This video took way too long to make and upload (thanks in part to being lazy and a bull youtube community guideline strike). It's also mistake ridden so that's fantastic :\. anyways hope you enjoy it, the plan is to have a brickfilm out next week and a ranking after that so that's where we go from here. Also have covid which just bookends this rambling.
@@keegantripp1245 No, even if I thought Indy 5 stinks then it wouldn't change my perception on KOTCS. The fact is I thought Indy 5 was super flawed and poorly written but I genuinely did enjoy the movie. I give it like a 5.7/10. Crystal skull I give like a 4/10.
Personally the reason I liked these sets The vehicles and soldier figures both German and Russian it will probably be the last we will ever see any military vehicle or soldiers with actual guns
The first Lego set I have ever built was the Temple Escape as well as Temple Of Doom. I got them both for my birthday and I was so young that I didn’t know how to start building. My dad helped me with the first step in the instructions and I just took off from there. I love Indiana Jones and the sets are just fantastic. Truly one of the best Lego set lines out there.
@@Eadesgameplay sucks that they’ll keep pumping out Star Wars garbage because the weapons are fake and futuristic but good realistic movies will be skipped or watered down
I was born around 06 and was obviously not able to get lego indy but in proly 2012 or near there I was able to get my parents to get the set with the skull mask guys, so it holds a special place in my heart
I love the sets for the wave,i love how this is probably going to be our only time getting army mini figures.Sadly i only have one set and it’s all broken
Amazing vid man, I love the Indy sets so much but never got to buy any when they were available, really wish I could own them. also love how you describe the shanghai cars as looking like their from the 1930's, when the temple of doom takes place in the 30's
The Pilot of the Panagra Airways Plane is worth like 100$. The „boring“ Torso you described only came in this set and the 2008 Batcave (Bruce Wayne Torso) so yeah there’s your 100$ standart Pilot figure. The set is great it’s my spot number 1 actually. Second place is the Tresure Chase set because I like the German soldiers and the nice truck with the cloth piece. I got both these sets. Next is the Venice boat chase set
I just looked it up and the torso is about a $3.99 piece for me which is not a lot of money. But thank you for the feedback and loved seeing your opinion on these sets
Dude this was my favorite theme as a kid and I love all the movies still to this day even kingdom of the crystal skull and I’ll never understand why temple of doom gets so much hate too that’s my favorite but I recently got my hands on the crystal skull temple and it’s one of my favorite sets of all time
I only have the cairo set and the flying wing, ive always wanted the temple of doom set but i did buy a bunch of the minifigures, including mola ram, whos probably my favorite movie villain
Hey I know this video is over a year old so it's a bit late asking this, but what is the name of the song that plays during the number transitions between each set. It's so familiar, I've definitely heard it before and it's driving me crazy.
@@CRStudios For starters its really weird to hear this much swearing when talking about lego sets, or toys for kids in general. It's also extremely off putting to hear A) how often you do it, and B) how random and unnecessary it is. You sound like a 13 year old that just learned what swear words are. Trust me, saying "look at this f***ing printing" as oppose to "look at this printing" does not add anything. There are way more adjectives out there to use to better get your point across. Or at the very least put the swears where they actually make sense
While I can see your viewpoint I believe it does add something, and I grew up in a culture where swearing was and is normal so I honestly can say I don't find it weird. It's all just personal taste and experience and I think we can only leave it at that.
It’s nice to see a Lego RU-vidr who actually has a good sense of humor for a change. Subbed. Great video bro. Also, what do you think of the new Indy sets?
@@CRStudios You’re a racist and an ableist and to top it off you haven’t even seen the films you’re trying to talk about so like, your opinion really means nothing to me.
Set "Motorcycle chase" should have probably used the mold of Mutt's motorcycle for german bikes. It would have been much better in my opinion, and more true to the movie, as I believe the motorcycles in those scenes were some BMWs.
My top 3 favorite (worst to first) are temple escape, fight on the flying wing, and Shanghai chase. There wasn’t many sets back then that had 2 seater chassis pieces for cars. The Indiana jones sets had a bunch and I used them quite a bit for building my own cars. The Shanghai chase came with 2 of them, both different colors, and 5 figs for a smaller set. Couldn’t beat it at the time it was the best value and bang for your buck. The flying wing is a close second tho even now all these years later that plane still holds up incredibly well and could sit right beside any custom ww2 sets. And temple escape. So many memories when I got that set. One of the Lego play sets I played with the most. My least favorite of the line is the fighter plane attack from Last Crusade. The planes have too many studs and look very outdated, and the 2 main figs you’d get the set for came in a $10 one.
I was happy to hear the return in 2023 and can't wait, also I think Crystal Skull gets overhated I mean I understand because of the aliens but it could have been worse George Lucas could have gone with Dinosaurs in Temple of Doom so aliens doesn't seem as bad
