I’m biased too lol but I agree and Coors field will always have a special place in my heart. Never will forget Tulo hitting a foul ball that hit the top of the dug out roof on 1st base side and bounced 19 rows up right into my glove! I was ready for that ball surreal feeling catching it and everyone around me clapping. Still have the ball. Great memory
Never been to San Diego or have any connection to Petco Park. I must say aesthetically, it is the most underrated stadium. Love the outfield and think its gorgeous. I will say yall could do better than the name though!
Miller park. 1. The roof amazing!! Closes/open in like 2 mins. 2. You can bring in almost any food, a rarity in baseball parks. 3. Bernie's slide! 4. Great atmosphere! 5. Tickets are cheap, and so many deals you can go see a dozen games a year and pay maybe $15 in total!! 6. Tailgating, part of the experience, only possible with the parking!! 7. Great stadium in general!
There is a reason so many Chicago fans come to Miller Park to see games when they are not even playing the cubs. Your reasoning was unjustified, Miller Park is an undeniable S tier ball park. (Season ticket holder)
For someone who is born and raised in NY, you clearly dont know the history of baseball in the city. Citi Field is modeled off the look of Ebbets Field. Not sure what shopping malls you go to that look like historic baseball stadiums.
Yeah actually pretty fan friendly. You can chill by field level to get autographs up until game time then they kick you out. And there's a second level section is right in front of GM suite. So I was about 20 feet from Derek Jeter and company when I went
Baseball Highlights as a rational fan, yes. I’m a Red Sox fan but one aware of the many bad seats at Fenway. Fenway and Yankee stadium would be in A tier in my opinion. Fenway for the history, Yankees stadium for how nice it is.
Dude the stadium is trash. It’s old and boring. Unlike wriggley it doesn’t have a unique item. Getting to and from games it’s hell. It’s just not a good stadium
@@Howard_johnson yes it's old and kinda boring, what do you expect from a stadium that's old and has had minor renovations. I'm glad that now we're getting a BIG renovation which it looks like it's gonna look pretty cool. (You can go into Dodger Stadium for FREE during the off season so I went and it looks awesome)
Aww, Rogers Centre is super cool when the roof is open, you're right next to the CN tower and the late games get some really cool lights from the tower.
Petco park was ranked the number 1 ballpark in all of baseball last year. With the park in center field, the San Diego athletes hall of fame, and the uss midway exhibit its the best in the majors
Definitely looks a lot nicer with all the renovations: Left Field (that HD screen is so nice)... new Right Field wall and spot... and right-center renovation. Also, the view of downtown is so nice if you’re sitting on foul territory... the blue skies... man, I can go on lol
@@fdadodgers4108 As a Giants fan, I would put Petco in the #1 spot and Oracle at #2. Reason being is that it's just always cold at Oracle. Very rare to watch a night game and not have to put on like 3 layers lol.
I’m a big Cubs fan, I love Wrigley and glad you put it in S, but your reasoning for Fenway is questionable because Wrigley has the same problem. Fenway is a hell of an experience to go to
Craig317773 I completely agree. I’m a Twins fan and went to Wrigley once, I sat behind a pole (not a foul pole) in the stands far up on 3rd base side. Also since the Cubs won the World Series the ticket prices are the most expensive in baseball, but still a fun experience.
Biased, he puts Yankee stadium IN B and citi field in S???? Citi Field has more rats in the stadium then the amount of fans that come to see the Mets lose 10-0
Okay I’m a cubs fan and even I’ll say that Miller Park is a very nice park it’s very family friendly there’s a lot to do and overall a nice park obviously wrigley is better but Miller Park a solid A
Out of the 7 MLB stadiums I’ve been to: 1-Camden Yards 2-Citizens Bank Park 3-Progressive Field 4-Rogers Centre 5-Globe Life Park 6-Nationals Park 7-Guaranteed Rate Field
yeah people forget the dodgers and giants are originally ny teams not ca teams kinda like tupac originally being from ny and not ca LA’s actual team is technically the Angels
@@Infernalcx Yea I think especially with the NFL NY Giants some people do forget that SF used to play in NY too, same with the Arizona Cardinals and how they used to also play in St. Louis. Anybody who knows who Jackie Robinson was know the Dodgers used to be in Brookyln. The LA Dodgers still predate the Angels by 3 years, so I don't see why they aren't also LA's Team - especially with the better history and iconic logo. The Braves used to play in Milwaukee and Boston, so does Atlanta not have an actual team? John Smoltz & Greg Maddux would like a word with you...
A list of 9 thoughts from me: 1) Oriole Park is my personal favorite. Definite S-Tier. Love Oracle Park and PNC Park as well. They're also S-Tier stadiums for me. 2) Although I can't stand the Red Sox, I think Fenway belongs in the S-Tier as well. It's an American icon and they've done a great job with the upgrades the last 17 years or so. 3) Maybe I'm biased because I personally love the fountains and think the Royals have done a great job with it, but I'd put Kauffman Stadium in the A-Tier 4) I'd put Coors either in the high B-Tier or low A-Tier. Haven't been to it, but looks like a very nice and (perhaps somewhat) underrated stadium 5) Chase Field IMO should be in the C-Tier, maybe even the D-Tier (been there a number of times). To me, it feels like a giant parking garage or food court with a baseball field in the middle. It's an eyesore outside and doesn't really do much for me on the inside, either. Plus even the D-Backs themselves don't seem to care a lot for it. 6) Maybe this will sound harsh on the new Yankee Stadium, but I miss the old Yankee Stadium. Kinda wonder if they could have done work on it the way Boston worked on Fenway and Chicago remodeled Wrigley to make it look quite a bit nicer. Loved and respected the hell out of the history of the old Yankee Stadium. The New Yankee Stadium doesn't feel the same. But you're right, it's nice. As a result, I do agree with your B-Tier ranking for it. 7) Having been to Great American Ballpark a number of times, I'd put it in B-Tier myself. No, it's not a classic. But there are nice views from the upper level and I do get a legit baseball feeling when I go there, unlike in other stadiums. 8) Dodger Stadium isn't quite Fenway, Oriole Park, etc., but it's got a history and I personally loved my time there the one time I went. Because of that, I put it in the A-Tier of my own rankings. 9) I respect seeing you put the Coliseum in the D-Tier since most everyone seems to either put it in the F-Tier with the Trop or at least make it sound that way. But hey, I get i. Attendance isn't very high, seats aren't close to the field, there are always water issues and Mount Davis took the great view away. Hope the A's can get their new stadium at Howard Terminal like they want.
We just call it the arch, but it’s official name is something like Gateway Arch National Park. thanks for the s tier! (I would also like to point out that Busch stadium also usually puts a picture of the arch in the grass, if you know what I mean)
@@brianthomas2112 i mean he hasnt been there and i can see where hes coming from seing it on tv it does look kind of dark, but its obviously a great stadium
A baseball stadium is like nothing else. The architecture, atmosphere and uniqueness of each park set itself apart from other sporting venues. Everyone remembers the first time they walked through the concourse tunnel to reveal the beautifully manicured field and thousands of seats. Every park is different on and off the field. There's nothing like it.
Angels is easily A tier the seats are really comfortable it’s really kid friendly it’s the 4th oldest stadium but looks 15 years old it’s in a really good location and tickets are cheap
As a Cubs fan, Wrigley is my favorite but Sox Park is pretty awesome, that layout is simple enough to do a whole lap around the stadium, on top of that, taco trucks? Churro station? Sox Park is up there with Wrigley and other top stadiums
i don’t understand the hate it gets… although it has the worst name , its really a pretty nice stadium. not top 10 or anything but not not bottom 10 either
Great list Marc! Glad you put Camden Yards where it belongs. I’m an O’s fan and I say the park is elite, so I’m glad we agree on that! But I know me and you and everyone can agree they’re as far from elite as it gets. 😂😂😂
If you’ve been to Kaufman Stadium in KC than you know it belongs in the S tier. Literally one of the best fan atmospheres and the stadium is just incredible
I totally do not agree. Very bland ballpark. absolutely nothing to do before or after a game. The sight lines are horrible if you sit in the lower deck underneath the overhang. horrible restrooms. a 28 acre parking lot is not good. Its in the middle of nowhere..nothing....empty...boring
When you come to Cincinnati, take the tour and go to The Banks, it’s a whole strip of bars and restaurants outside the stadium within 200 yards. Great atmosphere when they’re winning, but as the first pro baseball in history, us fans expect more out of the FO. But the atmosphere for me has always been great.
Nice list overall, fun video to watch. Things I don't like (lol) 1. Citi Field over Petco Park is a travesty 2. Chase Field is ranked too high IMO. No atmosphere, park is too big, nothing special, roof etc. Hard to believe you'd go to a game at Chase and Dodger Stadium and come out thinking Chase is better.
Miller Park and Chase field are extremely similar fundamentally, and generally people consider Miller Park to be slightly better because it's brighter insider and in better shape
Coors field is a top 5 ballpark. It is amazing, this is coming from a dodger fan. The nightlife around the stadium, the stadium itself, the views of the city and mountains surrounding. It’s awesome!
How I think it should be: S-Tier: Oracle, Fenway, Wrigley A-Tier: Minute Maid, Coors, Busch, Kauffman, Citi, Target, PNC, Citizens Bank B,C,- Tier: basically all of the other parks are interchangeable between here D-Tier: Oakland Coliseum F-Tier: Tropicana
Mark listen buddy miller park is one of my favorite stadiums to watch a game at. The atmosphere is amazing, the food fairly good, there is a one dollar hot dog day, the fans are great, and the stadium is never empty.
I am a huge D-Backs fan and Ive been to a ton of games at Chase Field but, If you ever go up to the roof and watch it open, it looks like its broken... the concrete all around the park is cracked.... Go D-Backs!! I am pulling for the Mets for a playoff spot so that you will have epic vids;)
I just went to the Pirates vs Phillies game in PNC Park on July 21 for the 1st time and I had an amazing time. The park is so beautiful. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with PNC Park.
guaranteed rate field makes up for it in food, top tier. And for playoffs the fans went crazy with the black out games, Arod and David Ortiz said that was one of the loudest most intimidating parks they have ever seen
Yankee stadium isn’t iconic. It’s 10 yrs old, you get overcharged for your ticket and then for everything else when you’re in there. it just feels like Times Square in baseball form- no personality and just a bunch of billboards. Old yankee stadium was iconic and you could feel the history. Is it “nice”? sure. Does it still kinda suck? Absolutely.
@@dandar4843 true yeah that was a year and a half ago my comment 😅😅 but yeah I agree now it should be b tier. The only food they have is basically hotdogs, burgers, and popcorn
New Yankee Stadium will never live up to Old Yankee Stadium. I caught a game there in 98 and 99 and you definitely felt that there was an atmosphere that was really special
Sebadiah23 as someone who lives in tampa i can confirm this. The stadium is literally almost an hour away from tampa. I guarantee you attendance would skyrocket if they built a much more appealing stadium in actual tampa
The Coliseum is so much fun to go to. As someone from Oakland (Giants fan tho) I’ve been to tons of games and despite the fact that it’s not the prettiest Ballpark I always enjoy it. I know attendance isn’t great but the fans that are there are great fans. The A’s have hands down some of the best fans in baseball and the whole ballpark just has a vibe you couldn’t get from TV. Definitely recommend going there at least once. Tickets are cheap as hell so if you’re already going to make a trip to Oracle Park, you can’t skip going here.
As a Royals fan who's visited Kauffman Stadium several times, the scoreboard and field conditions alone are worth the price of admission. Never mind the amazing fans, atmosphere, fountains, vending, food, and surprisingly tasty beer. Even when the Royals are losing 100+ games per season, the experience is fantastic.
@@francemcgee4292 Don't worry little one, you being maliciously ignorant doesn't make us not exist. I suggest you let your caretaker speak for you from now on though, dribbling inbreds shouldn't speak.
@@francemcgee4292 lol...I agree...one the consistently emptiest stadiums in baseball. oh by the way, you cant see the scoreboard if you sit behind home plate under the overhang.....totally bad design for the more pricey tickets..i got screwed
I feel like you’re a poor person to be doing this. You haven’t been to most of these and a lot of these stadiums are much different in person than on tv. I’d put this video in the F tier.
as a cardinals fan and someone who lives in st. louis and has been to a lot of games at busch i didn't expect anything less than s tear it is sooooo nice and if you haven't been there u gotta go it's so nice
I'm a lifelong White Sox fan and I work part-time at Guaranteed Rate Field so I have plenty of bias but valid points as to why GRF should be no where near F tier. The food is rated near the top in MLB, there isn't a bad seat in the stadium and the park is very family friendly. Each home game we get a sprinkling of Cubs fans who love Wrigley but really enjoy the open concourses, fireworks, accessibility and tailgating at GRF. To say that "you wouldn't know the White Sox play there unless someone told you is a complete joke." The park still has the iconic exploding pinwheels and centerfield shower from Old Comiskey Park. Any fan with an appreciation for White Sox culture and history finds a lot of that in this park. You may not like this park but to give it an F is an utter loss my man. Rant over be easy.
Late to the party here, but: 1) Go to Cincy, I think you'll enjoy it. The river walk behind the stadium around the riverboat, huge screen... probably makes it an A. I recommend a day game, especially 2) If you go to a game at Miller Park, you'd probably rate it lower. The seats are uncomfortable, there isn't anything special, it feels old even though it was built in 2003. I really, really like the people there, one of my favorite places to visit. 3) Target Field is really nice, nothing special inside the stadium, but it's simply beautiful. 7:00 games in the middle of summer, has some really cool shadows. 4) I hear really great things about KC, their CF area is really cool. 5) I think you nailed Guaranteed Rate Field, Angels, Busch, all of which I been and are properly ranked. 6) I think the food at Citizen's Bank is great, might push it to a S? But I'm biased, GO PHILLIES!
