The fact that you didn't put tracks in the same spot as other RU-vidrs makes this more believable. YOU EVEN PUT FAN FAVORITES DRAMATICALLY LOWER 😂😂😂 Something I respect
THANK YOU for what you said about N64 Rainbow Road. I’m so tired of people saying that it’s to short when if it was three laps it would get boring after the first one.
I think making N64 Rainbow Road a 2-lap track in 8 would've been a fine change while also letting the great big band arrangement wash over you a bit longer, let you take it all in more
I loved your opinions, this is the first ranking I’ve watched that feels truly objective, evaluating tracks on how good they are by themselves and not nostalgia. I also feel that, despite being good tracks, most wii BCP tracks have been ruined in many ways and would’ve been excellent if remastered in original 8
Having such a quality vid with so few subscribers is a crime. Nice ranking, I used the exact same criterias to make my own: how much my ears, my eyes and my hands like every course. Cheers.
@@RedLionKNC I assume multiple things. its a nightmare on 200 (especially for inside drift bikes), for a lot it looks to artificial and some probably wanted more a rollercoaster type of track to show of more the anti gravity like dragon driftway does. Funny enough when you exit the second gliding section and you look down the entire track is curved. Also Nintendo needs to try out different things. It would become repetitive otherwise.
I 100% understand putting Sky High Sundae in last. That course is painful and it hurts my eyes. Also thank you for being one of those few people who don’t put Toad Circuit in dead last. But putting 8 Rainbow Road above 7 Rainbow Road is criminal.
One thing I’ve never understood is why most people seem to hate desert tracks and levels. And nobody seems to ever be able to explain exactly why. Maybe it’s because where I live I get lots of snow and deserts are very alien to me but growing up desert levels were always some of my favourites. (They also usually have fantastic music)
Personally, and I’m not too sure why, they tend to make me feel VERY nauseous or give me a migraine. I also don’t really like the typical color palette of just yellow. It makes theme feel very samey and overall boring to look at
Oh, yeah, I just remembered about the heatwave effect that’s usually in desert levels. I think that’s why they make me nauseous; I have TERRIBLE motion sickness 😭
I loved your video! It's so refreshing to hear someone with a different opinion that doesn't just constantly praise Waluigi Pinball for what feels just like mere complacency to sticking to what's the trendy opinion🙏🏼I had a great two hours. Thanks. Also, the visual contrast between the Booster Course pass entries and the base 8 tracks is really... not good, 95% of the time. I will forever be mad that Shroom Ridge, Koopa Cape and Rock, Rock Mountain did not get the visual respect they deserve, tbh.
@@didrxnx5089 I literally mean the way your brain nodes connect ideas is funny in a sort of autistic way. The best example i think is stuff like your comment on the moon. I can’t even start to understand how your brain prioritized those points. It’s fun tho
every day that passes without schafrillas releasing his video I find a new one respect that you definetely didn't join up the discourse, fresh takes mate
Your ‘windows’ error sounds at random on this video are so jarring, which make watching your videos difficult. Otherwise, what I did watch was cool. Thanks for sharing.
Everything I said in the video is why I hate it...If you design a course in which not even the CPUS can handle in 150CC. Then its not a skill issue, its a course issue
do you plan to make more videos on mario kart 8 deluxe? i see you haven't uploaded in a year other than this and none of them were mario kart. if you plan to do more mario kart stuff i'm definitely dropping a sub! super underrated!
to be honest I have no clue. I'm just kinda making videos on things I wanna make videos on. I know im currently doing a pokemon LP next...after that I don't know what next.
I feel like you bring some really good points for the tracks you do like, but some terrible ones for the tracks you don't. For example, the pinballs in waluigi pinball do come very commonly, theyre just less adapted to 200cc pacing. The item boxes also do the jingle from the DS. Doesn't mean I like the course myself, just wanted to point that out.
Valid point, I did rank all of these based on how they play in 150 and 200cc but I also feel if they wanted to implement 200cc effectively they should've also adapted mechanics to that fast pace. But yeah I can see where my critique is flawed
Before making my list I watched a bunch of people. He was one that I saw a couple vids on. As well as Nathaniel Bandy, Albert Boris, Nin10doland. I was surprised that he was the only one who thought the same exact thing as me and wasn't impressed with 3DS rainbow road so yeah.
Toad circuit is at least a playable course in which im not bumping into a wall every 5 seconds. I have never understood why people enjoy Ninja Hideaway so much.
Every time I watch one of these rankings I just skip to the end to see if 7 Rainbow Road is in the top five. Because if it isn’t you opinions are trash and I won’t waste my life listening to an hour of them. I’m only half joking
Fair enough, but the thing with saying that the road is just blue, I think that you might have some kind of color blindness. I’m not saying that as an insult, I’m being sincere, I look at that and see the full rainbow, if you just see blue it might be because your eyes can’t distinguish the different colors properly. You should take a free online test real quick and if I’m wrong I’ll just go fuck myself
@@KingustheDingus Nope. Im standing down on my statement. Play Mk7 rainbow Road and look at the road, then play any other rainbow road in that game and to me there's a clear difference. It feels like they created the rainbow then added a blue layer after it.
