I just remembered something. The "Through the Woods" doll line looked like they were really going to a themed party because they really were going to a themed party in the webisodes (Blue Moon Forest Fest, which was apparently a huge "hex-clusive" party so ... 😅)
The reason Hat-tastic Cerise doesn’t have a hood is because in the webisode, Cerise reveals to her friends that she has wolf ears. She usually wears a hood to hide her ears.
Just Sweet Blondie is probably my favorite eah doll, I feel like they managed to capture the essence of sweet lolita in her! I painted the details on her accessories, including the sprinkles on her shoes! However, the colors are so off in the stock photos and it's so weird. I wish the shrug was that color but it's actually a darker blue closer to her headband color, the tights are also darker and slightly sparkly, the yellow of her top is much more pale, and the cupcakes are pastel purple. Side note, I've been doing my own rankings alongside yours, and I have a separate category from the tiers that lists the ones that are so different from the cartoon. Kitty is perpetually listed there, I ranked her spring unsprung look way lower because I can't ignore what she could have been 🥲Cerice is there bc it's a crime they didn't give her her wolf ears. Rip Dutchess, she's banished there too. So is the wonderland line, they all got the plastic cage things that the Raven and Briar dolls have but didn't put them on the rest of them??? I'm attempting to learn blender so I can get someone to resin print Lizzie's, but I've never done any kind of digital art in my life. Just gimme the damn cage things Mattel.
I fully just didn't decide to take into account that she is connected to Little Red Riding Hood 😂 I still don't love the way it looks for her character, but it definitely makes more sense now!
The first one’s head definitely looks very big to me so it’s not just you! Yeah I agree the Tea Party Cedar Woods looks very pretty and better than her core. I love the little lanterns with the Through the Woods dolls too. 😊 You are so right about Dexter and Raven 😂😂😂 Oh I remember the Spring Unsprung Cedar in stores! Most of these I don’t remember but I do remember her. Oh wow I really like the Kitty Cheshire core doll! I didn’t know they made 17” EAH dolls, honestly I didn’t realize they made this many dolls! 😮
Yeah I think there's like...around 200? The website I'm using as a reference has 212 listings but those do include dragons and toddler style dolls, so I'm not 100% sure
Honestly, I wish the background characters have dolls, but their's are too detailed. Honestly want the Hansel and Gretel dolls, most of the boys Sparrow, and the other two band mates, Chase Redford, Humphrey Dumpty, and for the girls are Ramona Badwolf, Little Bo Peep, etc.
Def Ramona Badwolf and Little bo peep. For me the dolls i'm most wistful we didn't get are of characters who usually get dolls, had an appearance in the show and a fit for the line, but still didn't get dolls. Like for legacy day, thronecoming, and dragon games we got robbed.

Who knows it might not make a difference either. I also feel like some of the issue is having to rely exlusively on stock photos and having no basis of comparison, like most of these look way better in person or the stock photo is unflattering sometimes. I'm so glad today they give dolls MULTIPLE stock photos now. Like I love mh Twyla but the stock photo for her g1 core doll is trash. That one stock photo where it looked like maddie's shoes were paler than the dress, not an actual issue on the doll itself. Another thing is I feel like knowing what theses dolls look like next to a mh or lol omgs and rh would help too, or at least explain why its so bad lol. In terms of popular and unpopular opinions alot of your rankings in terms of which dolls are better than which are relatively normal, just others would have most of these in higher tiers. Not courtly jester tho. Everybody hates courtly. I just didn't banish her for still trying to keep most of her details. One legit problem with eah is especially with later releases the characters in show look spectacular and have so much detail and the dolls either omit or simplify. Way too wonderland was the first major line to do that, some characters even had slight color alterations on their dolls. Courtly looks TERRIBLE compared to her show appearance. The alterations or detail omissions get worse from here excluding collector dolls. Doll lines that actually have no episode and are just budget releases: mirror beach, enchanted picnic
They can get cheaper. I takes daily ebay searches sorted by newest listings. But I have seen much cheaper numbers for Lizzie sometimes yes even complete. I got her just without her purse for around 30. Thats the total including her shipping. I searched for months tho so its worth mentioning it takes patience I found her because I've been filling out my eah collection
I guess what you have to understand is maddie IS wonderland, like she was born there and she acts a lot more "wonderland" than the others so she won't be too different from her og design
I didn't even notice 😂 sometimes my camera seems to skew the perspective a little bit, so that definitely has something to do with it. They also just need to be rearranged and fixed up tbh 😅
