C3s are the absolute epitome of beauty in a car to me. Specifically the 1968-1970, and the 1978-1979 years. I own a '79 currently. Theyre just so good..

I saw your short and thought you were crazy for putting the c2 number 1. For it isn’t but watching this makes perfect sense. The c1 to c2 is night n day. I think you hit the nail perfectly with this ranking after hearing your full explanations

Duntov designed the C3 so the front end wouldn’t act like a wing at 140 mph- a problem he noticed was happening with the C2s. Even my C4 I had in high school got a little floaty in the front end at 137. I’ve maxed out my 82 C3 around 130 mph and I was happy the front wheels didn’t get floaty- which is a testament to Duntov’s problem solving in the C2 era.
My personal favorite is the c5. I love the design it’s pretty much the c4 done right. It’s got just the right amount of power that previous generations lacked and is relatively affordable for now at least and it sounds amazing. Although if I could have any corvette it be the zr1 c7 for obvious reasons but there ain’t no way in hell I’ll afford one lol. Also I think the pop up headlights are awesome.
Dog I'm liking as much as I can, hope u get that C7 brother. Personally I prefer the C6 with its smother style and simply its price for performance, even the base model cars. It's a wonder that you can get a car that can compete with porsches of its time for 20k and some minor bolt-ons
I think the C3 needs to sit higher up on the list because of the C7 put them side by side and you’ll find to many similarities between them I mean to me the C7 is a modern C3 with much more power

Only considering personal preference but not things like cultural impact, my ranking would be: C6 C1 C7 C2 C5 C3 C8 C4 This ranking is very out of the pocket and not that accurate because special trims like the C3 collector's edition are one of my favorite corvettes.
The only corvette that I didn't care much for was the C4! Hold the C3 wait for the C5 problem solved. I absolutely love my C7! The C8 is growing on me, but coming in second on this list to the C2 especially considering the legendary 63 split window coupe, I can live with!
