Interesting vid! Editing wise, the constant camera expand/shrink is distracting, especially when mid sentence. I appreciate the sample pictures for things.

Hi, Slovakian here. I have to mention one tip with Slovakia. Aside from the letters which we don't have but f.e. Poles and Czechs do, we have regional thing on signs when you enter a town. It's a small blue sign under the main bigger one, it's mainly in the south in Hungarian language and in the east in Ukrainian language (but that are just a few villages)

I know this would be a huge undertaking, but I think an amazing idea for a series would be a guide to all tips for individual countries and playing some rounds on that country to show examples. (as far as I know) im pretty sure this hasnt been done before, and it would be super helpful for beginner/intermediate level players, as well as a reason to play the specific map.

I got Andorra and it was fully snowy and I thought it was Antarctica or Greenland. Quite a streak breaker.

Im from Norway and the yellow stripes in the middle of the road just gives away that you are in Norway instantly. Its definately a never miss on country streak.

i’ve never seen any in the bahamas, chad, or djibouti, but mali actually does have some official coverage! there are 6 specific cities (bamako, djenne, timbuktu, niono, mopti, and gao) that all have google coverage in and outside some historical mosques. there is also a very small amount of official coverage in the middle of nowhere, a bit east of mopti, and i’m not sure why it’s there.

13:10 Estonia can be very easy if you see any text somewhere. Just learn to detect that unique language. 15:03 there are dashed sidelines in Finland on Åland islands. That can be tricky because that area looks very much like Sweden, but the road pavings are usually reddish on Åland.

great vid as per! although i do think that this style of editing isnt suited for geoguesser content. far too fast paced. the constant resizing of your webcam is really distracting, and in my opinion the cuts to reduce blank space during sentences is a bit excessive, and seems unnatural at times. with no downtime it just feels like a constant barrage of information, and gets really hard to watch after awhile. really appreciate the example pictures! super helpful personally i find it so much easier to learn when videos like this are more chill, i much prefer the slower paced editing style! really hope you can find a happy medium with editing, cant wait to see more of your content!

I'd love this content, but I agree with several comments that the face-cam constantly sizes is distracting. Also did you do something to remove the audio empty space? Non-stop pacing like that tends to drive me away from vidoes. You do amazing content though and keep it up!

I don’t know how reliable this is, but sometimes when you think it looks fairly balkan and you see some not-too-clear but somewhat distinguishable autumn coverage, it can be Croatia. It’s a meta I found myself and it’s helped me a couple of times but not too sure how reliable.

if youre in a country with the Cyrillic alphabet there are some unique characters for a lot of countries. for me what makes Bulgaria a lot easier is the use of ъ, correct me if im wrong but in most other cyrillic countries this is rarely used as it relates to the palatalization of consonants and has basically been phased out. whereas in bulgaria ъ is used as a vowel "uh", so will be in the middle of words. I realise this may be practically useless as if youre somewhere with posters there may easily be a url advert etc, but could help with roadsigns maybe

I was hanging out with some friends on geoguessr playing 3v3 duels (we are all 1200+ rated) and we all guessed Australia but it was South Africa. The funniest thing was that someone missckicked a d ended up guessing the ocean by Maldives and ended up winning the game

I.was on a 20 country ADW streak the other day and got a Peru round literally miles, no joke 5 or 6 miles from the Chilean border and i guessed Chile (i know stupid of me to not look at the Google car but i was really confident that it was northern Chile and the road lines were white) and was very sad. 😅

for me Singapore is the #1 easiest but also Japan just because I can practically see any single thing visible and determine it is Singapore or Japan

Right off the bat i disagree with albania in somewhat difficult and australia in very easy. Australia has many similarities to nz, sa and na. Albania on the other hand have so many things that guarantees that you are in albania such as language, architecture, rift, car panels (both red and blue distinguishable)

For me every country would be in very hard lol

If you see old MB its Albania and if you see eu tag on plates and russian letters its Bulgaria those too, are quite easy and I am average player.

Like the video but the camera constantly zooming in and out is completely unnecessary.

I really like the video, but I’ll echo the other comments and say I really don’t like the resizing of the facecam. I think that can be a good edit sometimes but here it’s too often and just distracting. This kinda fast-paced editing just doesn’t really feel right, and I think that would be even more true for an actual game of geogeussr, which is more analytical than I think this editing style allows.

What? AU and NZ look exactly the same in many urban locations, literally impossible unless you see some distinct clues. (same issue as CA vs US, but only applies to urban locs) Rural locations are very easy indeed. SanMarino: super easy. Italian looking but usually not italian plates. Also you can see a trashcan in most locs and the lightish green color is basically uniqe, sets it apart from IT.

Sweden is interesting it can look like denmark Finland and norway up northwest it looks a LOT like norway i Don’t Think You have had rounds there
