Sounds like you haven’t heard of the lion man eating stories. There was one single lion that killed about 130 people before they finally managed to hunt it down. See lions have been documented doing something tigers very rarely do and that’s specialising. The lion I mentioned in Kenya had a broken tooth so couldn’t hunt big game, we don’t how or when but at some point it started going after people to feed and figure out that it hunting us is the easiest thing in the world. That lion literally went into a village at night, fell through the roof of a hut and dragged a poor dude into the night without anyone able to do a thing. And it would do this pretty much every other night or so. There was also the case of when the British constructed a railway and construction had to come to halt because an entire pride was hunting the workers and they weren’t willing to work anymore. Tigers to my knowledge are much more opportunistic while lions will often specialise in certain preys and get very good at hunting them. So usually if a wild lion starts going after people you have to hunt it because it will not stop until its life expired and if its a pride then oh boy

Absolutely not. So yo account for hear say Id say the actual number is probably around 100 similar to the lion I mentioned and again that lion stopped there cause they found it which actually took a really long time to do and it would have continued until it died or got killed so it could have easily reached the 500s had it not been caught. I remember that story was scary cause not only that lion got as bold as breaking into huts at night dragging people put while the rest watched and yet they sent I don’t know how many hunters after it that lion was impossible to find. Meaning it wasn’t just good at hunting but also at avoiding hunters, I wouldn’t want to less with that lion 😂 not that’d Id want to mess with a tiger either 😂 same outcome really

Unlike Lions, The Bengal Tigers actively go out of their range to human villages and hunt humans. Specially old tigers. They see us as easy food source. It got to the point that people started wearing masks behind their head just so the tiger thinks its being watched and do not stalk people.
@sulemanhaider1305

The face mask is a very old technique, and it's not restricted to Bengal tigers. Plus, Bengal tigers don't usually see humans as prey, just as a last resort, because humans don't provide enough food for the tigers.
@riadhussain428

@@sulemanhaider1305 Facemask might be old technic. But Tigers specially in the Sundarbans do see human as a food source. Because its not only weak and old tigers but also young and powerful tigers also hunt humans. Tigers realised that humans aren't really fast and can't really cause much damage to them. So it does not take much of their energy to hunt us. Which is why even healthy tigers raid human villages from time to time. But they mostly hunt humans when they venture into their territory. There have a news few months ago that an adult male tiger attacked two fishermans. They weren't even in the land. They were in rivers, on a boat. Still Tiger attacked and killed them. dangerous and deadly mean two very different things when talking about wildlife attacks. I learnt this when I received a talk about snakes in school. Here in Australia our snakes pretty much make up the top ten most deadliest snakes but we do not have the most dangerous snakes. I am from Nepal. People from the hills have started migrating to the plains and cities making what used to be villages to becomes forested. This has caused leopards to frequently roam the villages and attack dogs and livestock. I remember my uncle saying leopard attacked 6-7 dogs in a month.. Luckily no humans attack has happened. In rural hilly areas, lack of human activity is to blame for leopard attack quite contrary to to other places. And I see useless arguments in the internet claiming dogs are stronger than leopard, no they aren't. Leopard is a killing machine, a mini tiger. leopard even came to inside my relative's room where he was sleeping chasing his pet dog and managed to take the dog. Due to less people and many villages heavily forested monkeys, ghorals, leopards even peacocks are thriving.

The dog only surpasses the leopard in strength if the size difference is enormous. A dog weighing around or above 70 kg would beat a 30 kg leopard, and the size variation of leopards is so great that adult populations with specimens of this weight are possible.

Well, the animal's temperament influences more than the animals' strength in this case. A leopard is more likely to attack you than any of these cats. And I don't think the bite force makes any difference, any of those big cats can kill you easily. And all these big cats can pierce the skull of their victims if they wish, but they will prefer the neck, anyway their death would be quick and certain. And essentially, the jaguar's bite is weaker than the tiger's and lion's bite.

There are two big cats that are not members of the genus Panthera: cheetah and cougars (AKA mountain lion or puma). They are still considered big cats, however. If you included these two, Cheetahs would be tied with snow leopard because there have been no reported cases of attacks on humans. Cougars would be #3 behind lions and tigers. I'm curious why you didn't include those two big cats.

They're said to have a diet of something like 85 species in the Amazon. Seeing videos of them merking Caymans is wild. Tigers are definitely larger and stronger, but jaguars seems much more skilled and lethal on the hunt.

There's also the fat that leopards are extremely elusive and would rather run away from humans and most attacks take place for one of three reasons either hunger due to a wound, they feel cornered/threatened or their territory encompasses a city in witch case children and pets are the only prey items they can find like in Mumbai but even then they tend to hunt feral dogs mostly

I find it interesting how the large cats of the Americas don’t really prey on humans to extent that cats of Asia do. Tigers, despite having a lower population than jaguars, have attack humans far more than jaguars have. And while I’m there are attacks that go unnoticed within tribes in South America, I still think it would still be lower than tiger attacks.

A pack of Lions is definitely more dangerous than a Tiger but in terms of aggressiveness think the Tiger is a bit more dangerous. There are also strong rumors of man-eating leopards from a couple decades ago. As the story goes, leopards would feast off of the dead bodies of soldiers from the civil wars going on in Africa, and they developed a taste for human flesh. After the wars ended and there were no more bodies for them to consume, the began to track down a hunt live humans, taking them from their sleep.
