perfect timing for when i needed more dareloth in my life edit: one thing that can make khajiiti warhelm really useful is in pilfer decks because it will trigger the wielder's pilfer effect on the turn you play the creature which is pretty powerful GLAD TO FINALLY SEE SOME RESPECT ON SPIDER LAIR'S NAME time to go build a deck around mage's guild retreat to justify it's cost too i don't think the renegade magister would work with ancano, because the second burst of damage isn't an action, it's dealt by the creature - only the first burst is from an action so if the creature doesn't die from that, the damage renegade magister deals would not have breakthrough unfortunately (unless you gave it breakthrough via improvised weapon, mundus stone etc. but that's a moot point) i'd definitely say that sotha sil could be pushed into s-tier (not just because he's my favourite of the tribunal) because he's basically a defensive version of divayth fyr except the creatures are bigger and there's the potential for him to be a lot cheaper if you have another exalted creature on the board as well. gotta give spear of embers credit for being the first usable spear in a tes game since 2002 :/ i would argue wispmother would be s-tier, at the very least a-tier, because it effect can apply to creatures that cost more than 2 if they have been discounted, so with stuff like seht's masterwork, red mountain etc. etc. you can get some pretty disgusting value when you end up getting 2 hands of dagoth at once for example made it to the end! very thorough and entertaining video of course, for some reason blue seems to be the colour i play with the least, but you've definitely convinced me to go build some fun combo decks with some of these cards. very excited for the neutral ranking as a lot of those cards are pretty whacko
Thanks for the great comment! I think a case can be made for many of the A tier cards to be bumped up, for sure. Intelligence is a very powerful color. And Mages Guild Retreat is fun! I actually do have a video that tries to use it on the channel - it's called Stealer of Dagoth or something like that. Fun card when it pops off.
@theemerdareloth yeah, it's a shame but I think the magister is definitely still an incredibly powerful card in and of itself and still deserves its placing - it feels like a card that one could definitely build a powerful control deck around
@@theemerdareloth It’s sounds easy but I feel like finding the right attributes to make an actual good deck from only S Tier would be a challenge. Though it probably involves Intelligence if you want easy mode. Hopefully you do make it in 4 months when you finish the tier lists!
s - 18 a - 39 b - 65 c - 46 d - 25 f - 1 quite expectedly (at least for me), intelligence is the best attribute so far - most combined "s" and "a" cards with fewest combined "c", "d" and "f" cards. I have some thoughts on cards placement but would rather discuss it live on stream than in comments :)
I LOVE Hatchery Meddler and agree its slept on, He's anti invade for gates creates a body, can make high health creatures easier trades, you can swap your own creatures health to avoid finish off or leaf lurkers and to do favourable trades, can even swap his own health to trade or survive a lightening bolt, Id put him in S tier Also love keeper of whispers, mute does does damage the ccard but its a solid body and good in a deck that needs defense from silence
Just started watching. So excited for another one! Right off the bat, though Alfiq Conjurer is S tier not A. One of the best tempo cards in the game if not the best. For 6 you get 8/6 worth of stats with guard and breakthrough for 6. OR you get 10/8 worth of stats with guard and ward for 6. Borderline broken card TBH. Paired with temple conjurer, you are getting a 5 cost and a 6 cost that that both put 2 bodies on the board and keep massive pressure on your opponents, but even alone all it takes is 2. Also works with reflective automaton. The consune effect is too strong to be A tier and not hard to pull off consistently. Definitely not contingent on atronach decks. Used in most midrange blue decks. Blue is the strongest color so there's alot of good options but this is one of the best Blue cards hands down.
@@theemerdareloth It's not a card I wish was as strong as it is. I think it's a little silly, but it just creates insane tempo if you land one after a temple conjurer or land more than one of these on turns 5-7.
My counter would just be that it's good only in specific decks, which is my point with it, whereas Laaneth can grab literally anything. I do agree that Crucible Blacksmith is a very good card, though.
Abnur Tharn for me might be the best overall card in the game I’ve used on ancano not alway my own, ayleid guardians (hows that for a reverse uno card) and even things like cornerclub gambler.
are you sure it's good to use him on cornerclub gambler? because drawing two cards is not her summon effect, it's an aura effect :) also, it always bugged me how he uses the summon effect of a creature, but at the same time uses his own stats (like, with odirniran necromancer or faded wraith). and that's why he is broken.
@@michaelbayley9432 nope, it's an additional aura effect. I knew it before, and now just double-checked - you discard a card and don't draw two cards the next turn, no matter what. check it for yourself if you want :)
