Step 1: Secure the keys Step 2: Talk to Reznov Step 3: Rain fire Step 4: Unleash the horde Step 5: Skewer the winged beast Step 6: Wield a fist of iron Step 7: Raise hell Step 8: Freedom
I really liked Zetsubou cuz it's simple but hard. It is all just getting things which makes sense to me plus the EE and the feel of the map serve each other perfectly
actually the opposite. it's complicated but easy. The steps are easy but you have to multitask at the first 10 rounds since you want to build the shield, gas mask, kt 4, skull of nan sapwe, and the challenges.
@@aidenjoe4533 Yeah it's harder cuz of all the doors so you usually don't have good gear but the EE itself isn't super complicated, it's just getting things. And only two steps of the EE use the plant system which I didn't mind
Man, the Origins opening cutscene is probably among the best we've had for the Primis crew, second would probably be The Giant. I find it manages to make every character look and feel badass, which is usually hard to do without making players look at one in particular and decide "I like that one and no other"
Even tho origins started the "golden era" of quests, its like it brought fans like myself in, but pushed away casuals, bo1 was the perfect match up of casual and for fans, it was a simple formula that stuck in everyone's heads forever. Black ops 1 was my first zombies mode for COD and my favourite, while bo3 was a close second because the mod was certainly made for fans who love tedious fetch quests, even origins and mob of the dead fall under this category.
Did the forsaken ee within 3-4 playthroughs of the map, and loved it. I feel like it was a step down in difficulty from mauer, but it was so logical to follow. 3 big crystals spawn, 3 orbs are clearly targets. Only needed a guide for the satellite step. It felt good being able to actually solve some steps myself.
To this day, my best mate and I still randomly play through the BO3 easter eggs, they were just that fun. Perfect thing for experienced zombies players to kick back, have a chat, and chill to.
No one will agree with me but here goes 29: Classified round 150 28: Classified wonder weapon ee 27: Transit 26: Die rise 25: Ascension 24: Call of the dead 23: Mob of the dead 22: Outbreak 2 21: Die machine 20: Forsaken 19: outbreak 18: Firebase z 17: Moon 16: Mauer der toten 15: Shang 14: Shadows 13: Nine 12: Voyage 11: Buried 10: Alpha Omega 9: Dead of the night 8: Blood of the dead 7: Revelations 6: Gorod 5: Tag der toten 4: DE 3: Zetsubou 2: Ancient Evil 1: Origins
For me I prefer Easter eggs from the old era. Before Black ops 3. Like my favorite one for the longest time was moon. And I believe my absolute favorite one would be buried Easter egg richtofen version. Just because Richthofen as a character a lot. So I liked seeing him succeed once again in the buried Easter egg. If you chose his path and you chose his path in the other two Easter eggs. For me I don't believe buried even with its Richtofen feels as good as Richtofen beating everyone in Moon but for me it's still very fun and I enjoy the most.
Just completed Dead of the Night for the first time, and I must say, it truly is an underrated map and Easter Egg. I would go as far as to say that it is one of my top 5 favorite EE’s so far, only really held back by the countless special enemies the map has. Truly an underrated gem.
Shangri La would be near the bottom for me, solely because I've only had the opportunity to even attempt it just once. I can't remember how fun or not it was because I only did it once 9 years ago. All 4 player easter eggs are down near the bottom because they basically are inaccessible for me. Its a shame, I really want to like these easter eggs. Gorod's EE is bottom tier. A good easter egg should be one you can master without the need to use an external source. Ofc when we are doing any EE for the first time we have a guide up, but with enough practice you'll just know all the steps and you can do it all without looking away from the screen. Gorod breaks this rule, twice. The valve step requires a website to tell you the order. It might be possible to skip the website if you understand the equation, but since its timed (And oh god does Gorod like putting you on a clock), I don't think its really possible. Its not hard, but its not a good sign. Secondly for the bomb step, it goes so fast you pretty much need to record it or write it down. On solo at least you can record the screen and pause the game to re-check the order, but on coop you don't have that luxury. This step could have been fixed if the screen kept showing the bomb order on repeat until you hit the control panel button again, then it stops showing you and you can start defusing. That way you can take a bit of time to memorise it or write it down. As this step currently is, its not fun, it just makes it easy to mess up and very easy to get a gameover if everyone's next to a bomb. But the EE isn't much better on solo either because on steps like the damaged vakarie you have to escort it + fend off zombies + not hurt it. I even had the mk3 and was using it as recommended, but it was impossible with all the zombies coming from everywhere. But the worst part by far is the Gersh step. If you fail it, there's a chance he will be gone forever. I've attempted this damn easter egg 3 times and 2 of them died to Gersh glitching out. In fact, I couldn't even find him before he glitched out. The map is too big to traverse on such a short time limit. I'm still yet to beat this EE and I hate it because that dragon fight looks so good but its locked behind "Sophia's challenges". These challenges kill the EE for me and makes it one of the worst EE imo. I wouldn't even try to do it again if it weren't a requirement for Revelations + the starting guns upgrade. Zet may be simple, but its chill and it doesn't hate your guts. (Also, to be clear, I like GK if you forget about the main EE. I enjoy the "race to round 20" speedrun thing and in theory beating the easter egg under a certain time giving you a permanent perkaholic is a good idea, but the issues with the EE make this beyond infeasible for me. I wish the other BO3 maps had that EE speedrun reward)
@@giratinaghost4069 idk about going that far, Die Rise's easter egg is...something else. I just don't like GK because a lot of the timed stuff is too unforgiving, reliance on external sources (Valve guide and bomb step) and the Gersh step is actually broken. If the Gersh softlock was fixed, I'd be much more willing to try and beat GK. iirc if you know how the Die Rise easter egg works, its not too hard to beat it again without external sources. Buried Easter Egg has the sharpshooter step which is timed, but from what I hear its a fair level of challenging and can be repeated if you fail. I don't think you can softlock that one.
I'm gonna be honest the fact that you put firebase z above ZNS is a crime, if you complain about the plant step being complicated in reference to the EE, then you're making it worse for yourself, you only need blue water and rainbow water unless your challenges requires purple.
Your logic for why the voyage egg isn’t hard can also be applied to the SOE egg. If you’ve done it before then it’s easy (the last train step). Couple questionable rankings on this list. SOE needs to be higher
Shadows of evil is and was the most painful easter egg I've ever done, on top of it being a 4-player-only easter egg. It's the least bit engaging with a very lackluster cutscene for all your hard work. A disappointing easter egg for an otherwise fun map. In-fact, I think he gave the map a little too much justice.
On thing with Cold War was it’s uniqueness , it never tried to copy the formula of any map minus die machine , it was constantly trying something new , wether those things be bad or good
4:13 "the average player can complete it with their eyes closed" Me with PTSD of this map's ee: are you indirectly saying that I don't know how to play?
In my opinion in black ops 4 ancient evil and death of the night have so much character thats why the eastereggs r good. Compare bows on DE with guntlets on AE
Y’all forgot Vangaurds Easter egg which has 2 sides just like BO2 here I’ll explain it Step 1: Uninstall game this step is the same for both ending Step 2: This is where you split up in to 2 paths play BO3 Zombies or Cold War Zombies we will start with BO3 Step 3(BO3): This step is easy to do. On any map (launch DLC Zombie Chronicles map) Get 420 kills with the Raygun or 69 kills with the main wonder weapon of the map (Apothican Servant Thunder fun Lightning bow ice staff ect) don’t worry if you die progress saves Step 4 (BO3): upon doing this you will hear the Shadow man laugh regardless of what map your on you will get A perkoholic (including PHD Flopper Vulture Aid and Who’s Whos and Tombstone the perk machines will spawn on every map) all maps unlocked and you get directors cut and no perk limit! Step 3(BOCW): This step is hard. You must get 420 kills with the Raygun papped 3 times on every map (including outbreak) and 69 kills with D.I.E Shockwave (including all elements) Rai Kay 84 CRBRS (including the 3 variants) and the Chryslax (savaged and stormbreaker modes) all of the wonder weapons must be their 3 pack a punched. And worry if you die because you’ll have to restart all over unless you completed a kill requirement Step 4(BOCW):Upon completion the Forsaken will laugh saying So you want to challenge me I have reinforcement we are going to end you. We are going to end your friends. Then we will end everyone. Upon this happening you will get a perkoholic including Double Tap 3.0 and every BO4 perk (the perk machines will spawn on every map) and you unlock Zombie Chronicles 2 x Stranger Things crossover and a free unlimited battle pass (you don’t have to spend anything) and you get an insane amount of COD Points 115000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
"I don't get why Voyage was too complicated" GEE, I DUNNO, maybe because the map expects the player to learn about outdated 1920's astrology specifically to figure out where the planets are to shoot out of the sky??? At least it wasn't Algebra 2 like Attack of the Radioactive Thing.
Bro a lot of your opinions I agree with but one of my main opinions on a good Easter egg is based off of whether or not it has a good boss fight if I'm doing a challenging easter egg such as mob the easter egg is fun to have a mediocre boss fight doesn't seem worth it
@@SC-kl9cu Not if you count all Small Easter Eggs step in it, plus the Pantzers are OP on DE. It’s definitely easier than others like Origins, but not the easiest either.
Hot take: Cold War EE’s are the best because they’re chill and simple and don’t require 3 hours of your time and doing stupid mind bending puzzles that require ridiculous memorization of codes and stuff, idk just my opinion
I just want to say, with soe you don’t need competent people if you are skilled enough to painstakingly micro manage everything and are fine with losing hope in humanity afterwards, a tall ask but as someone who has guided 2 players who’ve never touched the game before and a player who doesn’t do ee’s through it, I can confirm it’s possible
You didn't mention the biggest issue of Blood of the Dead: you literally have to wait Round 17 to do it. It was such a lazy way to make it difficult for the average player, and it really brings nothing to the easter egg itself for skilled players. Chaos maps are underrated, but I feel like what brings them down for most players is ultimately the concept itself. I don't launch Zombie modes to fight werewolves and vampires, elephants and tigers, Gods and pegasus. I know, previous games did have "special zombies", but it wasn't most of them. In fact, the zombies in Chaos storyline aren't even zombies, they're just evil creatures. Chaos should have been its own _separate_ game mode, because these maps just don't feel like you're playing the same game. The worst easter egg has to be Classified, since the only step was to reach Round 150, which is impossible for almost everybody (especially since the map was unstable). As for Origins, it's a great quest but the big problem is the map itself. The mud, the very linear architecture, the thin roads, all of that coupled to the Panzers, which are either stupidly hard (when you're not geared up) or completely useless (when you have a staff and you can instant kill them). Also, it's too long for a solo player, and being one myself, it's really annoying ^^'. In my opinion, Der Eisendrache was the "perfect" version of Origins. They made it possible for a solo player but still made it dense enough for 4 players. Also... bows are way cooler than staffs, change my mind x).
HE FINALLY GOT A SPONSOR!!!!!!!! P.S. You should 100% make a cod perk machines rankings video. I made a tier list linked in the description of my video if you want to use that for reference.
My list (only including the ones I’ve completed): 22. Firebase Z 21. Die Maschine 20. Forsaken 19. Mauer Der Toten 18. The Final Reich 17. Alpha Omega 16. The Darkest Shore 15. Gorod Krovi 14. Rave In The Redwoods 13. Revelations 12. Zombies In Spaceland 11. Tag Der Toten 10. The Beast From Beyond 9. Der Eisendrache 8. Blood Of The Dead 7. Ancient Evil 6. Shaolin Shuffle 5. IX 4. Attack Of The Radioactive Thing 3. Zetsubou No Shima 2. Dead Of The Night 1. Voyage Of Despair
Man the Shang egg took me forever to do. I did it with 3 randoms. And the worst player took the stone and only one person can pick it up. It was the only thing I needed to do moon. Luckily my friend had everything for moon
How could anyone go from Black Ops 3 to Black Ops 4 and cold war honestly the cod series has just fallen off for me personally I miss the arcade feel of zombies but each to their own
