This fact is a very large percentage of the reason I am subscribed. Im too lazy to do it, so I can only hope that someone will someday make a compilation of all of his charm promotion transitions.
For match 2, IMO it seems like the guy knows the map. The first wallbang attempt on oryx seemed like he was aiming for the door, the second one on Nokk, there were some yellow pings so he could've had intel that there was someone walking down the hall. The thermite i think was coincidence, he heard the Finka self res but she didn't peak so the accused shot at the door. Maybe to get Finka if she was walking out. For the shot on the plant, its a bit more suspicious, but if there's intel that someone was at door and then could hear the plant so soon, it wouldnt be silly to prefire through the couch. It could be that he shoots near players a lot so when he does get accused he can say he tries for wallbangs a lot and just got lucky. I think there were too many opportunities that he missed and deaths he could've avoided if he was cheating.
While I agree with you on most of your points, to say that someone that lost "knows the map" makes me worry about the general knowledge of players in this game.
i gonna be honest i was in the stream for this hacker replay and i watched this episode again for half a hour and didnt realize i already seen it thats how good the content is
The guy in match 2 might be an old player returning. He can aim and prefire but he is lost which shows he doesn’t know the map. His tap firing indicates he used semi-auto.
if they want to nerf nades just make it to where it only does 15 or 20/30 damage when the blast his the enemy through a soft surface, to me thats what makes nades so op is being able to 1 shot operators with 100/110 health through the objective floor.
31:30 i think a decent-ish way to disclose that a player's name is a nickname/streamer mode name is to just add a small symbol (like the ubisoft/xbox/ps logos maybe) or something along those lines
23:15, the shooting pattern the tap firing I am convinced it just to control recoil better because they probably don't know the recoil patterns of weapons because they can't control their recoil without everything helping them like a flash hider/compensator etc even though they have a foregrip on the gun.
If youre in game and you block someone with streamer mode on the streamer mode name goes away and you can see their real name in your blocked users list. Super helpful to check sus players in matches.
Can we point out how beastly that nomad was in round 1? Taking out 3 blatant cheaters back to back. Also i use streamer mode names because they're funny. I'm currently TurkyFckr🤣
I use streamermode...I use my name in other games too, so don't wanna change it but there is German in it and German Siege players often became suuuuper toxic in the past when they learnt you speak German too (tking on purpose, insulting you, destroying your gadgets etc.) What ubisoft could do is that in replays the streamermode name doesn't show up but their real username

This isnt meant to be patronizing, just a thought process of newer players with less map knowledge like myself! Not a defense either, he's not new. "assisted empathy" I guess?
I started playing again recently and my first 2 games of standard had a full-on rage hacker. The new streamer mode means you can't even see if someone's profile is new/see their stats. I guess Siege is ruined :(
I wonder how people end up with hackers. I've played on both console and PC but only ran through one hacker if I remember on my first PC match but after that I haven't found any
During last season and this season the hackers have just exploded. Its not even a comparison to prior seasons. What really sucks is that I’d rather deal with the old ddosers than those fools with Aimbot and walls.
If you have R6 Tracker downloaded onto your then you can find out their real Ubisoft Connect names, and you have to have R6 Tracker open when you're in the match in order for that info to be seen.
the match 2 is how i imagine how i look while playing, been playing since operation health in year 2 i think, but that was controller, now i just switched to mnk and that made my positioning ass cause i think of mnk mechanical skill rather than having game sense. so i got really good siege knowledge and game sense but i potato out for a few minutes just concentrating on my keyboard, and i get a bit of wallbang kills, BUT this guy def seems weird, he doesnt try to wall bang much but when he does he gets tooo close to hitting the person, me you can tell its a guess cause i dont get that close everytime i shoot a wall.
What if they release another gadget and its a frag that's already cooked. Basically an impact but the damage and radius of a frag. Or new operators ability
FYI the bans mean nothing....I am in Diamond/Champ lobbies and sometimes teams mess around and do weird bans. It's still a game lol the other day a team banned glaz and lesion.
The griddy is a dance that jamar chase and Justin jefferson do when they score a touchdown. More justin jefferson than jamar, JJ did it in the nfl first lol.
Fortnites streamer mode names are better because at the end of the game it tells u their name (If they win and ur still watching them), aswell as showing u their name in replay. Streamer names work differently bc its a br and not a fps game where it shows all of the names
tbh the second match, i take a lot of shots trough walls, ammo is free why not take the shot every time you are just a little suspicious, specially if you are on site and they already know you are there, first time heard oryx walk and shot at the door on the other room, second time heard thermite run and shoot at the door on the other room, i've run outta ammo in some matches for taking those shots
3rd wall bang in match 2 might not be sus because looks like someone got trapped in frost trap so it would make sense for him to shoot the wall thinking he was going to retreat I think the fact he almost hit the other guy is purely just coincidence
ok when varsity says thats not a common plant spot i find that to be completely wrong. thats like default plant up till plat on xbox. so like i would prefire the same thing if i had that intel. obviously different platforms are different but this could jus be a kid from xbox or playstation. but that is most def a popular plant spot lol
I have a 20% game rate of not "full on knowing" there are cheaters, meaning 80% percent of my games there is an obvious cheater, there may be more, but 80% of "full on obvious" cheaters is insane.
(Match 1) I don’t think it matters if a cheater is telling someone where everyone is at, if it’s clear they are all playing together it should be handled like DayZ and other games where they all should be banned for playing with cheaters even if one of them isn’t “cheating”👌 And by them all having the same name I would conclude they always play together🤷♂️
I can tell you how sad it is, when people who can't even get gold just wanna platinum trophy to add to a collection and never touch the game again, sad asf
Match 2 at 19:19 makes me think bad player with walls he looks at cav and the aruni and waits, oryx was cruched but could probably be heard. But definitely lined people up through walls from what i saw. I think him being a bad player not knowing how to play makes it look less sus but it is sus.
At 22:07 I think he's so bad he can't control the recoil that's why he does the light burst fire instead. That way he doesn't need aimbot and look less sus.
2.00 the cavs kills. I play on xbox and thats not strange ads before you peek and try predict where their head or torso would be ive done this more times than i can count and if i could prove im not cheating i would but im only in yt comments
The fact that he has a diamond background does not mean the 5 stack is diamond. I play with a 5 stack of golds. You wanna know how many diamonds and champs I see on the enemy team.
@VarsityGaming im glad as a full time content creator it bugs you too. Ive put 100 hours into the game since ive been back after multiple years gone. And the game at is core is still fun in a team play strategic aspect. But if youre not in a 3-5 stack its abysmal
if by cheaters on console you mean xim, probably. But if you mean actual cheats then no, same with PC. You only need 5% of the total population to cheat to encounter a cheater every other game. It's not that many people that cheat
having a cheater at your team whit your same name is great, ubi can ban the hole team and say, we have proof that the guy whit your name is cheating... if they appeal ubi can say like, why couldnt get the exact number after the name or just use the safe way and ban by boosting
I have a recommendation: Deeper dives. For players that are undetermined, they get reviewed again - say, the week after. This will require submitters to put the names of the cheaters in the file names, though, to make searching simple.
the past week or two it seems like word must have gotten out about cheats being ez again. Probably gonna put the game down for the rest of season and hope they turn the anticheat back on. Stuff really did seem to be getting better, but it looks like we are headed back to the days of insane cheats and nothing being done about it. I love siege but this stuff ruins the game for me. oh well back to battle bit!
1. Definitely cheating. 2.I don't think match 2 is a cheater, all 3 spots he fired at are common, and he may have had some type of callouts in game. I do think the wall shots look odd, but he also doesn't hit a single bullet on ANY of those bursts, I'd imagine a dude with walls would either kill, or hit a least one of his shots. You can argue he was trying to hide it, but if he was trying to hide it, why would you take the shots at all? If anything, I feel like he has a cheater in the lobby giving call outs, but he himself is not cheating. 3. I agree he's cheating, but there are times where I'll adjust my hand, or do something while playing, and ill spin. No defense, dude is definitely completely sus. 4. Doesn't look like a cheater to me. 5. Doesn't seem like cheater. 6. Cheater Response To The Grenades thing: I think they should keep nade cooking, but once the pin is pulled you cannot put it back or reset. This would go inline with removing reload canceling. So ultimately you only get one chance with the nade.
Does anyone else immediately go to the start of each match to see if A) they're in the lobby or B) they know anyone in the lobby? One of these times I'm gonna get destroyed by a cheater and have the pleasure of VG spectating me getting absolutely blasted.
