The best thing about Splotter is that you can get a group of 5 Splotter heads and there will be no agreement on what their best game is, or even the order of the top 5. A powerfully diverse pair of designers.

I'd love to be a part of the Splotter Bowl 2024 World Championship. I can bring Antiquity, Cannes, VOC!, Pandemic: Rising Tide and a second copy of Oraklos from Toledo. I'm connected to a Splotter-playing group in Detroit and found\developed a number of Splotter players here in Toledo, to make it not just a World Championship, but a Lake Erie Championship. I can help develop Splotter Legacy 2025, where we play the games chronologically in terms of theme, and the outcome of one game determines the starting map of the next game - lots of pollution in Antiquity leads to starting with lots of desert in Roads and Boats... And I've been slowly working on an online version of Greed, Inc and debuting it at Splotter Bowl 24 would be good motivation to get it done.

Where's Antiquity?! Easily a contender for the top spot, such a brutal but incredible game. After our first game, my wife said she'll never play it again. I eventually convinced her to try it again and now it's her #1 game. Also, I know you love game upgrades and Antiquity has a BGG Geekup set

I heard the comment about x game can't be in my top ten because it is so big I can't table it enough, but I think that is silly. If you love that game and know it's good why does not playing it make the game go down, that isn't the games fault it's our fault for not playing it. The rules and mechanisms didn't change and it is still fun to play. Idk just a thing I don't get when it comes to that comment.

Of the Splotter games I’ve played, my order would be 1. Indonesia 2. Roads & Boats 3. Food Chain Magnate 4. Antiquity 5. Greed Inc. 6. Bus 7. The Great Zimbabwe 8. Duck Dealer I haven’t had a chance to play Horseless Carriage yet but will soon. Also this list almost always changes everyday, this is just how I feel about them right now.

Splotter Bowl... Do you mean you would literally invite someone if they made the trip to play Splotter games with y'all? Or whichever game is mentioned by us quacks the host who also has that game as their favorite "wins"? As far as why I'd be an asset if we are playing the actual games, I'd make the trip, I've played Bus 3-4 times and FCM once. I want to play more, but opportunities don't come up. I own R&B&E but haven't gotten to play it. I want to play Indonesia but don't know anyone who owns it. I really want to play Greed Inc. because the theme is ridiculous haha but again I don't know anyone who owns it. Not apposed to TGZ, Antiquity, Duck Dealer, or Horseless Carriage (would be surprised if people had some of their way obscure ones but D'raf is one I want to play) but they aren't as high as the other games.

Watch to the end of the video Rob... If I can continue my pitch for why I could be invited, I wouldn't be a threat as I said above I haven't played the other games enough to be one. I would do my own homework and watch videos and take notes (not strategy just notes on how to play) before the games. Not just for these games, but in general, I want to play twice as to go into the second game with a better understanding and a chance to try new tactics out. Example I and another guy agreed to learn Star Wars Rebellion with the expansion and meet up. We did and after the first game played again the next day. When I play a game for the first time I simply want to explore and at most pull off one big turn and I'm not stressed with being good at the game or winning. Lastly, I visit all the MLB stadiums and Progressive Field is one I have not visited yet so I could knock that off my list if Splotter Bowl happens around when the Royals visit, but I wouldn't go to a game if they weren't in town so it works both ways.

Totally agree. FCM is the worst! TGZ ...disagree, probably the best strategic and depth game with few simple rules ever. and Indonesia as you said is missing (and i haven't played as well)...otherwise it would be 1. Indonesia 2.TGZ 3.Bus ...then the rest. And Antiquity....dunno, first of all you can only play on Boardgamecore as the real game is a complete mess, totally not ergonomic, and still does not equal the top three. As always my personal opinion! Great job as always
