Praying Jameson Williams gets consistent & yah Laporta missed 1 game, campbell & johnson had him play light in the game vs TB as a show of strength. As for Amon-Ra, the news from Netflix's Receiver that he played most of the season with his oblique torn straight off the bone is INSANE. He really exemplifies Detroit Grit.
Idk why you guys put Zay Jones on there when Greg Dortch is above him on the depth chart, as well as our starting slot. Had great hands has good evasiveness. Pay attention to our roster more buddy. We never signed Zay with the intention of him starting games regularly, but more likely to relieve MHJ and Michael Wilson when they needs breaks.
We used ESPN depth charts and it had Zay listed as the #3 so apologies but I don’t know that it would’ve made much of a difference in our ranking anyways so
Can't commit to a QB who can't stay healthy and super inconsistent. Bears got Fields a DJ Moore and fields still missed a month of football and his passing numbers were ass as always.
That’s fair. I still don’t think they move off Fields if the Panthers pick wasn’t #1 but I see your point. I mean when you bring a guy as highly touted as Caleb you better give him a situation to succeed so I’m happy they’ve fully committed to him off the jump.
Well he hasn’t been a pro bowler in 3 years, hasn’t been an all-pro in 3 years, missed a combined 15 games in 2021 and 2022 and is over 30 not to mention YPG has fallen off a cliff and catch % was the lowest it’s been since 2016. He has started to regress due to age and injuries but is still a great receiver and should benefit from Ridley and Boyd coming in to take some of the load off him.
It’s possible but it will be tough. You have: 1/2: Kittle and Kelce 3: Mark Andrews 4: Hockenson 5: David Njoku 6/7: LaPorta and Engram 8/9/10/11/12 : Freirmuth, Gesiki, Kincaid, McBride, Schultz, and Goedert 13: Possibly Furgy This is a rough listing
Damn… you right can’t believe you’re the first to say anything 🤦🏼♂️ unless I wanna make the argument we’re talking about the core of the receiving corps lol
@@swivelchairsports It’s a very common mistake. Corps is not used a lot in normal conversation, but it’s just digging yourself deeper into the wrong hole to try and justify why “core” makes sense. You might say “this team’s core is full of veterans”, but you wouldn’t say “the 49ers have a fearsome linebacking core”.
"i think amari cooper is still good but more of a 2 these days." top 10 in yards and 3rd in yards per rec last season with 5 different qbs... lol def a number 2 wr.
In my defense I thought he was like 33 when I made that statement lol feels like dude been in the league forever so that’s my bad, other guys picked me up there
@@swivelchairsports no worries bromigo, im just giving you a hard time as a browns fan lol. For the most part i agree on the other things you said about the others. But im hoping that jerry jeudy's underwhelming performance has been partly due to qb play in denver. Trying to be optimistic on that trade 😅.
I feel ya, Jeudy also played in 3 different offensive systems with Denver so could also be a case of never feeling comfortable. I think Amari could be a great mentor for him!
That is one concern I had with Tennessee’s group, and I see your point with Kirk, I may be taking his injury issues into account too much but 2 groin strains/tears in 3 years is a little worrisome for a wide out
@@swivelchairsports I blame the hunid heat of Florida and not stretching properly. Hopefully the new staff works with him more this year, we really need him. Jags perform so much better with Kirk active. He is literally next door neighbors with Trevor and Coach Pederson lol. Their rapport is immaculate.
Ridley was out for 2 years came back and put up 1000 yards? if you call a 1000 yard season rusty you need to reevaluate your understanding of the game.
@@Rx_Lee I call him having more drops than rain in a thunderstorm, rusty. I don't do my evaluations based off a box score. I watch the player I'm talking about. If he wasn't rusty, than his box score that you base your "understanding" off of, would have been much bigger.
