One of my clients, back in 2012 had a brand new (couple months old, by the time I first saw him with it) ZR1 in that beautiful blue, elite. Let me drive it around for a day. Didn't do anything crazy with it but all I remember was how it drove, how it sounded and how that fucking shifter felt and sounded....still to this *day* do I want a blue elite ZR1. My Goodness.
As much as I love the Venom F5 and revolve my entire personality around it, it's actually quite of a controversial car. Hennessey was infamous for scamming customers of their Vipers back in the 2000s, claiming to have tuned them, but ultimately never delivering them, which is one of the reasons the F5 is hated. Secondly, it was in development hell since 2014, claiming speeds of 290 mph by that time, which led many people to think it would never even reach anywhere near 300 mph. Back in 2021, it reached 272 mph as part of a test run, but finally, Hennessey confirmed the 300 mph record attempt to be done later this year.

Im sorry i just never liked the new mustangs i think they are overrated and not my favourite design, but i think its performance is amazing, and im proly just not understanding the hype, but im ok with it i am very honest rn to be true but still tho, i may also think its fine im exited about the gtd just not as much as other car guys. Unpopular Opinion but the S7 Backside is kind of wonky. If they had maybe curved the back and added headlights the same way i would have loved it even more. (Still a great car, don't get me wrong.)
I love SSC and they're from my home state, i think they have a good chance of breaking 300 in the future. the striker and the ultimate aero also look wild
2017 dodge viper is the best car America has ever produced (excluding the ford GT) I will die on that hill yes its better then the corvettes even 7 years later
the first time I saw the 5th gen I already knew it's goin to be my dream car but when the zl1 version came out I fell in love even more that car is just perfect imo
Purists hate the c8 as it isnt a "real corvette" because its mid engine, its not the fastest corvette ever(both the c6 and c7 are faster, but its better at turning and the zr1 c8 is likely going to be faster) and is apparently a "knockoff ferarri," but I still like it. Its not the best looking (that still goes to the c7 z06, c6 zr1, and c3 imo), but the c8 z06 is legitimately a supercar, not just a sports car that is as good as one, but a real supercar, and people who love dissing corvette hate that. People joke that no one ever gets the base stingray, but honestly its still great and holds street prescence (even a c7 stingray isnt too common where I live, while in southern states alot of people see it multiple times a week or even daily, here in the northeast I see alot of porsches however). I forget the man who came up with Chevy making a sports car line, but he envisioned a mid engine sports car that want going to be too pricey like 40 or 50 years ago, when mid engine wasnt really done. Now its become a thing with supers and hypers, people think it devieates from corvette, and others say it just makes it a wannabe ferarri(which is dumb, the c8 looks like a mid engine c7, which just happens to look not too different from the body of a 458, its pure coincidence.) Im personally very excited for the zr1, and the c9 thats coming in a few years, I wanna see how far they can improve on mid engine, perhaps by 2033(not sure the exact year but it should be around 2033-35) theyll have the zr1 c9 out and itll break 220 mph stock and be great on the track. I dont wanna see them pull out of it just because a few people dont like it, I think they are capable of creating an insane american supercar if they can continually improve on the mid engine layout and gearing to surpass the speeds that the c6 and c7 achieved.
