We live in a society where people get mad over the black heart being over darling dolly, yet no one bats an eye to howling spirit being higher than the cauldroness and desmodus 😭

I'm a nut for lore and when I noticed that Lucky Bottoms, Toothy, Poor George, and Mike all had the same background tent/carnival thing going on idk why I thought this, but I feel like they're connected. Maybe next season Spirit can bring that tent to stores as a little clown display with all of them in it. Plus, the addition of new animatronics, of course. And I agree, Dagger Mike is a pretty cool animatronic!

A word of warning for Emmeline or any other oversized item. I bought her online and she came defective. Spirit refused her return in store and they don't pay for return shipping. It cost me almost half what she cost just to send her back. Avoid this expensive mistake and ALWAYS buy those items in store!

I want to get the floating ghost...it has a real Scooby Doo vibe to it and is the most kid friendly piece I"ve seen this year. Wish they would do more like that.

I feel like the original Collector should get more praise.

What a crazy year for Spirit! Emmeline, Gourdo, Death Stalker, Darling Dolly, and Dagger Mike were definite standouts.

The Deathstalker reminds me a bit of the monsters in The Deadly Spawn.

Everyone knows I love Dolly! Also I have to agree with you on Stilts. I’m surprised hating him was an unpopular opinion.

Black Heart at number one was not expected but definitely a great pick he is massive in person

I would just like to say, Wicked Makers have a video where they bought the original sitting scare crow, modified it, only for Spirit to come out a year later with *their* "remake" that looks suspiciously like Wicked Makers' design.

Can’t wait for 20 to 30 years when the animatronics are able to walk and run at people to scare them

Do we even know Collector’s Minion is real? That could be the prototype of The Collector.

We live in a society where Home Depot is making higher quality animatronics than spirit Halloween even though spirit Halloween has more detail but very little facial expressions

As soon as I saw the video title, I knew you'd have collector's minion as the worst LOL.

I got Emmeline and she is absolutely intense! She jumps out like 5+ feet it’s ridiculous. She is extremely bulky but originally I didn’t think she was worth the money but I bought her off a “broken” pallet for 69.99 and I set her up and she was perfectly fine😃 thank god for her terrible directions 😂

My top five of this year is 5- eternal rest, I like the over all design the jumpscare isn’t scary just design and coolness 4-Emmeline, something used by Mr dark but also a pretty awesome jumpscare love it 3- The black heart, I like it all except for the dead body to uncanny for my type but still pretty awesome 2-creepy rising doll, I don’t like dolls never did but this remake is pretty awesome 1-Gourdo, at first didn’t think much about it saw it at stores in person when buying lil skelly bones and omg that thing made me crap my pants very decent jumpscare 👌

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but The Crypt Keeper animatronic has eyebrows. Bushy ones, at that. Growing up watching the show, he never had them. It looks funny 🤣 Bonus add in, the rings on Slims arms aren’t the right color. They’re turquoise in the movie.

Hello, big fan of your channel. I just wanted to say that the novelty behind the crypt keeper is that it was one of the first ever licensed halloween animatronic for retail purchase. It was released to pay homage to the og prop from 1996.

Probably My all time 2023 favorite is The Black heart EMMELINE And Hell Spawn

Honestly I can’t really decide what is my favorite, there are so many good animatronics this year!

Tbe teaser for Deathstalker definitely messed with my mind a bit because I thought he was going to be a reptile monster.

I personally would've had hell spawn higher. The "get out of my grave yard" audio doesn't bother me at all, even if it doesn't seem like a perfect fit for the nature of the prop. I bought him, surrounded him by tomb stones, and people absolutely jump out of their skin when they come up my driveway.

Even to this day, the comeback in 2023 is still jaw dropping

My top 3 are Darling Dolly, Death Stalker. Martian Warrior Emeline gets an honourable mention

I watch a channel called Wicked Makers. They made an animatronic redesign of the scarecrow before this one released. It look just like the one Spirit Released.

Heckles is so adorable to me I don’t have any animatronics but I really like them and want Heckles and Shorty 🤭 I think the alien was phenomenal and probably my favorite Ive seen in person he’s pretty cool

I agree with you on the creepy rising doll, I’m also a critic but it was pretty generic like you said. Audio was especially trash. Gordo looked great online but terrible in person! Little Jack was terrible I wouldn’t put him at one of the worst. Same with Dagger Mike, his jump scare was good but everyone I talked to who had him broke immediately! I hate the killer clowns I think they are so corny

Pretty solid list. However, I would have definitely put Slim higher on the list, as well as included Shorty. I think Shorty deserves top 5 just for how accurate and cooky it is. I also hated Darling Dolly so for me it would have been way lower on the list. I can agree with most of these choices though. It’s exciting to see new concepts that haven’t been done before and that year definitely gave us that.

Best lineup for the year tied with Home Depot I think Spirit made a huge jump form last year personally party city is the most disappointing lineup this year but yeah spirit I think did a Great 40th anniversary this year

Literally someone in my street has darling Dolly and I’m so jealous😭 but me and my dad have to put the other 40 for Halloween

I was disappointed in Spirits leatherface but I like his outfit and that the chainsaw blade moved. But I got the party city one it’s 100 times better!!

This year is fantastic for Spirit, there's some really amazing props and not so great props but what are you gonna do...

The black heart is a good Prop But they could have had the girl's eyes light up and it's her mouth open like she's screaming And they should have his eyes glowing also
