How good do you think Seofon and Tweyen will be once they release? Immediate S tier characters? Also please don't use MVP as a way to measure how good a character is, that's terrible, MVP means nothing
Tweyen is guarenteed to be atleast A tier minimum being ranged in this type of games is to valuable ngl allows you to keep track of the whole battlefield while avoiding all close range attacks and CC which a lot of bosses love spamming so you get to be a lot more offensive and stack much better dps compared to close range characters cause of downtime from attacks
Idk but the director Tetsuya Fukuhara said himself during the last granblure relink showcase that their effects stand apart from the rest of the crew while he tested them. he's stating that with the experience they cumulated while working on the game. the team also improved. it's around 1:18:30 in the showcase
i mean. if they go lore acurate Siete would be in his own tier at the top, and song would be in S tier. but given how debuff focused Tweyen is in gbf and with how relink works its hard to say. she will likely inflict almost every debuff in the game, and have access to paralyze but not glaciate.
For people that don't play Io, they might not realize it but you don't actually charge Flowery Seven. It hits the damage cap on each individual hit very easily, so you just tap it and move on with your rotation. Io is also less of a burst character (even if Stargaze V hits hard), and more of a sustain character because there's very little in Proud fights that actually forces her to hard disengage.
I wish there is an aerial weapon in MH that plays like Zeta. I tried so hard to like IG but I just can't. Its moveset feels so floaty and weightless, and I hate the insect extraction mechanism. Honestly don't like any weapons except the OG ones like LS, DB, and GS etc. No BS mechanisms that make it a pain to learn and use.
@@unrealsimon93 Well in Rise there is a chain like that. I hope they keep it and improve it in Wilds, because world aerial IG is, I agree, useless with a couple of exceptions and certainly boring.
@unrealsimon93 I spent a few hundred hours on each weapon in MHW and I'd say one of the best fun/powerful weapon and underrated is the Switch Axe. Give it a try!
@@shadowball5295 why would I waste 2 seconds doing it when the same 2 seconds could be used to knock down or chop off the tail of a wyvern with my GS? I just don't like gimmicky weapons with all the "extra steps".
Vane should be S Tier simply for his braindead facetanking abilities. His damage output might be lower than the top tiers, but he makes up for it by simply being able to rush after the boss in every stage of the fight. He has consistent uptime in his damage, even in bloodthrist phases, whereas others struggle with that. Also he is super tanky so mistakes aren't punished that hard. Id is another character that is gravely underestimated here. His damage against Barrold is shit, but thats because his most damaging skills are multi-hit attacks that work better against big bosses. I easily outdamage 95% of players online with Id, the only ones BARELY outdamaging me are perfectly geared Percivals and Vaseragas and only when I mess up my rotations. He is also deceptively tanky, as he has built in Stout Heart, so giving him some defensive utility in Steel Nerves gives him the ability to facetank similiar to Vane. Should at least be in A tier.
I cant believe how they didnt fix ghandaghoza. At this point i call this char a bug, because he is so bad compared to the other chars, it cant be intentional.
He need to complete his entire combo to get rage gauge. Why not a tick per hit ? With all the busy work. Charge fist only do barely 2m damage. He need a serious buff.
The fact that his full ground combo doesn't give the entire rage gauge is telling. At least with someone like Katalina, you don't have to perfect execute her entire combo
it's quite sad his only competitive build is the one that abuse the damage cap transfer from his max rage charged attack to his SBA and have that be at least 50% of his total DPS
I think Kat is S. her exclusive sigil gives supplemental DMG which stacks with the sigils when Ares is out. Also think Rosetta DMG is slept on. Her poison does hp% DMG. Can't wait to see the damage on proud mode bosses and the new boss in March.
I agree, Rosetta's DMG is not the highest but it is there. Also having permanent DEF up and good DMG Cut uptime, a huge heal is a package in just 1 character you can already set 3 main damage dealers in one party and Rosetta got all of them covered while dealing damage herself with roses and poison. With Kath, I believe she is an S tier. I built her with full Quick Cooldown and 1 maxed Cascade and I can maintain Ares for an absurd amount of time. In training dummy, it is permanent since there is no bloodlust moments. Not to mention, party wide Invincibility buff
@@glardian966 true, but can also be said to other characters when a monster moves away, like Zeta being her loop being broken, or enemies moving away from Percy's Schlat, or when Charlotta decides to use her Sword of Lumiel. It is also mentioned in the video that Rosetta needs to sacrifice a skill to relocate the roses, but same can be said to other characters as well that doesn't have gap closers on their basic stuff and needing gap closers for them to continue doing their thing
@@KITE_17The funny thing is that unlike Zeta, whomst doesn’t want her loop broken, Charlotta mains won’t mind the boss moving away. Mostly because Sword of Lumiel can lead into a Noble Stanced jump that goes into her gap closing rapid spin which she can then lead into her buzzsaw to put her back into a Noble Stance combo that, with Cascade, will rapidly recharge Sword of Lumiel for another round in the Blender.
In my opinion Narmada is an S tier character because you can stacks insane buffs with dance of pink petals and buff defense and regain health with dance of blue petals and her setsuna skill is a nice allrounder for clearing enemies and she has one of the widest ranges in the whole game while having insane damages and if you pulls out all your buffs with other characters and then buff with dance of pink and blue petals you can doing infinite combos with an average damage amount at max level of about 50+ million. Also she has versatility range (again) dps, combos, fast attacks and healing everything you want in a character. But I might switch to personal because Narmaya and Persival are my favorite characters and they are both in my opinion s rank with Narmaya 50m+ and persival 55m+ but I do understand your point of Narmaya in a tier but you really have to learn her tricks, I have played with her most of the game and once you learn her unstoppable combos with dance of pink petals she becomes a force to be reckoned with.
in the gacha game Percival and Narmaya's ultimate versions is the strongest too in their respective elements. with percy being fire and narmaya wind. theyre ranked SSS tier. they both deal insane damage that redefines the meta. and ultimate percival's sword weapon is the most important weapon in the fire element grid to have. Granblue is just the best.
One thing I discovered, although I'm pretty sure everyone knows by now, is that Djeeta's Phalanx and Charlotta's Konigsschild stack together, which brings the damage reduction up to 100%, as if the 70% wasn't already crazy enough.
Probably need to make a stats chart for each character like: DPS (poor/best situation), defense, handling difficulty, team support, quest specialty and other stuffs.
Id's damage is actually pretty good in acual combat as opposed to the test dummy and this can be seen if you use the dps meter that's been made. Big reason is you can't account or test for his biggest hitting attacks on the dummy due to their huge multi hit. He's definitely A tier, a little under namaya. That said he has a very high skill ceiling for the reasons you mentioned, such as dying resetting you to base.
Yeah both his scourge in dragon form and his godmight finisher hits multiple times on bosses but only once on dummy. I’ve seen scourge hit for 6mil (10 hits) on proto where as the dummy always only gets hit once for 600k
@@Dp_Unkemptharold Exactly, makes a huge difference. He's pretty much on par with the majority of the dps cast. Although he does suffer on fights with enemies with small hit boxes, as a consequence.
Someone did a run on Gallanza Maglielle and got Versalis Scourge to hit them multiple times by angling into the stairs. A thing of beauty as an Id player
I have like 6 different tabs open from your vids and I'm overwhelmed. Just finished the main story. Currently playing Narmaya as my main. What would you recommend? I'm currently running Narmaya, Rackam, Rosetta and Id in my team. Got 3 character coupons. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Honestly they're all quite good but I'd recommend Lancelot or Charlotta if you don't have them already. They're both quite strong, especially Charlotta, and make everything easy so you can use them if you feel the need. Plus Lancelot can freeze enemies and he dodges everything so he's also good as AI
Hey man, just for saying thank you for your video. I have like 40hours into the game and i count to put hundreds more. Percival et narm is my only two characters atm fully master thanks to you and your guide.
Vane does huge damage, you might be a bit inexperienced on him. Provides immunity, has a huge stun skill and damage skill (& all his cooldowns can be reduced due to unique sigil + any other cooldown sigil)
I like Vane a lot and have used him a ton. He does not do huge damage though, just put him side by side with the 'huge damage' characters, ie Vaseraga, Percival and Rackam. It's not even close.
@@yagami999913 its his insane sustainability that benefits thee whole party and he can trvialize difficult parts that usually most parties receive damage on
@@Cayden.1 i mean, i just got max level potion hoarder and i can just heal through any damage i sustain in proud difficulty with leftover potions at the end of the mission. So i started using "Life on the line" for more damage. Damage cap also makes buffs and debuffs useless in the endgame. I think traditional support is very weak in this game right now, if not completely expendable. The best support is CC (slow/para/freeze) and SBA stunlock (Ferry).
I agree, but that's just personally. Because I'm not very skilled. If I used any character in this S tier they might as well be D (for dead 😂) tier as I try and fail to pull off combos, charge attacks, or whatever other tech they might have. Being able to just keep swinging and completely ignore attacks is a game changer. And I FEEL very useful when I pop Rampart at hectic moments especially if it allows my group to continue dosing when they'd otherwise have to focus on survival.
Vane lacks damage!? Im doing over 2 million dmg with Energy Destruction and thanks to his Signature Sigil and Cascade every 2 combo finishers i can use the skill again. Vane is so broken against Lucilius its not even funny. I m getting MVP with Vane even without using Rampart thats how much damage he is dealing.
Reminder to people C is the worst tier here, but C isn't a failing grade, D,E & F are typically on most tier lists but grandblue is such an amazingly well designed game, every character is playable for the entire game, there's no point having anyone lower.
Surprised you didn't mention that ferry can spsm her SBA. In proto for example she can SBA from the first time he lands his dead on the ship. With max uplift she takes 27 seconds to get it which is a huge dmg boost for the team as it stuns the boss and gives a team wide 10% SBA charge
I've been able to get similar times to fill up my SBA with Vaseraga, Lancelot, Charlotta and the Captain before so while I think it IS a good point, just didn't think it was worth bringing up, but it is very much true
NEVER GO OFF SOMEONE'S TIER these things are all based on this guy's experience with the characters...Everytime someone makes a Tier List the characters they suck with or don't know how to fully utilize is usually low tier soo please take this with a grain of salt 😂
I think the only rating I really disagree with is Io. There's no way she isn't S tier. Practical damage tests have her at the very top of total damage for the majority of encounters (unsure if they were using SBA cap build or not though), and even with a more traditional build, her uptime is incredible, and most importantly, something you didn't touch on for her or Ferry, is SBA generation. Io generates a TON and it allows for some skips that other characters can't do. Ferry takes this to the next level, and probably deserves S tier again, just for her SBA utility. Oh, and while I think your ranking of Katalina is fair, you can build her for unga bunga face tank full uptime Ares and she performs actually VERY well. One of my favorite ways to do practical tests for characters is to put them up against some obnoxious fights like ice+ lightning dragon and gallbonzo + bean. And in these tests, Katalina, Io, and Ferry tend to perform the best, even over monsters like Percival and Narmaya. Just because of uptime and SBA.
Ferry was ranked as an A tier but ended up as a B and Io went from A to S whilst Katrina was somewhere between… tier lists are definitely subjective for sure, my main is Zeta and I agree she doesn’t do as much damage but I feel like she brings a lot to the fight. Saying that A tier is fair, Ferry if using the correct build is either A or S tier as she can give more options… anyway good video clearly took a long time to make oh and btw if you have a high level firm stance then when the enemy goes into bloodlust or overdrive you do not get pushed away, I got a dmg cap with it on and I maxed it to lv15 and it’s very underrated but so useful lol
Meant to put her in A at the end, that's my bad. She's great, but not quite there to hit S rank in my opinion (though if some skill cancels were to be nerfed she'd hit S rank) I'll be trying adding Firm stance on some characters, ty for the tip
I don't think bloodthirst has any knockback associated with it, but as for overdrive you can simply dodge it or parry it. Narmaya is actually very good for this because she parries into a slow, delaying the bloodthirst part and letting people potentially break the overdrive before it can even happen.
@@Claudekr I might be giving it the wrong name but for example when ID transforms he does that massive blast that pushes everyone away but with firm stance at a reasonable level you stay close and can still deal damage, it’s reduced but anything helps, it’s also good against any bosses who use tornadoes, proto bahamuts sky fall blast etc. just a useful skill I got mine on a damage cap so some luck was involved lol
@@darkhero2 do you think they will buff/nerf any of the characters? Also what do you think we’ll get as drops when the free dlc comes out? And no problem let me know if it helps
Yeah that was kind of absurd. Her optimal play style's contribution to any team is head and shoulders above every other character's, and if they ever do balance patches I bet she'd be at the top of the list to have their numbers tweaked
If they remove some skill cancels she'd definitely be in S tier. But I don't think she quite reaches it currently. Also I ranked her as A tier, accidentally put her in B at the end. Though you probably skipped the entire video
@@darkhero2 even if she was doing 0 damage, she would still be in every single speedrunning comp, because she breaks the game. 4x Ferry comp is banned in speedrunning. And she isn't doing 0 damage. Ferry if not the best character, she's easily top 2.
Everytime i play Rosetta i get the MVP in multiplayer, why is that? Doesnt matter who's in the party, Rackam, Eugen, Percival, Narmaya, Yodarha... i always seem to get the MVP. The only one my Rosetta usually loses the MVP to is Vane.
MVP doesn't mean anything though. I don't get why so many put an emphasis on it. You get tons of points just for buffing or blocking alone. If you block mechanics with Vane's bubble you're practically guaranteed MVP
@@ashoc0 Players place so much value on damage alone because the game kinda encourages that right now. If they introduce content that limits or removes the use of potions, the games balance would be completely different lol
I’ve gotta ask: does unlocking mysteries affect how an ai plays? Like I know it increases their strength but if a mastery increases the duration of let’s say a buff, does that only apply when your playing as that character or does it apply to the cpu as well?
Oh boy. Rosetta's Terminus weapon was the first one to drop, and I've been excitedly building her as much as possible because of it. Wonder where she placed. ... Fuck.
Learning her is the first step. Her damage rotations and playstyle require patience and setup. She isn't a mindless UNGA BUNGA character like charlotta and vane. It's satisfying to learn her honestly. Keeping up with rose movement and hitting those max damage moments is great.
The way this game is, everybody is viable and you can clear content easily with anyone Honestly someone being C tier is not that far off a character in S tier
@@rapha1108 Basically how I viewed it. Doesn't matter, Rosetta would at least perform better just on the idea she's the only one with an endgame weapon with even more potential. The grind should be easy just because of that. At the very least she's S tier waifu material for me.
i dont 100% agree with everything you said but i think the only ranking i would dispute is the captain. I think you are being quite generous putting them at S rank, as even though their kit is really great, in the current state of the game a lot of their utility is sadly wasted. However I think as we get new content that will probably change and they will deserve the s rank
Hey great video. But I just noticed that your ranking image at the end of the video doesn't all match the rankings you gave in the actual video. For instance, you ranked Ferry as A tier, but your image shows she's on B tier. Why is that?
Ty! And it was a simple mistake on my end. I had made that tier list before I started writing my script but forgot to update it since I had moved a rankings around. For the record, I'd rank Ferry as an A, and if we get some characters skill combo cancels nerfed / removed, she'd be an S
Would put vane in S tier simply for his shield and for how often he can use it by spamming combo finishers with supplimentary dmg and cascade settings and yes it all stacks with his class sigil and it's just ridicilously op defensive skill overall allowing players inside ingore all dmg/cc and deal dps or simply just avoid mechanics which most likely will be a thing in upcoming raids. He is also super fun and spammy with low cooldowns. People who build him tanky, please don't. And you don't really need the other class sigil that give defence, just the one with cd reduction for each combo finisher you do.
Meant to put her in A at the end, that's my bad. She's great, but not quite there to hit S rank in my opinion (though if some skill cancels were to be nerfed she'd hit S rank)
I understand vane isn't pulling DPS forward numbers, but I really don't get how the sheer bullshit of the bubble alone doesn't land him in S. Skipping entire mechanics and Bloodthirst phases is a wild level of true teamwide utility that very few characters can compare with. Also Rosseta in last, womp womp, still going to main her because her enitre gameplan for me so fun. Now if only her bloody terminus would drop...
I think the bubble having him unbable to attack is what makes me not rank him S tier. You can pop mirror image with Yodarha, Cover with the Captain / Vaseraga or Invincibility with Kat and protect your entire team while dealing damage. Vane just has to sit there. And I think most mechanics are easily avoided too
@@darkhero2 I do agree, having Vane completely offline is undeniably a drawback. I think there are two possibilites going forward where it could actually shine even with the considered 1) Enemy offscreen / untargetable just being a complete nightmare bullet hell simulator. Pretty self explanatory, nobody is doing damage, so instead of risking anything, just ignore the whole thing 2) And one I'd really like more of, bullet hell sim, but the boss has to remain idle and attackable, Vane now covers your party fully, giving them complete DPS uptime if spaced right, at which point his loss of damage is likely more than compensated for by the 3 Narmaya you have been assigned to look after who didn't have to stop attacking ever to dodge / block / anything else.
@@antoniomolina3612 if youre sharing a tier with Ghanda to begin witn is it really much better? To be fair i assumed he was probably meant to be last, but the visualised list at the end reads to the contrary so i ran with it.
@@darkhero2A good Vane user can pop the bubble near the enemy so that the rest can still attack instead of dodging. Not much damage that time but still better than nothing.
Good list, but no way is Rosetta in the same tier as the worst character in the game currently Ghandagoza. Rosetta imho belongs in the B tier at the lowest. Anyway, thanks for the list, and I'm really looking forward to the new content, and your takes on it.
I kinda get the argument that Percival, Vaseraga and Rackam does leagues ahead of damage among the rest.. but thats mostly because of their ridiculous skill cancels giving them unlimited uptime for quick charges except rackam which I think that his aerial shot has stupid ass high damage cap for no reason. I just wished you kinda emphasize that part.. people might misunderstand this ranking unless they watch your other guides for those characters first.
Only if you wanna use rotter bug, Djetta overdrive surge a slightly slower animation so on 30 fps you can execute bug and deal a good amount of damage. Gran cannot use it
New drinking game: Everytime you hear, "... that being said," take a drink. Guarantee you'll be drunk quick. That being said, alcohol poisoning guaranteed halfway through video.
I disagree with your charlotta and Zeta take, you seem to be basing damage potential on combat dummy, you dont seem to be factoring the fact that both of them can sustain dps on bosses during mechanics, Zeta via aerial safety, and charlotta via invincibility, granting both of them millions of extra damage per quest while others are obeying mechanic phases.
Yes this comment! A lot of players don’t use stout heart which I think is an essential sigil for characters that need to keep combos up (Yoda for example) without getting interrupted which in turn grants more dps!
Put Rosetta in C tier is a crime. She is not my main, but a late game rosetta ( i tested ), can easily carry any boss run, she have infinite def/atk/regen buffs, with no CD, and do tons of damage. She's a monster, and easy to play.
Lategame is not endgame. She's useless DPS wise and Defensive buffs that aren't debuff immunity and invincibility are useless in endgame unless a tank is using stoutheart vs multibosses. She has to relocate roses against fast moving bosses, even with tycoon it's a hassle. Even if let's say the roses are always on the boss, they still do sht damage. This also limits her spiral rose spam as if the boss moves while she uses it then she becomes useless, and using it off CD is clunky because you don't always have the rose on the boss and also you have to get near the boss. The only buff she's good at is the ATK UP buff and only on certain characters like Charlotta or Rackam who has an insanely high Damage cap on their main rotations or Narmaya's dash attack which also has an absurd damage cap. Of course there's also some attacks like Zeta's loop ender or Vaseraga's charged double slash combo but it doesn't amplify their damage that much with a good build because you only need a few % more to reach cap with them.
@@Viewahh Well, i said late game, but i want to say about end game. Terminus weapon at max, max sigils and a minimun skill with the char, you carry any boss with 0 difficulties. for those who think the character is bad, get better in this game. @@canalaleatorio2169 Killing any boss is not equal to killing a boss as fast as you can. And you don't even carry anything endgame as everyone is a carry already. A pro rosetta with 500 hours and is a master is less effective than a Eugen who has put 50 hours. This means she is a bad character.

Personally i like alternating between Thousand Flames and Rain of Fury on Zeta. Thousand Flames actually does huge stun damage and since the Stout Hart sigil is so broken on her then running Flames of Fury just helps you survive more hits than usual. Also idk about other fights since i stopped using it after this but the Wingclipper skill in the Proto fight seems to be bugged since all it did was last half a second then reset the boss back to neutral and have him fly away from the ship instantly after, and i tried using it on his break state and neutral state having the same results every time.
I think the 6s of invulnerability the build provide lets you do a full combo which has a lot more value as you don't have as much time without it so it's not as good in that sense. You can just disregard any safety with it and keep on dealing damage. If you play Lance normally, even if you're good, you won't be dodging everything with just your blade dance, you use your block and dodge too
@darkhero2 I like the 6 sec I have full Nib O. But I don't really find the FoF necessary other than doing gal mag solo no ai lol but other than that have the 6 sec invul is huge that we agree on for sure. As a lance main I don't need FoF and I work GC on every fight. It is a nice safety net if one can not get the timing of dodge down though
Totally fair, at the end of the day, if we hit damage cap is all that matters and I do value having that safety net, which I totally understand a Lance main not needing it 👍
If you are a good Katalina player and I mean really good willing to break your fingers good and can maintain ares with the cancel and skill tech then her dmg and utility skyrockets immensily as you only lose Ares when the boss pushes you away or some other annoying cutscene plays. I gave up on her because most of the time can't tell what the fuck is happening with the stupid camera and all the other players skill effects happening on screen I always drop Ares even though I can maintain him in the dummy pretty much infinite. She is like Charlotta easy to learn and extremely hard to master. But with Charlotta not mastering her is not so bad because without her dodge cancel tech she still deals respectable dmg while Katalina does not, lol.
I played a lot of Katalina, and although I like her playstyle very much I wouldn't put her even on A tier. The way the Ares gauge works is very bad. If Azure Sword is on cooldown, you have to use her combos to fill it up again. The problem is that the gauge stops filling up half way through and it won't leak to the other half until it's "blinking", doesn't matter how powerful is the combo you used. And as far as I know we can't do anything with half gauge, so for me it doesn't make any sense. There are also a lot of things that can interrupt the flow of your combo when Ares is summoned.
Rosetta is my favorite but I agree she needs some tweaks to her rose mechanics. She's a jack of all trades, master of none in a team game where there are very strong alternatives.
So you have to take these lists with a grain of salt. They are made with apexing in mind (never getting hit with mechanics always having uptime on boss) because if you try to play a character you don't know or like you'll either be dead or lost so the list doesn't matter. Play whoever you like and have fun. It's a game at the end of the day and every character is cool and BA in their own way.
Yeah the game's quite balanced (a part from a couple of standouts), and it's also quite easy. You can totally play with any character, do well and have a good time! 👍
I've played this game for 400 hours without AFK farming while using multiple characters, and this list is accurate except for a few characters, but mostly I disagree with Id, Rackam and Charlotta. CC is very valuable in this game simply because it can skip overdrive>bloodthirst by using CC on the boss the moment they "overdrive roar". DPS is such a blinding thing but most characters(aside from Ghanda and Rosetta) can do very close DPS. Rackam and Charlotta have absurd DPS but they have a lack of CC's which should bring them down to A tier. They are only S tier when they have a teammate that can concsistently CC the boss the moment they overdrive, but are A tier outside of it. Meaning they are generally A tier(and tbh, even lower cause they are less useful when there's no CC to stop bloodthirst). Because of this imo, you should put them below the CC characters. Id has a CC AND he has decent DPS against bosses(not against the training dummy cause ID's DPS depends on the bosses size). Not only that, he can double CC against proud bosses that die in 30s-1m(e.g. red dragon) by slow>transform>slow. tbh he is better than Rackam/Charlotta if used properly(except for mag/Gallanza fight cause they smol, but Char has a similar problem which is somewhat remedied by cancelling). I have no comments on Ferry as I refuse to use her unless they change the SBA spam gameplay. A small nitpick but Percival should be lower than Vaseraga as Vaseraga's CC has an absurdly low CD if used correctly. He can use it 3-4 times in 1m30s against bosses like Pyet-A(and kill it in that timeframe). Also, Io should be the best because she can consistently stop overdrive before bloodlust and cancel it out HERSELF while Vaseraga/Percival needs to perfect dodge the "overdrive roar">slow then charge which is not consistent. Eugen is debatable as while he has a good consistent CC like IO, his DPS can't burst out of overdrive like the other three. Katalina should be lower, her CC is not consistent like Lancelot as she is mostly out of range when the bosses overdrive and if she perfect dodges, Ares get's cancelled. She can use the jump from her combo starter/finisher to avoid the "overdrive roar" but it's not very consistent because of the delay. Her saving grace is face tank drain tanking vs Gallanza and multi bosses, but her DPS still isn't good enough to make up for it. She should be lower than Narmaya. Also, Narmaya over Zeta simply because Narmaya doesn't need to perfect dodge the overdrive roar for her CC since it's a parry, has a lower CC CD, and she can burst them down during that timeframe. Zeta's paralyze is better but she needs to perfect dodge and she can't burst them out before the paralysis ends.
REALLY hard to take this seriously when you say lack of damage on Vane. You've clearly never tried going with his unique for skill CD on finisher. That, plus supp, he gets his skills back after two combos. And there's very few characters in the game who can possibly outdamage him. And this also means his bubble is up so often it's there for pretty much every mechanic there is. On this one, you flubbed it, strictly by saying he's lacking damage.
This is pretty cope. Vane does not have that kinda dps, i am sorry lol. Absolutely great character but trying to pretend he is out damaging a majority of the cast is laughable.
When you have characters dealing 45-50M easily and Vane does 25-30M yes, he lacks damage. Not discrediting the rest of his kit, but damage is the simplest to measure, and he doesn't reach those numbers.
As a vane main, i have to agree with the video here, vane does less damage than other characters, that's just math, that doesn't mean he does bad damage, but be aware vane's role in a party is to take hits and shrug them off, not to deal damage, quit crying because your character doesn't do everything better than other characters, just be happy you have triple the survivability as the others
I think Vane becomes overly redundant in end-game and if the cheese gets fixed in the network patch, I think both Rackam and Percy will drop a full 2 tiers. Also, if you consider non-singular encounters only Eugen, Narn, and Ferry would be higher than C.
MVP means nothing. You get a ton of points by just buffing or shielding. You can get MVP as Vane by literally doing nothing besides popping the bubble twice during mechanics phase Please don't use it as a way to measure how good a character is...
Still. having a 100% defense buff uptime and almost 100% poison uptime, can heal via regene or via bouquet, very solid burst with lost love and the iron maiden+spiral rose combo...Sure she requires a bit of skill and boss knowledge to constantly have your roses lvl 4 and well placed on bosses and cant paralyze I'll give you that, but I just think C tier is harsh. We can disagree tho, oh well. The video is still good anyway I agree with everything else@@darkhero2
tier list are not definitive in the long run. Just an opinion generally. I personally don't rank rosetta as low as he does here. Her roses being able to stay on top of enemies during long damage phases of bloodthirst and inability to attack covers a lot of lost damage that no one else can inflict since they can't be touched. her constant buffs and utility are great. Her value will be recognized a LOT more if they ever nerf potion hoarder or outright make some quests unable to use items perhaps. But that's just my theory anyway
