As someone who has played since season 0 in 2017 I agree that chapter 2 was the peak. Chapter 1 was the peak for the gaming community but chapter 2 was the peak for the Fortnite community. Wish I played more chapter 4. Really only played season 1

I’d honestly wouldn’t rank chapter 2 that high tbh. Half of it was spent being an absolute snooze fest and even when epic picked up the pace every new season kept reverting the changes from the previous one.

I believe Chapter 4 gave us some of the best weapons in Fortnite: The Heisted Exotics, The Twin Mag AR/SMG, Mammoth Pistol, Havoc Shotgun, Shockwave Hammer

Chapter 3 season 2 had Command Cavern which was by far the most memorable location of the whole chapter

My thoughts: I don't think that a specific chapter is peak Fortnite. The game has a constant wave effect for me. Some seasons are great then the ones following them tend to suck. There is not really a consistent time for me within these chapters. And I'm tired of hearing Chapter 2 being considered "Peak Fortnite." I will say one thing though: Yeah, Chapter 5 is the worst, it's not even close.

C3 S2 was one of the BEST seasons all time IMO

I played a lot of chapter 2 but nah it can’t be number 1 imo. Half the seasons were either underwhelming or horrible. S1 went on for 5 months with only adding a harpoon gun, S5 had a boring loot pool and was solely driven by collabs, S6 was primal, and S8 was an uninspired lackluster ending.

Season OG was its own chapter tho

My ranking from worst to best: 5. Chapter 3: Seasons 3 and 4 killed this Chapter, it had potential but it was wasted 4. Chapter 1: Simple but fun at that time, But compared to today it's obsolete 3. Chapter 5: It's had some mistakes, but it's still enjoyable and has potential 2. Chapter 4: It was almost perfect, Very unique, varied and fun (Despite what most say, Wilds wasn't bad) 1. Chapter 2: The peak of Fortnite, Almost everything good about the game came from here

I personally started playing fortnite at the tail end of chapter 3 (Still sad i missed out on Spider-Man). Season 4 of that chapter was alright but i absolutely adored chapter 4 season 1. The skins was solid, weapons was solid, adored the medieval themed POIs, the goddamn Deku smash was stupid in a chaotic fun way. It was the "Wilds" season i genuinely hated aside from the skins and weapons, never a fan of the jungle POI and the Heist one was really damn good too. Chapter 4 was my overall personal favorite, wish i was around to experience chapters 1-3 in their entirety.

i joined in chapter 5 season 1, and out of the 3 i have played season 1 was my FAVORITE. Ik its an unpopular opinion but i LOVED IT so much especially cuz i knew nothing about the game and it was bot lobbies. It was SO FUN and i miss it. Also my favorite item i have ever used was the grapple blade ❤

So, ngl, I think this list was one of the best list so far. I would definitely say that chapter 5 is number 5 due to mainly C5S2 and parts of this season. I would like to also put chapter 3 at number 4 because of mainly season 2 and 4 of that chapter. Tanks were way too overpowered and same goes with the battle bus and then the chrome season just sucked. As for the weapons from C3 though, they were pretty good ngl. As for next, definitely chapter 4. Chapter 4 had really good seasons (other than ofc season 3) and the gameplay introduced was really fun to play. And definitely chapter 1 in number 2 spot. I never played but one match of chapter 1 and it was on my aunt's phone because she played it and I wasn't really allowed to play it then. So I do have a valid excuse for that and C2S1. I didn't play any of those seasons. But in number 1 spot is definitely C2. I literally started playing in C2S2 and enjoyed it until season 8. Season 8 wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. Same goes for C2S6, but I actually kinda enjoyed that season. I mean, it sucked, let's get that straight, but some of the gameplay was really fun! And that's how I'd put it. And before I forget, with chapter 4, I'd also like to put that Season OG carried as well with the other 3 seasons (not WILDS). And that's how I'd put my rankings on it. Tyfryz, i noticed something while playing a creative map. I found the mythic primal AR and noticed its litterally the SAME as Sky's Skar. It is only i tiny bit slower and inaccurrate. Other than that, it is actually really good! It has a bad name because of other primal weapons but is really good! You should make another ,,most underrated" or ,,overhated" weapons video and inlude it.

If Chapter 3 had its full 2 year run it would have been the best chapter imo Season 1 was amazing Season 2 was great Season 3 was one of my favourite seasons imo Season 4 was.... And if we put in the 3 Chapter 4 seasons that would have been in Chapter 3 it would have been peak Straight after vibin would have been MEGA then Wilds which... Probably wouldn't be as bad on a 2 year map then after that woudl be last resort with all thoes chapter 2 season 2 feels then ending it off with all the chorme locations. It would have been amazing. Im gonna be honest, i dont understand the chapter 2 hype. Ive been playing this game since c1s3, and i can admit that ch1 had a couple of low points, but with ch2 it just feels completely glazed over. Like nearly half of this chapter was kinda shit, (s1,s5,s6), but it feels like people never talk about that and just hail ch2 as "peak" when a lot of it is the exact same as what they blame ch1 fans for, being nostalgia. Another thing is that the ch2 map evolved terribly imo, like every single season past s4 just changed the middle and very little else. Dont get me wrong i absolutely love seasons like s2, s3, s7 and s8, but i really dont understand why people glaze it so hard lol

I don’t think words can describe how happy I would be if chapter 2 OG comes back and they do at least seasons 2 and 3, I know season 4 is impossible, but they should replace it with season 7 because seasons 2,3,and 7 were 3 of my favorites of all time

Honestly wouldn't argue with these rankings. Except 1 and 2. However............ major key points either for or against were not even mentioned. Chapter 5 has been controversy from Day 1, primarily because of the #RevertMovement fiasco, changing from Hit Scan to bullet drop and the OP smammy meta of every single season (Frenzy Auto, Water Bending, Cars and Magneto) Chapter 3 is underrated. Season 1 is Top 5 All Time. It's a shame you didn't play Season 2 because Zero Build probably saved the game. But Season 3 and 4 were so bad. But this map, introduction to tactical sprint, sliding and manteling can't be overstated. Chapter 4 only had 1 bad season. But it was SO BAD (Wilds) that it killed the Chapter. And the Map was terrible. Chapter 2 should be #2. You talk about nostalgia, but ignore the pitfalls of this Chapter. Deadly long Season 1. Season 2 was great, but was also delayed for weeks and got VERY stale with no updates the whole last month. Season 4 was goated but 5 and 6 are two of the worst ever. Season 7 is Top 5 of all time but Season 8 was awful as well. It was literally a 50/50 Chapter. Chapter 1 innovated every season, improved every season. Gave us new stuff every season. Events every season. Being "bare bones" at the beginning only made it's peak better cuz it evolved. Season X is a Top 4 worst of All Time but that is the only "bad" season. You can not like Season 6...... but it wasn't bad. Some people didn't like Season 8...... but it wasn't bad. Only Season X was. But every other Chapter has seasons of EPIC FAILURE and some had multiple. Finally thoughts of I ranked these........ #1 - Chapter 1 #2 - Chapter 2 #3 - Chapter 4 #4 - Chapter 3 #5 - Chapter 5 (I've never played less Fortnite in my life and Season 1-3 will be the first Seasons since super styles I didn't unlock them all since the infamous Level 350 Gold Peely. This Chapter is 🐶💩)

I have enjoyed Chapter 5. I like the battle passes so far, and weapon mods were a cool addition imo since it gives quite a bit more flexibility in peoples loadout. Unfortunately season 3 will go down as a major stain on this chapter's reputation which is so unfortunate.

Chapter 5 season 3 was very fun at first and then they nerfed the cars. The cars being OP made me forget about the awful chapter 5 lootpool because I could just sit in a car all game. We need hitscan weapons back but at least the cars provided some sort of escape from the bullet drop hellscape

I think chapter 5 had great potential but epic has just made the game too crazy which I’m not a big fan of.

i’ve played since ch1 s8 and my favorite season was definitely ch2 s3 the flood gave us a fresh start and it was chaotic but so so fun. my least favorite season was definitely ch2 s5 sand tunneling was broken and it was kinda boring. it had some good collars tho. i admit ch2 s6 was bad but i liked the bows and the spire biome.
