I have the kaboom, I'd argue that it's in the stronger side of medium. It just continues thru the pins like nothing. Just don't use it on dry lanes, one of my local alleys doesn't maintain their lanes and it is impossible to control the hook on them but it's perfect for every other alley.
For my medium slots in my bag. I currently have the road, axiom pearl, and I’m looking at an optimum idol. Are my medium slots good? And what should I put where?
The ball I have as my medium/sharp option is the Rotogrip Duo. It's good, but not as versatile as I would like. It is good until it isn't. What are your thoughts?

I had to hit my crypto boom with 2k to start seeing reaction on it. out of the box its crazy over under on reaction for me as a 2 hander. Bought it on sale for $90 so no real love lost. 15-16mph ball speed 430-450 revs.
@@AwkwardShinobi-fs3zo Ill have a better opinion after tonight. tried the surface change this last weekend on the lighter oil my local spot puts down. I've really been chasing this one though to try and figure it out.
@@AwkwardShinobi-fs3zo no thumber? either way a stronger layout should help, use the PAL system. 3.5" depth holes help create asymmetry in the core. the PSO who drilled mine ignored me on this one and I think its contributing. I have equipment that is weaker in specs but I never have the over under I see with this ball because they were drilled with the PAL system.
Finally, a ball I disagree with you on is the Track Stealth Pearl. It was a pure boat anchor for me. Out of all the balls I bought and then re-sold, this was my most hated ball. I do have the Hyper and GB4 and I throw the Hyper way more than the GB4. I'm super glad I didn't pull the trigger on that Zen Gold Label.
@@kstark321 ball speed and revs on the stealth? I just don’t seem to get along with much symmetrical stuff. But for whatever reason my weak Hustle USA will hook for me everytime. Otherwise I stick with my strong Asym stuff and need something to fill the gap on medium strength sym.
I had the same experience with the stealth pearl. I hated it and got rid of it. I've never thrown a ball as over/under as this ball is. The second it hits friction it goes dead left, but god forbid it hits a single drop of oil and it's 50 feet before it even thinks about doing anything. Edit: Yes I tried multiple surface changes. Nothing looked good on it.
