I actually like Salem quite a lot and would rank it as 2 (after Seraph, and above Shimousa). It’s definitely a lot lighter on action than the rest, but I think it’s well-written and works great as a mystery story. I’m not very familiar with cosmic horror stuff, but I think as a story about you and your magical friends being stuck in Salem during the witch trials, trying to solve a eldritch horror mystery, it’s really good

1. Seraph - one of the best pieces of fiction 2. Salem - the combination of lovecraft horror with the Salem witch trials was awesome, I also liked how dark this story chapter was 3. Shimousa - great story and setup for the Lostbelts and Musashi was a great character 4. Argatha - loved the interactions with Astolfo (top 5 male characters in Fate) and D'eon the story was a bit whack but it's one of the funniest if you don't take it too serious 5. Shinjuku - loved Salter, Jalter and the dog but I didn't really enjoy the story and the villains where boring

I'm absolutely with you here. Seraph is heads and tails above the rest on it's own tier. Melt's story was fantastic and the bond built up between her and Ritsuka was excellent. It was the perfect direction for her character arc to go after CCC. Agreed with Shinjuku being second. The rest are a bit of a mixed bag for me in that they could go in any order.

Once I get more rare prisms I'll do the BB lostbelt. I find it dumb that I have to unlock it, but I'll do it. It's fine.

I dont hate shimousa, but for me, it just felt like a long-ass musashi interlude... not to mention the stupid level 83 two skilled only forced support musashi... if you want to force us using a story support, can you at least make her usable? With level 90& all access to her third skill?

Maybe if I read the original CCC I would appreciate SERAPH more, but Shinjuku is my favourite. Jalter and Salter interacting with each other is S-tier

I put Shimousa as number 1, but Musashi is my fav so I'm biased there. Then it would be Shinjuku, CCC, Salem, and lastly Agartha.

I havent gotten to play seraph yet so I cant really speak on it tbh Shimousa is 1st for me having one of my favourite scenes in the game despite having played through lostbelt 1-5 and is also one of the reasons I have my muramasa at lvl 100 Aside from salter and jalter, I really loved shinjuku because of the setting and it being well.. modern day shinjuku as someone who really likes big city settings especially at night Salem was interesting to me, it definitely took a darker tone which I did enjoy and while there were some parts that were confusing for me I did still enjoy it Agartha to no surprise was the least enjoyable as I didn’t really enjoy the cast all too much or care for some for them and the story was pretty strange all around and just had me wishing I could’ve just skipped it if I wasn’t focused on completing all of 1.5

5 - Agartha : I don't hate it as much as most people, and there are a couple of interesting ideas here, but for the most part the execution is not very good, and a lot of the characters fall flat. 4 - Shimousa : I did enjoy the whole samurai movie vibe it had, and I'm fond of Musashi, but the story is pretty repetitive and the villains are too numerous and mostly wasted (especially bad for those that are introduced with this chapter). At least it did its job of setting some things up for part 2. 3 - Salem : a very good story that's held back by being told in FGO (also, Abigail is kind of meh in there, she gets better afterward) 2 - Seraph : yeah, I know, don't kill me. I did enjoy it quite a bit, but I feel like by not playing the previous games (aside from the very first Fate Extra), I'm losing a lot here, and the end result is a very decent story, but not incredible (I might also have been overhyped, since my introduction to this event was its rerun, and in the leadup to it, I had the community on loop repeating that this was by far the best 1.5 chapter, which might have inflated my expectations - I got a good chapter when I was expecting an amazing one) 1 - Shinjuku ; truth be told, it took me a little while to get into it, but once I was in, I was in. Salter and Jalter were great, Moriarty was amazing, and the whole thing running by literary tropes gave it an almost calvinball-esque quality that I ended up really enjoying.

I never realized the BB event was related to 1.5 it feels like instead of making it a gold shop event they should have just put the event in 1.5 it changes up my order. also agartha was really good better than shimousa. Shimousa dragged on over and over while the fights were cool ideas they were really annoying and to an extent dragged out. I loved the ending which redeemed it but overall it was just way too elongated and I was not happy with how they treated Izoun. I was so excited for him to be in the party and i thought it was him and musashi to possibly fight the 7 swordsman but just nope they kill him off fast so disappointing and i think the 7 swordsman execution was not the greatest and i wish they made it so you could only use musashi rather than full party to really emmerse you in musashis journey because going in with my team took some of that out of the story. I think BB Event heavily depends on 3 factors if its the best did you like melt, BB and Session. I hated Session she almost felt shoved into the story last minute at times and her overwhelming the demon pillars mind as a human seems farfetched and just not right and basically BB nerfing her was super weird ending. BB just was kind of annoying but my interest in her actions outweighed it with her clever schemes and just did not care for BB that much. Melt was the thing that saved this whole experience from her saving you to developing feelings for you in that she cares about you by the end and truly enjoys working and helping you. overall was a very fun story and it for the most part worked well though I wish BB was the main villain and not kiara because it feels like the did this to bring more alter egos into the game. Agartha was actually fun I liked it. It was Sherazades story turned to life which is why everyone acted weirder than usual and it actually made me like astolfo and Eon they were fun during that story with the goofy dress up to their sense of exploration. how Drake got turned into this bizarre fictional pirate or how pennisilea being madness enhanced to see everyone as achilles or Wu Zetian ruling a city she never ruled and seeing how they treat everyone differently. the whole story was sherazade projecting her fears and anger into a story. Fergus was the highlight though traveling with a young fergus was the highlight of the whole thing. he went from who has no idea what he wants to do with his life except be an amazing warrior and seeing how others rule to realizing Being King sucks i dont want to be king I wont make a good king and realizing what he needs to do. I love how he decides to save sherazade by destroying the culmination of sherazades fear and anger was just great. my biggest disappointment for all the 1.5 stuff was no costumes I WANTED THAT YOUNG FERGUS AS A COSTUME I would do this then 1. Shinjuku 2. Remnant 3.Agartha 4.Shimousa 5. Salem

For me Shinjuku was the best of 1.5 as I Loved Moriarty's character and his plan. Loved the concept of the phantom spirits especially Lobo. Also enjoyed Salter and Jalter both getting love and dances with Ritsuka. Shimousa comes in second as I really enjoyed that story, but no one out did Moriarty's character work here for me. Will say Muramasa's moment towards the end was the coolest thing in 1.5. Seraph I feel like I need to reread one more time to rank better as I bought this out of the prism shop after beating lb2 so there was a bit to much separation from the rest of 1.5. Right now I'd say it would take any of the top three. Agartha takes 4th cause I can see that this could have been done better with a few more drafts and I liked Megalos who imo should have been the final/recurring boss throughout the entire chapter becoming so strong at the end he was uncontrollable. Salem comes in last place as I hated this chapter. I'm not to much into lovecraft, and hated so much stuff that happened in this story. I know LB2 happened later than this but if we don't let the Valkyries take the adults out of the wall and to the giants we aren't letting the judge do half of what that douche bag did, Nerfed or not Ritsuka and party don't let that happen. I know the game needs to keep adding characters, but why oh why was Medea pushed out for Circe? Give us a 5 star variant of Medea, I'll at minimum np 2 her. The cut scenes were also way to long driving me to tears of boredom, or begging people to shut up. Also who thought letting Nezha talk like that was a good idea?

I love skinjuku! Saber alter is my girl and it has my second favorite avenger from a lore stance Lobo! Dante’s is no. 1. The moment they caught lobo and saber went to strike him down only for the rider to defend lobo was amazing. Saber saying “Stand down Dulahann” was awesome. Normally people only think of the legend of sleepy hollow as the headless horseman without realizing his Celtic origins that has a spine whip. Seriously other than the Nuckleavee it’s the scariest Celtic monster. Seriously google the Nuckleavee and tell me you wouldn’t shut yourself if you saw that irl

Only credit I give Agartha is on the character design, one of the best looking servants and alts come from there, Columbus unique artsyle, Drake Costume, Giant Herc, Smol Fergus, riskiest being Scheherazade and who steals it all Penthesilea Queen of Amazonians.

I’d rank part 1.5 FGO Epic of Remnant chapters through this order: 1-Subterranean World of Folklore: Agatha 2-The Stage of Carnage: Shimousa 3-The Forbidden Advent Garden: Salem 4-Quarantined Territory of Malice: Shinjuku It’s just my list since 1 related to many stories worldwide, my culture, fun story with lots of twist, funny as hell, wholesome. With 2, which was just complete badass, crazy, adrenaline fuel, and total action, loved it. On 3, just like 1 it felt different more focused on other aspects rather than battle, I like how they just went other routes. And 4 was a little of everything, but I just liked the others personally more. If I’m honest I liked all of the chapters and enjoyed a lot the story. I like to see people’s lists cause every story is interpreted different by everyone, it’s just nice to see why people like certain stories more than others, cause we are all different and can interpret them differently based on our own backgrounds, either case FGO is just amazing.

Normally I would make a joke about how you should make a CE video because this is filler content but this was pretty kino. So you dodged a bullet on this one.

Hassan is Gramps, Moriarty is just an old but cool Dad. A damn shame about his younger version being such a disappointment compared to him.

Agartha had inderesting concepts... but I don't know what they smoked when they put the whole story together. I hated it lmao, it felt so slow, so uninteresting... Fergus was... kind of fun..? But was mostly a pushover during 80% of the story. And Columbus was just so obvious as a character when you know his story Couldn't do SERAPH because no rare prisms so I can't really rank that one, so imo the ranking is very similar to you when excluding SERAPH : Shimousa, Shinjuku, Salem and then Agartha.

Combination Castoria/Skadi even worth to try or it just big waste of time? cuz i have several quick servants i REALLY wanna use but knowing my luck and knowing how RARE skadi rate up is i probably never gonna get my own copy of her soo its worth to try Castoria/Skadi combo or its really just easier to give up on quick at all

How is everyone playing fate/extra ccc when the fan translation hasn't been completed yet?! I've been waiting for so long to play it. Is there an alternative way to play?

Mine: Salem = Shinjuku Seraph Agartha Shimousa Yep, I guess I am that guy who actually likes Agartha and Salem, while I generally got bored with the shounen fantasy that is Shimousa. Shimousa was actually the one dragged the longest cause I had absolutely 0 interest to read it. I think most people got too engrossed with the "controversial" themes in Agartha, I didn't care tbh. I consider it to be an extension of Shinjuku and the theme of "getting your hands dirty" -- while Shinjuku shows talks about doing morally questionable decisions in order to fulfill your duty (i.e. the doll) while Agartha kinds of opens your eyes to the truth that "your allies are not saints, they are flawed humans": with Drake being turned against you and acting more like how a pirate would as opposed to the adventurer we see in Okeanos, Colombus betraying you and questioning the morality of the rest of your allies and their actions while alive (like "yeah I'm a horrible person but you're surrounded with people who did horrible things, I'm just mask-off"), and Schez constant fear of death even when she already died once. All of this while we accompany Fergus Lily who is learning how a good ruler should behave, taking the good and discarding the bad lessons of the three rulers we fight. Overall I found a really entertaining and engaging read. Who knows, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I can firmly say Agartha left a way better impression on me than Shimousa's shounen plot did.

I actually like Agartha more then Shimosa. At least i found Agartha interesting enough to finish. I got so bored in Shimosa that i just quite reading half way trough and it is the only chapter that i have not finished.

havent played seraph. shinjuku was solid. agartha was boring. Shimosa was annoying AND boring(only good thing to come out of it was another Emiya ost.). And Salem was painfully long because the story just kept dragging on.

Is there a specific order to do them?

Hello, you've now met somebody who likes Agartha. Honestly don't see why people rag on it so much. Had Astolfo and Scheherazade, who are awesome, cool story and a few twists, liked the idea of different ''kingdoms'' . Shimosa to me was the overrated singularity to me. Didn't even realise Seraph was considered part of 1.5 but I'd put it low tbh, bored the crap outta me. My list has always been. 1. Shinjuku 2. Agartha 3. Salem 4. Shimosa

I honestly wasn't a huge fan of Shimousa. Being forced to use ONLY Musashi for so many fights was kind of a drag. I put a lot of work into raising my servants, so I LIKE using them. And I'm torn on Salem. The creepy vibes were great. But the plays felt out of place. And the Lovecraftian stuff felt shoehorned in: it could have been done so much better.

Agartha was garbage, yeah. Worst story in the game. But I did enjoy Salem a lot. It isn't as good as Shimousa (which is the best one here) and Shinjuku are the top ones, but I didn't feel super into SERAPH that much outside of Melt, who I really liked. Maybe because I never played Extra. So to me it is Shimousa, Shinjuku, Salem, SERAPH, and well.... Agartha.

Agartha is not my number one but i like it because i just love caster and i'm just too happy when one is the final baddy 😅. Like okeanos and medea. (But not really solomon because he is more of a beast than a caster when we met him.)

I'd switch Agartha and Salem personally. Mostly because I really like Drake and Penth. Salem was okay...I liked it more as it got going but I found it mostly boring.

5. Shinjuku - despite this chapter being pretty cool at first, it fell flat at the end with the mass detective summoning thing, and looking back after finishing everything FGO much of it was fairly forgettable although not on the same level as London or Septem ofc, the villians were kinda meh and also even Agartha's ending was better than here (this definitely has the weakest ending in all of EoR chapters which made for a very rough start of EoR storyline for me, and that nice Jalter dance at the end did not unfuck the ending unfortunately), but other than that ending everything else in it was exactly what you needed going back to FGO after Part 1 and these 5-4 spots can sort of be interchangeable depending on my mood 4. Agartha - all the hate is overblown, but it's obviously the weakest 1.5 chapter (and yet despite that, it doesn't fuck up its ending and actually makes it into the chapter's best highlight, Agartha goes perfectly after SERAPH too as the intended break for some lighthearted fun if you follow the timeline correctly, plus you wouldn't ever expect anything in 1.5 to top SERAPH after you finish that so your immediate expectations will go down as needed, which Shinjuku couldn't really have for me to enjoy it more after that solid setup made the expectations for Shinjuku ending too high for them to deliver) 3-2. Shimousa/Salem - between these two it flips constantly depending on my mood and there's too much to go into for why that is, but I assume everyone knows pros & cons of these anyway 1. SERAPH - objectively the best, CCC chads won as Nasu intended

I don’t know I loved Agartha! I seriously can’t get the hate on it, it’s a fun chapter, with some interesting concepts of a Servant trying to get past the very rational fear of being summoned and dying repeatedly! I liked Wu I know plenty people who love Wu’s goofy as heck character, and god we need the Astolfo and D’eon Sailor Outfits! And I don’t know I kinda of vibed with Young Fergus, and when we saw what Columbus did to Helena, come on we all wanted that man dead! Given how historically monstrous that man was, for Fate to say he’s the literal worst is fitting!

Agartha isn't the worst chapter in 1.5. It's the worst chapter in FGO. Yes, worse than Septem. Anyway, based list ZTL, I'd swap Shimousa and Salem but only because I love Lovecraft, and the slow plodding nature of the plot is how Lovecraft stories work. It's ALL about the slow burn. I still like Shimousa!

Shinjuku is easily my favorite. Everything about it was great. Shimosa is honestly meh storywise imo, but the great fights make up for it. Then we've got Agartha and Salem... and honestly I find Salem to be extremely boring and annoying, plus I don't like Abby. The one thing Salem gave us is the hardest Robin line of all time: "How many more innocent people do you miserable shits need to watch die before you're satisfied?!" or something like that. I liked Agartha more than I did Salem tbh, mostly cause I can somewhat relate to Scheherazade's fear of death and I really felt bad for her. Plus she's my second most beloved servant, so no wonder

I actually played through Agartha earlier this year (about halfway through Shimousa now) and I kinda liked it? Like I went in dreading it with this universal hate the community had for it but it's just a story where everyone involved woke up and decided to be silly that day, like I wouldn't call it 'good' but everything was so over the top that it was fun in a way like watching a hammy B-Movie of actors you recognize from other things I mean they give us Astolfo as the escort Servant so between that and its reputation I already prepared myself for a silly romp going in and kind of tempered my expectations and found it fun.
