What I like about Citi Premier Miles would be the Citi Payall function for insurance payments and using it to earn bonus miles on Agoda at 6.2-7mpd in total
Citi prestige kinda needs substantial spending tho to enjoy miles n perks. I feel cashback cards are even better. Unless earning like 3x to 4x+ the min income req then yeah lifestyle wise makes sense The best and only perk as mentioned is the free 1n stay when you book 4 nights , and priority pass which is pretty much guaranteed on most trips
Ya need to spend $12k, but at least it was very easy to hit the spending with Citi PayAll promos then can use other cashback/miles card for normal spending. Otherwise, even as a hotel booking card it is not bad
Is the Citi Rewards card still good even by itself? Every card review says to pair it together with Amaze for the highest mpd, but if it's that popular, I would assume Citi will catch on eventually and exclude Amaze transactions like DBS did.
It works very well as an online card. Amaze of course helps it extend its reach beyond just online transactions. It’s been going on for 2 years so I’m sure Citi knows. DBS nerfed this more than 2 years ago!

hi, i'm totally new to CC. If i go dining at restaurants or places like KFC, should i use uob one or citi rewards (if the restaurants don't have specific deals) ?
Citi Rewards has to be tied to Amaze to get 4 miles per dollar for dining. UOB One gives its 3.33% rate for retail spend which includes dining. Depending on your monthly spend you can consider cards that give higher earning on dining like Maybank Family and Friends (8%), Citi Cash Back (6%) or UOB EVOL (6.7% on paywave).
