: Absolution was amazing. People disliked it because it was more linear than the others. Which I understand, people wanted more of a rpg/open world game. But you can't deny that Absolution had good chapters and mechanics. Definitely my favorite in the franchise.
It's not that it was linear, for me at least, it just felt like a generic action game. They were clearly inspired by the change in direction with Splinter Cell and tried to do what ubisoft did. Wasn't what most fans wanted from a Hitman game.
IOI making 007; just the perfect choice really It will be interesting to see how they tackle a more action oriented game design approach, but having Super Villain targets in massive bosses, using the Hitman disguise system, it's literally perfect.
I haven't played the last 3 ones but I've played Hitman since Codename and this is one of the few sagas that doesn't have a blunder. That's...quite appropriate for 47, who never misses a target.
Hit man 2 with all the hitman locations was the best and probably one of the most interactive and complex games I’ve ever played it’s crazy how much you can do and with what and how it distract people and put them in specific locations
I GREW UP with Contract and Silent assassin. Played since I was 6. My dad used to play them and I was watching him, slowly learning how to play too. Now, after years I reinstalled them and they're still absolutely beautiful.
I'm getting nostalgic, but i love how io interactive gives us amazing hitman games for 20 years now. You remember every one of them if you played and mastered it. Thats really different approach to, for example, ubisoft's assassins creed that published new games each year or two
Hitman is my favourite game series. Including the movies too. Well I watched Agent 47 movie and it's not that horrible or bad. I mean I know those movies are not stealth. But the reason it isn't a stealth movie because it will be boring then
The universe for Hitman World of Assassination is amazing. I love how all 3 games are connected, and all the world building between them. I’ve sunk close to 1.5k hours playing all the locations and all the content that’s been made available. Shit is tits!
ALL Hitman games are good, even the older ones (they are good from the time they were released) but Blood Money and The WOA are both in the league of their own. IO really outdid themselves on BM and WOA. It will be a while before we get another entry but I'm glad that the WOA is still getting updates here and there.
I feel like HITMAN 2016 was better in some ways than 2 or 3, like it would allow you to get frisked even if you had illegal items on you, now the game doesn’t even let you which imo takes away some of the realism
Codename 47 and Silent Assasins are the best in my opinon.. Soundtracks, gameplay, everything fitted perfectly.. It brings me back so much memories when i was a kid.❤
